Seraph got bored with Halo and Frog has not RPed in a year. I'll hop in after my character get's re-approved. He was sent to the alter section a few months back where it's remained for a long time. I edited it but I don't know why it's still there. Must have missed something. This isn't the place for that though. And a question to Kart, why no bows? They're pretty much the quintessential hunting weapon (that doesn't use gunpowder). Just a minor thought, because when I think of Elites hunting for sport the image of one using the equivalent to a real world yumi (Japanese composite longbow, sort of like the Mongolian's bows but scaled up). Just a thought. And how big is the beast, how common are they ect. Is it something that some one RASTLE with? And is armor allowed or are we wearing outdoorsy civilian clothes?

I believe I have already answered these questions: *Well, I said no bows, but I guess that isn't fair: so if you want a bow, sure, but NO CROSSBOWS * Ba'knwa, as adults, are about the size of a Sangheili. And no, do not wrestle with one or you will be maimed. *Armor is permitted, shields are not. *Moonbeasts are quite common during the Hunt, but otherwise rare: certain places have more than others. Most of the current characters have wisely decided to follow the native hunter, who's leading them to the Earthbridge, where many hide in the undergrowth around the main path. Keep in mind, your character wouldn't know that...

I was thinking they'd be about as smart as a dog or something along those lines.

I was thinking they'd be about as smart as a dog or something along those lines. They do not hunt in packs, only in pairs, and that's only if they're mating. They travel and sleep in herds, though. They most often sleep in the Forerunner Temple, where it's forbidden to kill them. They are very clever (for example, everyone thinks the Earthbridge is just a path, so they don't hunt there, so the moonbeasts hide there).

Sorry about double post, but I feel as if it is better to kick start this ancient topic again by creating an entirely new post.
The next in-character post will take a while to make, as I have IRL issues, and the fact that it will be superfluously awesome.

This temporary delay may be for the better.
We have two people trying to get profile's approved for the Hunt.
I think it's best we wait for them.
That, and I am lazy.

Here: fight a few conventional Moonbeasts.
Only: no Alphas, no Queen.

You guys should just trap it by luring it in a corner, have it call about 5 or 6 others to protect it, than have some guys in the tree throw nets and spears down to take them out it one tactical swipe. I would have manuevered it myself with my elite but now I'm forced to scream tactics through this thread. So do it already!

We have three Sangheili, one poisoned. That's not going to happen.

*Haves a migrain*
It's really hard not to just post with an unaccepted profile. But that's breaking the rules, and I don't break rules. But can we get a proffessional with some tactical thinking in there!?

The situation is that Sorsa is poisoned and taking position on a tree, Lorga is in the back(support), and Til-being the least wounded-is the front as the frontline.
I can try to take as many Moon beasts as possible, while Sorsa and Lorga help until allies arrive. When the Moon Beast Queen herself arrive, we can slow her down for a final blow.

Ok, guys. I am going to be RPing the queen, so when you attack her, do it like you would a PvP battle (state your action, not the outcome). This is to speed the RP along and to prevent god modding.
