Well, people were tired of riding around on a pelican and ground command didn't seem to give two shits what you were doing. The wraiths needed to be taken out per the UNSC Perspective thread and you turds wanted some action.....You got it.

Maxii is correct here. I have been modifying peoples' posts instead of flat deleting them since forever, and the godmodding continues. It ends. This is technically in the site rules, and I have been bending them for you guys up until this point. If it is godmodded, it goes. Period, no warning, no exceptions.

Okay, well I think there's three wraith tanks left.
My Hornet is about to crash into one, and my Pilot has bailed.
That's what I'm up to at the minute, and you guys?

Connor, my Hornet was a massive attention grabber, you can use that for your advantage to perhaps silence one other Covenant Craft or to run off.
Either Way, we'll need Caster's Gunship to dodge the incoming and try to take them out. But Caster! Fly Carefully, I really don't think the marines can be bothered to walk anywhere and also we can't take much more air casualtys!

The Core gave me a Rifle, Not Wings!
Well in my pilots case it's the other way round!
He's down on the ground, injured and only has his pistol to utilise.
He'll need some help once those wraiths have been taken out.

Okay here is formentioned 'synopsis' just for you

Okay, whats happened is that your squad is still in the same position grabbing supplys I presume, some of which has been loaded into the sole surviving pelican in the Pelican Bay.
The Pelican itself was broken and has just been fixed, it's original pilot: Squadron Leader Paul Nikon jumped on one of two hornets to assist another pelican which was caught up in a banshee attack.

Rally Point Alpha is still there, from their vantage point the marines and (Private Reilly) are attacking what was left of an infantry assault. An ODST squad found some of the old guns on the 'Morning where still working and used those to decimate the Infantry Assualt.
Now the Covenant are moving in air support with Seraph's inbound to destroy the Crimson Morning and ALL aboard it!!!!!
The Pelican in the Bay is leaving the ship, however you can radio it in for a pick-up.

Reilly has been talking of leaving the ship by going to the Vehicle Bay, taking what works and driving into those underground caverns, I haven't posted him ordering such a move as not only is he not in power but also you guys are in charge of all marine movement at the minute (Being the highest ranking officer so far.) This was just an option that would result in some marines surviving that covenant air attack.

UPDATE 8th June: Nikon's Hornet has been shot down, it crashed into one of the wraiths. However he bailed and has subsequently been wounded, the parachute didn't have enough time to open and slow him down

But I still dunno if ima come back into the mission, I still want to play my brute if all of the wraiths infantry support havent been owned already

Well matey, I posted that one of the wraiths I had damaged the crew ran away from, so that could be some of your Brute's survivors.
I'm sure a tactical retreat can save you and some of your crews, Come on Matey!

I want you guys' opinion: Should I delete the OOC thread and start a new one fresh? Should I move this one to the archive with the old story arc? Or should we just keep using the one we've got?

I dont think there is much we really need to keep this OOC thread for, so either we should keep it or start a new one, either one floats my boat. Also, are we going to have a post mission?

I think a post mission would be more suitable when the UNSC reach 'alpha base' or 'home' and the covenant too reach home or some where rather than when we're all still fighting.
However, what about an ongoing post mission to let new comers right there way into the scene?

Dave, You where near the Longsword landing but like Capt. Nikon you are probebly being helped into Caster's Pelican.
Just make sure you post at the start of mission two where your character is.
