My group could use some help if you could make it over the , what is it a large hill or small mountain?
Anyway if you can find them and lead them to the ship, better from the high cliffs then onto the top of the ship. Then we can actually do something to help the rest of the men, get them from above and below.
Also ive always wondered
what do the [Exalted/Smite] buttons do, o dont want to touch them incase the persons profile explodes or deletes it (i know thats a stupied thing to think).

Cool, well I'll wait for a bit for some more posts to see what the great 'schemers' are planning. But that would be great, the Mortar's will force my guy to fall back and then catch up with you, just an idea for the furture, how about rapelling through the windows from the roof?
Just an idea matey

Well Maxii its up to you. I'm not going to force anything on you, either come with us or go help WTiger. As both Dimitri and Jackson are throw away NPC's. Anyone can order the around and they can both die whenever anyone wants them to. ;D

Ah okay, well I'll leave Dimtri's fate up to his commanding officer I think that the Survivor X's Barrage of morters has to have an effect on us somehow so maybe my character should be forced back. Also, WTiger have any of your guys got a spare Sniper Mag? I'll post later about falling back to you guys.

I know we don't have an exact date, but should we assume some sort of "mission clock" so that we have some sense of the passage of time? Even if the mods are the only ones who can change what time/date it actually is? That way say the Covenant know how long before their Scarab is ready. That way it isn't just thrown in at a really opportune or inopportune time...?

Well that's the whole idea isn't it? Fuck realism, it's not interesting unless we get dramatic timing in there! "*sigh* and once again, Probability proves itself willing to sneak into a back alley and service Drama as would a copper-piece harlot..." -Whoever can name what character/source that quote is from gets a sweet alt-title We've done okay without a mission clock before, although some of us did try keeping track during Mission 3 iirc. That whole "headers" thing was a pain to keep up with though. Maybe I'll figure out a better way to go about that. IMPORTANT: All UNSC personnel, please check in at this thread and let us know which of the 4 lifepods you started out in! It's difficult to get a handle on where people are. I'll get a detailed map of everyone's location going as soon as I know where everyone's location is at.

well, the dead ODST might have had some sniper rifle ammo, but all my guys took were his other two grenades, assault ammo and his weapon.
also about scaling the mountain, is the snow thicker (thigh height) or is it still around our calfs?

Elando Winz! Yep, it was indeed V.
Keep in mind guys, Lifepod B is the only pod with a clear path to the ship. Lifepods C and D have big cliffs to scale, and Lifepod A has a big fat deep ravine in the way.

My character landed in drop pods just outside of A (Just in case anyone landed there, it wouldn't be awkward how two people didn't see each other).

Mr. Prez, i wouldnt think that the edge of the cliff is too steep to slide down it and find a hatch to get into the Crimson Morning from the top, or else a large hole from the crash landing or being fired at before entering the atmosphere.
i'll let you post us going down onto and into the ship, but be quick, we dont want to deal with those Phantoms.

i was trying to TIMESTAMP where our group is,
i can see already if we do that then it will be very confusing indeed. besides it sounded like your guys were still getting on both Phantoms, nothing about it actually flying anywhere.
i think......

Heads up:
My Elite is coming upon Lifeboat A. Anyone there, has fair warning to skedaddle. The area is known to the covenant.

Seriously...W McTF...
What is it with all these ex-spammers comming back and posting one sentence crap which doesn't make sense and doesn't even have a 100th of the quality of most of the people who properly post?!
Zamis 'Tardlwind your posts have been removed from the main rp. Do not post one sentence posts, do not post OOC in the main mission thread, read your posts through before you mash the post button and please use a little common sense and even some basic Halo lore.
And, for the last time, before you jump blindly into the mission, read other peoples posts that came before yours and post accordingly. No one even has tanks yet.
Please, for the love of god, if you want to roleplay properly, I have no objection to that but if you arn't going to take it seriously then you mears well be gone...

Right, well my character's now at rally point alpha onboard the ship. Give us a sit-ref on your characters ETA. Also does anyone mind if we have some more men onboard? I'm thinking some Engineers or Technicians as well as some marines may still be onboard, possibly hiding?

*shrug* I guess a few, but they'd be hella injured. Also WTiger, it's generally considered good RP etiquette to not control someone's character, except if they take a long time to post, it's usually okay to just have them tag along with you to let the story move along.

Okay, so where is the bomb planted? My guys are moving through the middle now, but I just realized. I may go into a room and not see the bomb, because OOC I don't know where it is...

*shrug* It's not like we have an exact floorplan of the ship - just make a room up.

Sorry if I've fubar the bomb location, just thought it could be in the 'hull' of the ship with the cargo. If not then let me know and I'll change it.

Works for me. It's a neutral point on the ship so far. Therefore, any person now knowing that can make it there....Remember it is heavily enforced by the Covenant...
