"ALL PIGMEN ARE TO REMAIN AROUND DALEK COMMANDER."
The Dalek shifted throughout the forest, alien to this world. It was surrounded by the squeaks and grunts of semi-humanoid pigmen, snuffling the ground. Each of the pigmen was dressed in rags, and none of them possessed weapons more dangerous than a long stick, or an armful of rocks. There were exactly a dozen of them immediately around the Dalek, with four more questing ahead.
"PIGMEN ONE, TWO, THREE, AND FOUR ARE TO SPREAD OUT AND SIGNAL WHEN THEY HAVE ENCOUNTERED SUSPECTED ENEMY TO THE CULT OF SKARO."
The four ranged the forest, squeaking as they went.
The Dalek halted in the middle of a clearing, the tall pines around them soaring.
"TEMPORAL AND SPATIAL ANALYSIS FOLLOWS, WORLD OF ABAIA--ABAIAN YEAR OF 876. DATE OF GREAT CONFLICT. PRELIMINARY TO STATED MISSION OBJECTIVES."
"DALEK COMMANDER IS TO EXTERMINATE ALL HOSTILES."
"ALL DENIZENS OF THIS WORLD WILL FLEE."
"DALEK CAAN IS MANIFEST."

A quiet crunch was the only sound that gave proof of any sort of presence as a few twigs and leaves snapped. The winter Pines were covered in snow, protecting the ground from getting to thick of a layer. The white and green needles on the trees flexed only slightly, as the heavy weight of the frozen water piled on top. Sounds of branches giving out sounded in the distance, but we miles away from where this location was. The canopy had turned grey from the cloud cover, and little white dots rained down onto the treetops as snow continued to fall.
It was Christmas time for the world. A time of Christian Worship for when their Messiah was born. Yet, over the ages, it began a time for giving. The date had become a tradition of gifts, trading, and excitement. Many people used it as a time to solidify relationships, or even start them. Though, not all areas supported it. Nor did all even acknowledge the time. Everyone had their perception of this time of year, and not all were perfect. But that wasn’t even a factor in this forest.
A man appeared in the treetops, standing on one of the tallest Pines. The brown haired man stood tall, both feet balancing his weight on the small peak. Bright blue eagle-sharp eyes were tilted up as the man’s gaze was focused on the skies above him. Saber was what many people had named him. Simply for his attributes in battle. It wasn’t a name he truly liked, but it had stuck like glue. Even when he tried to be kind, the blood-stained name always got the best of him.
Protecting him from the biting cold air, thick silver armor wrapped around key areas; chest, bisceps, hands and wrists, thighs, as well as his shins and feet. Even the cape that draped behind him had small pieces of armor embedded in the cloth, making it a sort of light shield. Little sections of blue shimmered as energy flowed within the armor, fueling the gear with the necessary amount in order for it to stay together. It didn’t take much, but the armor was made of pure energy. The highest level, and the strongest. Able to withstand even the hardest of strikes; the energy required for the armor to stay together was massive. Yet, energy was ever-present, allowing the armor to drain what it needed from anything and everything it could. The constant absorption and conversion of energy gave Saber a gentle blue aura about himself.
Strapped to his back, and hidden under his cape, a large bow made also of solid-state energy was nestled tightly against Saber. Held on by a thin energy-bridge, it seemed almost glued to Saber’s frame. The wickedly-shaped ends fanned outwards into space, the edges as sharp as a blade with points each coiling energy. The silver-frame pulsed with small lines of blue energy running through them. It looked almost digital from how the intricate lines flourished within the bindings of the solid-energy.
Saber sighed and looked around at the sky… Thoughts of war and his family brought agony to his thoughts. Raised to be a fighter, and forced down the path of bloodshed. What a pathetic way to live… At least he still had his morals and sanity. Unlike his brother… The vision and memories made Saber angry, but his focus was retained as he also remembered why he was here.
The noise of his opponent swirled through the forest below, and it was fairly obvious where it was coming from. Saber directed his energy into his eyes and suddenly the veins and arteries around them exploded with blood flow. His twin-blue iris’ flared a bright blue color, and the white cornea surrounding them fed the pupil with a steady amount. The trees turned black, the sky pure white, and his targets became illuminated with a light pink fire. The life-forces of his enemies became visible to Saber as he scanned the forest. Only a few, but his main target was obvious, as it had a much stronger fire. Though, he would most-likely toy with his target first…
Gently sliding his hand onto the middle of his bow, Saber pulled it free and off his back. In a bright flash, the four wings of the bow exploded with blue energy. A raging fire pulled the energy out of the air, then condensed tightly into sharp edges around the bow, filling the spaces that had previously been left open. At the center where Saber gripped, the hand-cover began to glow a faint red as explosive energy began to coil within it.
Saber relaxed his vision, allowing the energy that coiled in his eyes to disperse. Running to much energy at once could prove fatal, and he probably would need as much as possible for this tournament. Bow in hand, Saber hoped off the top of the tree. He plummeted for a good ten to twenty feet before simply vanishing. A massive gust of wind flowed through the forest as he moved. This was going to get interesting…
In a flicker, Saber appeared in front of his opponent… Slowly, Saber fell from the air, lowering himself the low-height of only two feet onto the tip of his foot. A graceful movement allowed him to control his weight as he gently touched the ground and stood before his enemy. Bow down to his side, Saber stared directly to his enemy; a weird life-form that looked more like a giant computer. He was unsure of the abilities of the being, as well as what he needed to do to fight it. Yet he had those moments a lot, and being able to quickly adapt to a situation had almost become second nature.
“I wish luck to you and do hope that you do not regret coming here… For you will not leave…” Saber bowed, crossing his free arm over his chest. The sheathed blade on his shoulder shined in the air, and almost hissed as it absorbed a group of falling snowflakes… A greedy weapon the knife was, but it did Saber well.
After a moment, Saber stood back to his battle posture, smirked and vanished. A heavy gust of wind raced through the clearing as he shifted from the surrounding area. Above the Pine Forest, he reemerged, his bow flexed as a flaming red energy arrow coiled at Saber’s fingertips. The hand-protector shined a blood red, and the blue fins of the bow flared as it consumed the energy in the atmosphere. As Saber held the arrow, the energy at his fingertips grew and grew with each passing second… He would hold it here as he allowed his opponent to react, and as he decided if he would target the machine’s minions first or not.

