Mission Two: Bowels of the Beast With the initial fast paced insertion and fighting completed, the UNSC Forces had found themselves effectively locked out from their target Hades. Whilst the majority of the marines had tried to relax, a small number of technicians, engineers and ONI operatives had argued, planned and plotted on how to activate the gravity lift and unlock the doors. A well-briefed A.I carried by one of the Spartans that made up Gamma Team had then downloaded the relevant coded instructions so that he could hack the covenant battle network and manipulate their ship to the human’s needs. The Leading Officer; Captain Hallam stood attentively underneath the ship, his eyes looking upwards, lost in concentration. Gamma Two, one of the three Spartans that made up Gamma Team turned towards him, “Sir, with all due respect we need to get in and get the job done” and with that Harry 152 nodded over to the gravity lift and an unknown technician activated it. Into the Belly and the Bowels of the Beast… ...and Back into the Action.... OOC: Check This yappashalorpg.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=mainrp&thread=1839 and then Post in this thread!

Harry 152 Location: Inside Target Hades Leading the Attack/ Taking Point
The Three Spartans had landed in a vacant and somewhat battered lift room, a few corpses lay on the ground, posing no threat to the small group they moved on. Gamma One radioing the following “Entrance way clear”
Harry gripped his pistol tightly as he ran quickly along the corridor, behind him another two massive green hulking figures charged onwards. “Damn passageways are either blocked or locked” he growled. Joe’s resident AI; Churchill replied “I’m doing the best I can”
“Make sure you send in at least one specialist with each platoon” Harry advised one of the brass down below him, on the ground as he edged forwards. Taking aim at a figure skulking in the shadows, Harry softly squeezed the trigger; the shot ringing out marked the start of hostilities inside the ship.
“Contacts” he stated simply and smiled as he holstered the pistol and used his rifle.

The first few gunshots rang out, causing Major Domo K'tas Raedomai to wake with a start. He sprang upwards, sliding his two blades into place at his sides, and slinging his carbine across his back. Picking up a plasma pistol for good measure, he rushed out of his private quarters, and into the room in which his lance slept together. "The humans have boarded the carrier, and they are coming our way! Get up and get ready, NOW!" he roared. His sangheili rolled off of their floor mats, and grabbed their weapons, ready to fight at any moment. They moved as one out of the door, and into the hallway. Activating camouflage, they crept silently down the hallway, their well trained bodies not making a single sound as they advanced. As he looked around a corner, K'tas held up one fist, telling his lance to halt. He looked again, and spotted a group of five human marines, advancing slowly with assault rifles at the ready. K'tas waited for the humans to round the bend, before plunging one blade into one marine, and decapitating another with a back handed swipe. Katvar unleashed a hail of crystalline needles upon one marine, and the fiery neon pink explosion blew him apart, sending the other two sprawling back onto the floor. They fired their assault rifles, taking out Katvar's shielding. He rolled backwards, ducking into an open room. Xemplar rolled into the oncoming fire, dodging most of the bullets, and sending one leg flying out, crushing the rib cage of the forth marine. The other marine saw five oncoming sangheili warriors, and turned to flee, only to be picked off by viartas' Carbine.

Spartan 178 Joe Joe turned towards the noise and saw five elites finishing off a group of marines. Joe raised his rifle and fired at them. He clicked his com, a signal for back up. Joe fired his entire clip at the elites. ODST Sergeant Redsont Redsont and his squad were going up the gravity well when the heard the gun fire. "Heads up, we're going hot", Redsont ordered his team as he grabbed his rifle. They were nearing the room, and the fight.

