Guys who're hoping to jump the gun, wait up abit for the SPARTANs, they're the heavy guns who'll stop you from getting blown to bitty pieces' cause you wanted to be first off.

Oh no! Double post! Anyway, My main PC is currently dead and I can only get on the 2ndary PC periodically due to it being the family PC. I'll only be able to become active again by either late tomorrow or sometime next week. I might be able to get another post off today but I dunno. Hopefully I've set you up to RP for a bit before you need some more input from me.

And everyone, its an AC not a CCS. It is an Assault Carrier, that's true. But it still is a Covenant Capital Ship as well. Either one would be correct. It's like calling an American aircraft carrier and Aircraft Carrier, or a United States Ship....Both are correct.

But now that I have read that on Halopedia I'm not sure the other source was correct. The other source which was pulled from a combination of the books and games. Halo 2 opening cut scene....CCS is added to the picture of all the covenant ships entering Sol system. It was my understanding from those sources that CCS literally translated to Covenant Capital Ship. Therefore it's classed as a Capital Ship although not further designated like UNSC Argent Class Cruiser....I though it was akin to they current day USS, which translates to United States Ship. Therefore, it would have made sense to say CCS - Pious Charity...You wouldn't refer to the USS Eisenhower as Aircraft Carrier Eisenhower (although you could)....One would just say, USS Eisenhower. I still question the validity of the Halopedia article, but generally they are on it. Also: halo.wikia.com/wiki/Capital_ShipListed among Capital Ships, is the Assault Carrier, which would follow my line of thought. It seems more like a canonical oversight more than anything else.

Er, the Assault Carrier is on the list of capital ships not because it fits into some Covenant ranking system, but because it classes as a capital ship by the usual definition of one. As I'm sure you know, Halo didn't come up with the idea of capital ships, instead going along with the usual way of things and refering to vessels over a certain size/importantance as them. Looking through some of the novels, I can't find any reference to CCS, or to Covenant Capital Ship beyond simply refering to vessels in a general, overall way. Unsurprisingly, this is as capital ship is usually used rather than some specific thing added by the Halo series. Until there is some confirmed variant, why not just stick to using the class part rather than adding a layer of confusion between a single class of cruisers and every single other Covie ship?

Covenant Players: Seeing a lot of Covenant going off on their own in opposition to established orders....You're of course free to do this, but there will likely be consequences for your character and squad.

I think I mentioned everyone in that last post. If I've not forgotten anyone I'll just make up some NPC squad for the Spartans to command.

If it is all right could I generate two random squads it would also give Chhurchill something to do beside chit chat in my spartan's head.

all of the marines just got off of Pelican at he Lethe surface so you can just have them milling around waiting to move out and attack the AC.

What a squad for each Spartan? Thats actually a good idea since we're short of a squad for the Spartan Platoon and having two more squads for them would make the numbers add up. Ok, go ahead and make up 2 NPC squads, they can be ODSTs or Marines just remember to use them right.

As some of you may know, I've been putting player character names in bold and yellow print. Even doing this though, some people are missing interactions with their characters.....

Umm this is a summary of what i read from the mission. feel free to correct me if im wrong at any point. (I didnt realy understand what you'll are after someone needs to explain that to me)
They've touched onto the surface of the planet, they must keep their helmets on at all times to be able to breathe. Now Hallam is going to brief everyone on the mision.
(not the best summary i know but i skimmed like half of it)
Now what shall Golf Squad (my squad) do?
