A quick question: Can my Spec Ops be in the Covie Intermission? I tried to get an answer before, but no one answered.

Removed mine, my bad. This is in regards to my second post on there: [OOC: I know this echoes your post a little, Bippwatt, but my character actually is engaged for real, lol.] Why did I need to know this? I don't note a echo of my post anywhere. Not that I mind this info. Might be good to know later, but I don't think it's useful to me now! Also, Nikolai is not flirting. He's not a terribly...sexual creature at his current position. And he sure as hell ain't going to try with a superior! He's not stupid!

I thought it did (echo your post, that is). I think you're missing the point a little. It's not the fact that my character's engaged that's important, but the fact that the ring allows her to dodge guys trying to hit on her, like your character Idina. I just didn't want you to think that what I wrote was based off your Idina post. But if you didn't make the connection then I guess I have nothing to worry about. :)
Also, I wasn't comparing her to Nikolai in any way. Anyway, what's Nikolai, a lance corporal? And he's hitting on a corporal? Hardly a large difference in rank. It's nowhere near as scandalous or significant as hitting on an officer or something like that, so it wouldn't be a big deal even if he was seriously trying.

thats not against the militaries rules just you can't use it to further your career or show undo preferance to said person.

Well technically right now they're still in a setting that's full of military personnel, right? Not particularly discreet, although it's true that they are all off-duty.
I don't know, I just thought it wasn't as terribly a huge deal that a lance corporal was going for a corporal, when it may have elicited a greater reaction had he been going for a lieutenant or a captain.

I'm prone to hyperbole from time to time when trying to make a point. ;) So what about rules against fraternization? Do commanders just kind of turn a blind eye as long as the relationship isn't disrupting anything or what?

I feel I have been lied to by popular media yet again! They make this out to be such an issue when it really isn't. Good to know, though.

So has the Covie intermission just kind of stopped? I've been waiting for some one to respond to my post or my other character to be accepted for a bit.

Bravely said, Feel Good!
I think the UNSC one is more dead though.

It says what the date is in the very first post, again. Well, as I wasn't asking because of something to do with the Intermission I think I dodge the "dunce" bullet there. Thanks, anyway.

We gonna keep the Covenant intermission moving or what? It would be a real bummer if it was left to sit.

*Raises hand.* My fault, well, sort of. Most people were involved in our conversation, with you and Spartan waiting for answers. But then my computer got hacked. Though I shall post now.

*grumble* None of the Covenant have reacted to the new offensive announced by S'vat.

Well, I'd think most enlisted soldiers would get pretty nervous and tongue-tied around a Major, though Jakob's tongue seems to be loosened up.