Few sounds could rouse Nha 'Chavamee from slumber, and even fewer were worth it. One was the sound of High Charity's bells. The other was the rattle of gunfire. The Sangheili struggled to his feet and groped in the near-darkness for a weapon. He located a plasma rifle and a couple of grenades before glancing around. He was alone...where was the Lance? It took a moment for Nha to remember the events of a few hours ago. He'd sent them off under Taheri to guard the area of the Charity between the grav-lift and the command center, where the Executive Officer was directing the ship's defense. As Nha remembered who he'd kept, he looked down and spotted two sleeping forms. After Jae and Rek had been woken, the three Covenant soldiers crept through the ship towards the sound of battle. Nha's hearts pumped excess oxygen around his body and he was filled with a powerful feeling of confidence. "Rek," he murmured to the Kig-Yar, "follow us at a distance." Rek gave a birdlike nod and dropped back with the Carbine he'd borrowed from the Major. The two Sangheili stopped at a point where the corridors curved and Jae peeked around to see the first indicators of battle. As he verified that the two Unggoy were indeed passed on, Nha trained his weapon on the door ahead of them, expecting a human to emerge at any moment. He had to resist the urge to lecture his companions on where best to hit the enemy, but reminded himself that they too had been trained to know this sort of thing. --- "...will arrive soon, Iunus," the Jiralhanae finished, cutting the link and glancing around. He was clad in the cobalt armor of a Minor, but his red eyes flashed with untold experience in committing atrocities. Irbinus stood in a passageway several levels above the grav-lift chamber, straining to see in the gloom that had descended after power had been diverted to important areas. He'd scouted the entire area and found it deserted, but knew that less than two levels below him the beginnings of a battle were flaring. The Jiralhanae stood in the darkness and listened to the sharp rings of Elite plasma fire drowning out the humans' cracking powder-weapons. Excitement won and he loped off to join in. --- As was always the case in the aftermath of a brief, fierce firefight, all was quiet in the grav-lift chamber save for the quiet footfalls of humans moving past the spot where a Kig-Yar played dead convincingly. Jut had been close to a Sangheili Minor when he'd been peppered with bullets, and the warrior's indigo blood had spattered all over the marksman. The humans, pathetic as they were, couldn't tell the difference between blood of different races other than by color, and Kig-Yar blood was only slightly darker. Thus, to any who spotted the bloodied corpse leaning in the corner, he'd been brutally killed. Jut allowed himself a smile as he waited patiently for the room to be vacated.

Lieutenant Jakob Zaborowski |
Jakob looked up as the door opened and the lift activated, several Marines and ODSTs jumped into the lift, disappearing in the darkness of the metal monster. Jakob looked at Aborn and yelled "Let's move ladies! We are Oscar Mike!" He waited for the men to form up then watched as they all made a final check on there equipment, guns loaded, safety's on, scopes clear, electronics working. He jogged over into the lift when everyone was ready and flew up, not used to the sudden defiance of Newtons laws he nearly turned upside down, barely making it into the bay on his feet. He waited for everyone to get in when he heard gun shots ringing out, he waited and when Jake came up he jogged over, "We got men taking fire down there, get ready to use that thing." He jogged away and spotted the Sergeant he had talked to earlier, "Hey, you know where we're going?" He asked looking at the multiple doors.

Olarmi awoke to the annoying clatter of human weapons and immediately jumped into action. He grabbed his plasma rifle and needler then flipped on his com and opened a link to his lance "Hurry you methane hounds or we'll both be dead!" he roared at his unggoy. He ran into the corridor and ran towards the junction leading down to were the fighting was coming from. His com clicked "we come master! we just-*weez* a little behind!" his grunt engineer Gog Bo weezed.
Olarmi poked his head around a corner to see a pair of kig-yar get blasted off their feet by four human marine's, splattering blood about the corridor. Olarmi waited for one of the humans to say all clear and start reloading to burst from behind the wall and open up on them with combined fire from his needler and plasma rifle. The first marine was caught off guard and took two needles to the chest and a bolt to the face melting his skin and causing a sicking smell to fill the corridor. The second one took ten needles to his chest and exploded splattering blood and gore apon his comrades. the other two dove back behind over turned covenant supply crates.
Olarmi hid behind the corner he had originally came from and reloaded his needler. he looked down the corridor and saw his Unggoy lance approaching. Olarmi's thoughts were interrupted by a frag grenade that bounced off the wall in front of him and bounced landing a little bit down the corridor from him. He dove back out into the corridor were the marine's were waiting, and opened up on him. His shields held up long enough for his lance to arrive and have his heavy weapons unggoy Dak Fad to use his fuel rod cannon and blast the last two marines.

Circip the Cannon Fodder
The doors slid shut with a reassuring hiss as the Unggoy stumbled through to be met by a scowling Minor Domo. He sat against the wall, waiting for the bio-gel to take effect. "Damn those heretics," he snarled through gritted teeth, showing the Unggoy a slightly squashed metal object before discarding it. Circip sighed as he noticed the bodies of three unknown brother Grunts lying in a dried-up pool of luminescent blood.
He brought his plasma pistol to bear as the door opened, but angrily tucked it away when he saw who stood on the other side. "You might at least forewarn me," growled the Heavy, ushering the rest of the lance inside. Vuk snorted and continued along the passageway, but the two Unggoy lowered their heads submissively. "Yes, Circip," they mumbled.
(He's a serious joke: kill this guy.)