“I wish luck to you and do hope that you do not regret coming here… For you will not leave…”
The mechanical monstrosity turned its single eye to face the newcomer. Its target.
"OBJECTIVE LOCATED."
"PRIMARY DIRECTIVE INITIATED."
"EXTERMINATE."
"EXTERMINAAAATE!"
The cry that had spelled doom to a hundred species--the word that brought even the Time Lords of Gallifrey down. This was the might of the Dalek--and no form of enemy had yet succeeded in finishing them. Not even the Doctor--not even the might of Time itself.
The Dalek aimed its weapon, and then unexpectedly halted.
"ANALYSIS OF OBJECTIVE REVEALS ALARMING AMOUNTS OF SOLID-STATE ENERGY PRESENT. THIS INDICATES A LEVEL OF TECHNOLOGY THOUGHT TO BE GONE WITH THE EXTERMINATION OF NON-DALEK SPECIES 703."
"OBJECTIVE IS DANGEROUS."
"PROBE OF ENERGY CAPACITY IS IN ORDER."
The machine turned so that its body fully faced its enemy.
"ALL PIGMEN FIVE, SIX, SEVEN AND NINE ARE TO ATTACK OBJECTIVE."
A sudden flurry of squeals and grunts; four pigmen rushed upon the intruder, two bearing rocks, one unarmed, and one fortunate enough to have found a discarded antler, which it was now swinging viciously.

