he's in 3rd Drop Platoon, 73rd Company, 109th Battalion 1st Squad, Team Alpha Member. Thats written under his own post how do you guys miss it? He's under prides command, so jakob ...get a grip of your private lol he's almost out of ammo already and he's not even in the AA gun.

If my Peregrines get approved, would I be able to RP them? Or do I have to wait for a runway of sort to be made?

I think you need a runway. The only way you wouldn't need one is if the Peregrines are VTOL-capable craft. But seeing as such a distinctive feature is not described in the UNSC Vehicles thread, then they probably don't have it. I know it says they utilize thrust vectoring technology, but that could imply extreme maneuverability and/or STOL capabilities, not necessarily VTOL. So until the UNSC secures a regional firebase somewhere and builds a makeshift runway, you're grounded.
Even so, the Army would still love to have some flyboys to call on!

Question: What's the Pelican's role at the moment? Troops have been dropped, but there's no place to move next. There isn't a ground base secured, the long return back up to a vessel engaged in a deadly ship-to-ship fight doesn't seem like a good idea.
Advise?