Ogada heard the sound of gunfire, and could feel seven...no, eight, human marines. The Mgalekgolo, along with his bond-brother, quickly began to run down the corridors necessary to reach the humans. As they ran, they could feel the humans' guns fire, and met with counter fire from...brutes. Four brutes, one dead, making the human's opposing force only three in number.
Ogada than recognized the shape and features of the brutes, they were the same ones that the mgalekgolo pair quarreled with earlier. If Ogada could grin, he would be doing so at the moment. They soon approached the corridor, entering on the Jiralhanae's side. The barbaric warriors had lost another one of their numbers, and only two of the humans had fallen.
Hearing the approaching Mgalekgolo, the lead Jiralhanae turned around to probably argue that he didn't need help, or something that was predictable for one of their kind to say, but before he could speak, he was greeted with a 3 foot long needler round to the neck, stabbing all the way through him and pinning him to empty weapon box(That are always used as cover in the halo games >.>) behind him. The other turned around to respond to this, but Ogada gave a swift, hard front-kick, causing the minor to go flying backwards over his cover and land on top of one of the humans.
The marines, not quite understanding what just happened, opened fire on the nearly dead brute, killing it. They looked back up just in time to see the hail of heavy needler rounds stream at them. They turned and ran back down the corridor, two of them getting nailed before they could even turn, another getting his leg impaled by a shot, which than stuck into the ground, paused for a couple seconds, and than detonated, cutting the man's leg off.
The fallen marine screamed and gripped at his stub of a leg, which was now filled with micro-shrapnel. The Mgalekgolo pair charged forward, Ogada's heavy foot stepping on the crippled man, turning his entire torso into a pancake. The three remaining marines got behind sufficient cover and start firing back at Ogada and Nafasu. Bullets pinged off of their armor, and they slowly moved forward, firing their massive heavy weapons.
One marine got nailed through the head, and collapsed to the ground. Another got impaled through the chest, he gasped for air as his lungs got ripped open, hands clenched tightly around the three foot needle that was sticking out of both sides of him. It, of course, soon detonated. The marine's heart was very quickly filled with micro-shrapnel, and he died almost instantaneously. The third and last marine took a small ball off of his belt, and pulled a small ring off of it.
Ogada could feel the inner-workings of the tiny sphere, it was a grenade of some sort. The man tossed it towards the mgalekgolo pair, but Ogada swung his shield, and batted it back. The grenade landed next to its owner, who stared at it with wide-eyes for a split second before it detonated in a bright flash of light.

Harry 152 Location: Inside Target Hades Leading the Attack/ Taking Point
As Harry finished off an elite that had been guarding his door, he turned to beckon the rest of his unit, finding Joe and Evan nowhere to be seen. “Bugger!” he exclaimed, noticing that Joe had asked for backup. “Silas, can you get to Joe?” he radioed to another Spartan, unsure of anyone’s position, Harry would have to retrace his steps and try to find where the rest of Gamma had gone to.
“Disorganised Assault, Everyone Lost or Dead, Great Plan”
He shook his head, remembering the explosive device he carried, he could use it and obliterate the ship, all the enemy and friendly personal destroyed, pacification of the planet that would then be littered with wreckage.
If it came down to it, could he bring himself to do it?

As the group of sangheili ducked back around the corner, dodging most of the bullets fired out of Joe's assault rifle, Katvar stepped out, emptying both of his needlers at the oncoming spartan.
(Kill me? I'm afraid not seeing as you're running down a hallway with no place to dodge, and even a spartan can't take two full needler clips.)

SPARTAN-009 (Silas) | Inside Target Hades | Corridor near lift room |
Silas was guarding their backs as the Spartans advanced deeper into the enemy ship – a maze of purple corridors even more twisted, literally, by heavy interior damage. He was pretty sure the odd metal floor he stood on was tilting slightly to the side. He couldn’t help but wonder what had happened to this ship to put it in such a state. At least now he had an idea of why it hadn’t simply taken off. “ Silas, can you get to Joe?” Harry radioed from the far end of the corridor. Checking his motion tracker, Silas found the nearby yellow dot not too far away. “Roger that,” Silas replied. “He’s nearby. I’ll see what happened.” He took off back the way they came, his metal boots clanking heavily on the alien floor as he hurried back to the last intersection they passed. He snapped around the corner, his large GPMG shouldered as a normal-sized human might hold an assault rifle. There was Joe, engaged in a firefight with multiple enemy contacts. Elites, by the look of them. And he had arrived just in time to see one discharge a burst of needler fire at his fellow Spartan. Nearby in the intersection was one of those big purple supply crates the Covenant had littered everywhere. It was empty, but that was fine. Silas ran over, delivering a solid kick to the heavy object. Sparks sprang up as it grinded across the floor, coming to a stop in front of Joe.“Thought you’d start a party without telling the rest of us, huh?” Silas said to his teammate. He took cover back around the corner again, then leaned out with his machine gun. The muzzle flash and noise generated in as he fired was tremendous, lighting the dim corridor like a rapid strobe light as he unleashed a torrent of heavy suppressive fire at the Elites. If they didn’t want to get shredded into purple hamburger, they’d have to fall back.

