Dat Training

[Kenny]

The Brute minor known as Ragnarus stood at the foot of the mountain. His entire lance had been wiped out by human forces and he was angry. All around him the area was a fairly flat plain except for this one, small mountain he was next to. He checked his weapons. Mauler, plasma repeated and plasma pistol, they were all there. Looking around the mountain he thought he heard something, but dismissed it and carried on. Ragnarus wandered, waiting for anything to happen, something to kill.

Zelia was in a Phantom, waiting until it made planet-fall so that he could get out. As the ship began its descent, he remembered that his mission was to clean up any Brutes or Humans that he found. Shortly after his Lance leader told him that his squad was needed elsewhere and that Aiadi would be leading his fellow team mates. This was grave news for him for he had never gone on a mission alone. As he jumped out of the Phantom, he made a quick survey of the area with his plasma-repeater at the ready. He noticed a small hill in the distance, the only one nearby. It was about 400 feet away. After checking his ammo for his needle-rifle, he began to jog to the nearby hill as he felt the cool wind on his skin. Even though he was scared, he was anxios to fight an enemy. He was ready and willing to.

Grunting as he observed a dropship. The Brute started advancing away from the mountain and towards the small hill. He was about ten feet away from the start of the hill when he stopped. He readied his plasma repeater, and took cover behind a rock as he waited for whatever came out of that phantom to advance.

Arriving at the foot of the small hill, he slowly started to advance. He was carefully surveying the area for he knew that this would be the perfect place for an ambush. As he arrived at the top, not seeing anything, he noticed 2 large bolders in front of him. He ran to the nearest rock and than leaned into it, seeing that the other rock could surely have someone behind it. He knew that there was probably nothing, but being on his own he had to be extra cautios.

Ragnarus heard a light smacking as something hit a rock near him. Knowing something was there he quickly but quietly switched out for his mauler and leaned over. Immediately seeing the Sangheili and hopefully surprising him, the Brute attempted to fire a round of mauler shots into his foe.

Suddenly, Zelia noticed a Brute pop his head from out of the rock that he was looking at. Immediatly, he noticed that he had a Mausler, but before he could react he got hit by one of the shots. He fell to the ground and looked at him. Zelia got up and threw a grenade in the direction of the Brute, hopefully distracting him long enough so that he could bring out his needle-rifle. He than hid behind the rock until the grenade exploded. Hopefully his shields could recharge in time and hopefully the grenade did damage. He would find out eventually.

[Kenny]

The minor rolled to the side as the grenade exploded behind him. The explosion damaged his shields and sent shrapanel from the rocks at him. Fortunately he quickly recovered and looked over to the fleeing Sangheili.

"Come coward!! Fight like a true warrior your kind brags so much about!" He yelled, throwing a plasma grenade before taking out his plasma repeater. He then started getting towards his foe's position.

While behind the rock, with his needler-rifle he out and his shields fully recharged, but still wounded, he peeked over the rock and noticed the brute-minor running to him. As well as a grenade near his feet. He quickly dodge rolled away from the grenade, but the blast still was enough to drain his shields again. He shot about 10-15 shots at the brute for they were both out of cover. He was ducking and weaving left to right to avoid as many shots from his plasma-repeater as he could.

[Kenny]

The minor was hit by a few shots but they did nothing more then drain his shields. He continued running after his target, spraying plasma repeater shots everywhere. He did his best to avoid feeling pain as some of the shots hit him. Ragnarus' armor protected him from most though he still endured pain as he continued charging the elite, firing his mauler now.

Zelia felt much pain as many bullets entered his torso from the Maulser. His enemy was only a few feet away from him. This would be the perfect time to throw a grenade, and that is what he did. Aiming for the face of the Brute while shooting at the brute continuously as he backed up. Hopefully kill him. Zelia's blood was running down his body as he tried to ignore the pain from the shots from the brutes deadly weapon. He couldnt take much more.

The Brute avoided the plasma grenade as he saw it's light streaking towards him. Though he was hit by many of the plasma shots, destroying his shields and ravaging his armor. He now felt much pain as he slowed. He practically fell behind as rock as he hoped to recover his shields. Even with them he was still damaged internally and coughed a little bit of blood.

Zelia saw the brute fall back to his rock, and even though his shield were still barely recharging, he saw this as his chance to hopefully kill the brute once and for all. Holding his stomach, he yelled "Who is the coward now??!!". He than began to limp to the rock where the brute was hiding behind. When he arrived, he poped out at the brute with his needle-rifle and shot his entire clip at the Brute in front of him, with Zelias shields on about 40% charged. This was it...

[Kenny]

The minor was hit by a hail of bullets as he tried to recover. He attempted to run away but his shields were already gone. By the time he hard started jogging he was bleeding everywhere, and suddenly he fell. The needles had punctured his skin and he started bleeding out. He turned over and looked at his killer.

"You fight well, for a Sangheili." The Brute muttered, discarding the weapon in his hand as he died.

Zelia immediatly called for assistance, he barely survived the battle.
