BTW, Hallam, are you going to lead us into battle or can I have a few scouts get into position, just that if the Spartans have their platoons providing overwatch then the Spartans can start the fight.

Each Platoon will go in from different angles towards the grav lift so we don't get bogged down waiting on people like myself. >_>

Everything about this operation was stealth, they haven't seen us yet, didn't expect us to follow, yet here they are setting up defences and traps?

What are you talking about my post? I wasn't setting up traps, all I was doing is stationing my men so that they are ready IF they were attacked.

I don't understand why I'm bothering to post on the defenses when Covenant and Human players alike are ignoring it. Part of the RP is the interaction....NOT knowing what another player might throw in the mix.

If we all just want to write fanfics and set up our own shit then why not come out and say it?

Human players beware, all Covenant besides Shri T'ova appear to have clairvoyance and know you're coming.

Just a note: For the octillian'th time, my "clairvoyance" is merely a good judgement call and once again "leaving nothing to chance," quote. I think everyone else is just metagaming this s***.

EDIT:

This is exactly why I skip, or (mostly) just skim the UNSC/Human posts! My character has no clue what to expect, but just trusts that the tanacity of the Humans will bring them to the ship. Could be in hours... could be weeks. Doesnt even know what kind of forces are coming. Hidden advantage of skipping certain psots hehe.

Considering that you're on a desolate rock, in the middle of no where, and arn't expected to have been followed, let alone attacked, you do seem awfully prepared. That and a few ambigious/poorly framed sentences as well.

Im not really sure I agree with SuperCommando´s post, on the RPG. I mean its great his character was approved as a Spartan, but its his first post on the RPG and he is directly killing covenant, disregarding all the other posts and the teamwork of everyone else.