Spartan 178 Joe Joe braced for the needler shards when a covenant crate slid in front of him and provided cover. He turned to see Silas moving behind the crate as well and provided suppression fire. “Thought you’d start a party without telling the rest of us, huh?”, Silas asked. "What can I say, besides they started it.", Joe joked. Joe took the other side of the crate and primed a grenade, he threw it into the center of the elites. This battle wasn't looking good, even with two spartans. Joe raised his rifle and reloaded the clip before firing again. ODST Sergeant Redsont Redsont stood in the grav lift room with his team, the signs of battle were aparent everywhere. Along with that there were a few soldiers doing clean up, collecting weapons and such. Desmond came to Redsont's side. "So boss, where to now", Desmond asked. "Not a damn clue, but the best bet would be to find the others and regroup", Redsont explained. "And if we find some covenant along the way, we kick their asses!", Pat exclaimed. "Move out", Redsont ordered and they proceeded out of the room.

Private Jake Furrow Fire Team Alpha; Nova Squad |
Once the gravity-lift was opened and the darkness of the interior of the ship could be seen, Jake felt goose bumps wrinkle up his skin, the chill of cold air rush down his spin, and his hands began to shake profusely. Whether it was the fear of death in the air, the rush of his adrenaline, or the sounds of gunfire echoing out of the belly of the beast. He didn’t know, nor did he care. He had been ordered planet side with his team, and so down into hell they went. He signed up for things like this, he wanted to bleed the Covenant dry with a rifle. There they were, just inside the ship. Even so, he felt weak in the knees. His body trembled and he felt sweat drip down his neck and face faster. With the Spartans here, it just made his situation worse. Jake knew this would be bad if ONI had to send in three Spartans. Either that package was important, or this would be tough. Probably a bit of both, maybe add in a hint of stupidity. Damn shady creeps, if Jake could, he would just blow the damn ship to hell and get the intelligence later from the rubble. That wasn’t up to him though, and with the sound of his Lieutenant‘s voice, he was forced into the fray. "Let's move ladies! We are Oscar Mike!"Jake pulled his rifle from the ground, and shoved a heavy clip inside of it’s gut. Black soot and dust fell from the rifle, dropping onto the ground around him. He hoped the heat didn’t get to the gun, he would be screwed if it did. Jake took a look around him as he clicked off the safety. Other squads were moving around, while others were hopping into the lift, only to disappear. The Spartans were already inside, their big green bodies missing from the scene. And Nova Squad was fumbling around with their equipment, just like the others. “This operation is going beautifully!” Jake thought to himself, scowling up at the blocked-out sky for a quick moment. When Jake’s Lieutenant moved, he slipped past the others and moved as well. The Sergeants were ahead of him of course, but the other Troopers were to busy with their equipment to actually notice until Jake shoved through. The lumbering ship above was scary as hell, as if some demonic angel was floating above ready to just slaughter them. Jake shuddered in his boots as he watched his Lieutenant hop into the lift. The man twisting about and almost flipping over, brought a smirk to Jake's face. Gravity-lifts were known to do that, but as Jake stepped in, the ride was smooth. He kept his body still and didn’t move a muscle as he was lifted into the ship. Below him his squad mates also had some troubles and it was hard to keep from laughing. The darkness of the ship, as he landed inside, ended any thoughts of laughing though. Jake took a small walk around, looking around the insides of the ship. It was a wonderful piece of craftsmanship, he gave the Covenant that. Everything was sleek and it all shimmered together. Each color complimenting the other, well, except for the parts of the interior of the room that bristled with gunfire and damage from the earlier battles in space. Jake felt at home inside the ship, he had always wanted to kill the Covenant, but had a sense that they would make better allies. Diplomacy probably wouldn’t work, but if he was alone with an Elite or something, he might as well try to talk his way out rather then actually shoot the thing. With silent thuds closing in behind him, Jake gripped his rifle and turned, raising it up a bit incase if his thought was already true. Yet, instead of an Elite, his Lieutenant had moved up to him. The sense of urgency in the man’s footsteps made the man’s words seem important. These days, Jake didn’t know what was important. All he knew was point-shoot-reload, and listen to those fat bastards somewhere else in the galaxy that threw orders at him. "We got men taking fire down there, get ready to use that thing."Jake knew what he was talking about. With a gentle nod to his Officer, Jake whipped off his pack and quickly pulled the point-defense gauntlet that he recovered from the Jackal back at the DZ, onto his wrist. The sound of heavy gunfire made grabbing this thing and hiding it a very smart idea. Using it would probably save his life. Jake closed his pack and slung it over his shoulders, picking his rifle back up into his hands from where he set it on the floor. The gauntlet shined quietly on his left forearm and awaited being activated. Thankfully his left hand wasn’t his trigger hand and it just helped hold the rifle steady. Once he was ready to go. Jake moved swiftly and lightly across the floor to the hall where he heard echoing sounds of a firefight. He crouched next to the door and faded into the shadows, his black armor allowing him to do so. Jake stayed still and looked down the scope of his rifle into the blackness. With nothing on the regular, he switched to the night vision setting on his scope. He could see down the tunnel a long way before it twisted and turned out of sight. He relaxed on a knee and steadied his rifle on the middle of the hallway. If anything came into view, he would be quick enough to pop a shot. For now, he would wait for orders to do something else.