Saber closed one of his eyes part way, focusing the show on Dalek. The arrow raged with a mighty inferno of energy, already at the point where it could easily cause a small explosion. The bow didn’t flex, as there was no string holding the arrow. The shot was perfect, nearly lined directly with the eye of the machine, but Saber remained still… Like a statue, he held the arrow back, and listened to the air swirl around him as energy was transferred into his weapon.
What he waited for finally happened… The order for the leader’s minions to move… With a quick adjustment, Saber opened his hand, spreading four fingers out. The main arrow suddenly split, and energy channeled into all four. Window blasted even louder and a small tornado began to cycle about Saber. He turned the bow sideways, and lower his aim to the direction the Pigmen were heading… Leading the target as many sharpshooters called it. Being in the sky along with the open field, it was much easier to do this.
Slow, gentle breaths entered and exited Saber’s lungs as he relaxed his body. His vision became more focused, and time seemed to slow around him… The Pigmen’s motions became more predicable, and repetitive… he could see their steps before they moved, and his arrows flexed to adjust. With a quick exhalation, the four arrows were released.
The arrows solidified into pure-energy and burned through the air. Ripples in the air steamed and waved outwards as the jagged tips moved towards their targets… In less then a second, the flaring arrows had screeched downwards towards the ground and connected, exploding into four massive red fires where the Pigmen once were. Saber stood still, already holding another arrow, but directed it towards Dalek again.
The air had calmed some, and the burning trails of the arrows had dispersed, but Saber had not changed. He froze in place and became a statue once more, hovering in the air on two energy platforms beneath his feet. Patience was his best friend, and it would be best if he simply countered his opponent for the time being.

"DATA GATHERED FROM SENSORIUM CLUSTER SHOWS UNPRECEDENTED AMOUNTS OF PURE AND TEMPORAL ENERGY AROUND OBJECTIVE."
The Dalek's eye remained impassive, but its voice rose through the octaves.
"SECONDARY PROBE OF ENERGY CAPACITY."
The Dalek approached its enemy, gliding ever-so-softly over the forest floor.
Its weapon turned and shifted, and aimed directly at its foe.
"SECONDARY ARMAMENT OPTIMIZED."
"TARGET LOCKED ON."
"INCAPACITATE!"
A gleaming yellow beam erupted out of the Dalek's weapon--a stun ray.
As the ray flew through the air, the Dalek spoke again.
"TRANS-TEMPORAL ENERGY TRANSPORT."
The beam vanished, moved to some other point in the space time continuum where it had hit its target, thereby eliminating the possibility of evasion.
OOC: Temporal transportation. The stun ray MUST hit you now.

(OOC: Hm... While I enjoy a good undogdable and unblockable attack, I feel a ruling is in order. After thorough investigation, the attack can perform this "Temporal Transportation", but it can be dodged with only a .1 second interval. It is after all going from far away to close up in a matter of .00001 seconds but still allows the other to dodge if skilled enough. That is the official ruling. Proceed with the match.)

