Well, lets just say the chances of groundstrike increased heavily thanks to people deciding that giving away the position of vessels supposed to be hdden by taking dropships down to a planet and providing a great big hint as to where they are positioned for the Covenant sensor packages in orbit.

Of course, this is along with the random carrier group jumping in.

Uh guys. I'm in a bit of a pinch... That Sierra X-ray guy posted to respond to my snipers falling asleep on his ledge. They interacted and stuff and now supposedly they are on the ledge with me... I left off asking him for a response and he hasn't been active.

It's on page 4 of the Post Mission all the way at the bottom. What should I do? Is my sniper now frozen or should I edited it so something else happens?

can't u just write past him like u didn't get a response so u resumed what you were doin?

Well, he put his characters right smack in the middle of my guy's ledge so I can't blow them off without upsetting some rule. Resuming what I was doing will be almost impossible as well, my character was asleep right where they hopped up.

Jake stiffened at the sound of his Sergeants voice, shaking a little bit before relaxing. He didn’t care if the spooks knew or not, but the thought of getting in trouble for it certainly put a chill down his spine. Maybe it would be a better idea not to use it later, as a last resort possibly, but not out in the open.

As I'd rather not sift through a pile of posts that would take hours to read, would anyone mind filling me in on what the hell's been going on in the plot so far, specifically from a Covenant perspective, as I plan on dropping in as a split chin. And please tell me we ditched that "NO HELPING PEOPLE WHO DON'T HAVE HOURS TO SPARE" rule.

The Covenant Assault Carrier has been grounded and kept covered by a bunch of UNSC frigates while the human ground troops are preparing to board and capture it. Covenant reinforcements haven't arrived thus far, though there'll be a mod plot post when they do.

Also, it wouldn't take hours.

So from what I can recall the UNSC has successfully taken the gravity lift platform on the ground. The commanding Office of the assault carrier, played by Cracker, has ordered the retreat pf Covenant forces that were on the ground to return to the AC. But there are Covenant infantry that were not able to get inside the carrier, so they have scattered to the surrounding area instead. Once the retreat was complete, the gr av lift bay hatch was sealed and the lift deactivated. For the moment the Covie forces inside the ship are now mounting defenses in and around the lift bay. The scattered ground forces remain unorganized.

And those forces hopefully will not find the DZ or Nova squad will be to worn out to fight back and most likely be wiped out first.

newblood, your post was both factually incorrect (sensors do not work that way, and you are not in a position to dictate what the NPC fleet commander ordered you to do) and it hasn't been hours in IC terms, so your post did not fit with what is being arranged for the continuation by the mods at the moment.