The movement of his opponent strengthened Saber’s energy flow as he began to track his target. His vision sharpened and iris’ glimmered blue once more as he forced some into his eyes. Time slowed slightly and the arrow flared at his fingertips as he prepared to fire the shot. Energy twirled and transferred from Nature to his weapon, allowing the flame in his hands to grow and grow with power. His posture fixed and adjusted to the movement as he slowly moved his bow to stay locked with his target.
The blue-finned bow stretched out into the space around Saber, whistling softly as the constant absorption of energy started to exhaust the spot in which he stood. He’d had to move soon, but that wouldn’t be a problem; the sky was massive. With the red gleaming arrow at hand, Saber remained still as the machine moved. To Saber’s surprise; it fired a laser... Interesting.
In a flicker, Saber’s hand collapsed onto his bow and a massive ball of energy expanded out from it around himself. The pool of energy that had focused into the arrow was now forced outwards and coiled around Saber like a shield and solidified into a solid-state red ball. The sudden exchange from attack to defense tore into the air like a hurricane, spiraling the space around him in the direction the ball began to spin, distorting it slightly. The veracity of the ball almost caused it to implode in on itself, but the pure energy kept its shape due to the centripetal forces acting on it. The lines within the ball looked almost like clouds, and the view of it began to look like a small version of the planet Jupiter and the energy lines raced... Then contact.
The ray the Dalek had shot had moved from where Saber initially saw, slamming unexpectedly into the upper right side of the ball. No matter... the 360 degree bubble of energy had done its job. In reaction, the ball flared into a brilliant yellow as the stunning-energy was dispersed before flowing to the point of contact. The entire ball flowed off like water from Saber, focusing onto the impact point as the ray was held in place. The harsh compression of it began to turn the zone into a black hole, sparking slightly. If left to long, it would potentially swallow the planet.
Though, that would never happen. Saber reached out and grabbed the ball, squeezing it tightly in his palm. It shot outward into the form of a red, solid-state, arrow with yellow streaks within it’s frame. He loaded it onto the bow and pulled back to steady it on the hand-guard. The blue fins of the bow exploded into a massive back-fire, shooting outwards to about 30-meters behind Saber as the arrow essentially gnawed at the dimension for power. Saber quickly aimed down towards the Dalek, heaved a slow breath to focus, then released as fast as possible. The energy in the arrow would not hold for long.
Just after he released, Saber shifted out of the zone, appearing above the other side of the forest as to keep himself out of the blast radius. The arrow slammed into the ground and ignited, shaking the ground beneath him, almost cracking the crust open. The explosion following the connection domed upwards and out, disintegrating nearly 20 and more of forest just seconds after as the energy dispersed rapidly back into the it was taken from. The snow in the area of the blast melted almost instantly as the heat of the energy-trading rose the temperature of the Forest several degrees. A massive gust of wind blew the rest of the snow back into the air, and the trees outwards away from the blast.
Standing still, Saber waited for the blast to fade and shifted straight upwards into the sky to see the destruction. The Dalek had shot a ray, and rays, being smaller-types of lasers, contained much more energy then anything else as they were essentially focused energy. Getting that shot at him was almost a god-send. Now, part of the forest was vaporized, along with much of the planet’s crust. The white forest looked almost as if snow was falling for the first time again... and a little lake pooled at the bottom of the crater from the melting of the snow around the blast.
Without sign of his opponent, Saber held up his bow and focused a small bubble around himself and expanded it a few meters outwards. It was thin, only a few centimeters thick, but if he was to be hit from a blind spot, it would alert him and give him at least a second or so to react. He had gone against opponents that toyed with him before, and if the Dalek had survived, he would need to be ready. Saber kept his hands tight on his bow and prepared them to form an arrow but didn’t do anything yet. He just stood, watching and waiting. Saber had a feeling this fight wasn’t over, but if the Dalek had survived, he’d be getting a face full soon...

OOC: Saber, that was not godmodding. It wasn't a Dalek laser either. That was a teeny widdle stun ray. The Doctor took three of those things head-on before it got to him. You won't get that much energy from it--that's why I used a STUN ray to see whether you could absorb energy.

How can you even judge 6 posts? If you're going to judge like that, then I don't even want to participate in these things anymore.

Perhaps Judge Monkey would consider letting the fight continue? Six posts is pretty short, not much of a chance to let them show what they can do. *cough*andthenImightnotlosemychips*cough*

No it hasnt Duffle. The fight has had to pause for two weeks because of Kart leaving. We've fought for maybe 4 days? And there would certainly be more if my opponent was more active. So focus on your own fight.

That's not what I meant Saber, calm down. And I was siding with you. He should not have graded it yet. What I meant is that it has been up for many weeks, so I can see why monkey did it. I'm not saying he should have.

Dalek, would you like to ignore Monkey and continue? I feel like we could have some fun. Well.. if you somehow evade my last attack xD