Jakob sighed as the Redsont walked away, he looked around and noticed the Private sneak into the shadows. Jakob calmly moved down the hall along with the Private, it was obvious that the gunfire wasn't in the hall, and the Privates senses were clouded with fear and adrenaline, he walked up and made sure not to frighten him, he whispered, "Kid calm down, if you panic to much you will get yourself shot, or end up shooting one of ours." He looked around and un-holstered his battle rifle, he slowly got in a crouch and activated the platoon wide com, "Fire-team Charlie, scout the above hallway, Fire-team Beta fall in close behind, Alpha, on me." He watched as the two teams crouched over to the wall and leaned, in, they slowly walked into the hall, Jakob heard several gunshots ring out and a explosion, a female ODST screamed as the needles that had just impaled her stomach exploded, killing her. "Shit get to cover! All teams take them down!" Jakob got out of his position and ran to a crate, he slid over to it, and waited a second to pop up, firing at a Grunt with a fuel rods head. "Aim for the heavy weapons Grunt!" He yelled on the com.

K'tas scooped up the grenade, and hurled it back at the two spartans, before ducking into the room which Katvar had taken cover in earlier. His lance took positions around the room, with weapons trained on the doorway. His and Viartas' carbines, Coarthe's Fuel Rod Gun, Katvar's needlers (now fully loaded), and Xemplar's Beam rifle. They had all taken cover, so as to protect against human grenades. K'tas signaled them to activate camouflage, and he waited for the two demons to walk through the doorway.

Spartan 178 Joe Joe took cover to protect himself from the thrown back grenade. After the explosion he leveled his rifle to shoot at the elites, but they were gone. Joe glanced at his radar and picked up the contacts but didn't see them. He glanced at Silas as he figured it out. "Active Camo, time to go!", He said. Joe moved from cover as he grabbed the two plasma grenades from his earlier battles on the ground. He was hoping to save them for later but this situation called for such things. He primed the grenades and threw towards the covenant's last known position. He then turned and ran back towards the intersection.

The grenades exploded in the center of the room, to far away from anyone to cause any real damage. K'tas looked at his own radar, and saw that the two spartans had fled. He was hardly surprised. Demons are fine with fighting against grunts and jackals, but when they come face to face with something their own size, they turn tail and flee. Typical. K'tas and his lance slipped out of the doorway, and found themselves facing Nha, another sangheili and a Kig - Yar, all three of which were aiming their weapons at him. "Do not Shoot!" He yelled.

Harry 152 Location: Inside Target Hades Harry retraced his steps until he came across Joe and Silas taking shelter behind a few storage crates. "All for one, one for all" He grinned and moved towards them. Joe had activated two plasma grenades and had thrown them at a seemingly invisible target. “Time to reroute eh?” Harry asked as the other two Spartans retreated back to an intersection. “Churchill, I want you to seal off all the doors, so that we don’t get any flanking fools or marines getting lost in this sodding maze” spoke Gamma One; Evan as he reappeared from his meanderings. “And if you can’t do it, then we’ll have to send for a spook” grinned Harry. "Cover!" olarmi shouted as more humans attacked him "Dak Fad!" his heavy weapons grunt took three bullets to the head "Damn!". Olarmi ripped a container down and hid behind it. his lance retreated back down the other corridor. Olarmi popped up and fired with his needler and his plasma rifle. his other unggoy beep beep tossed out a plasma grenade that landed near were the humans were firing from, then she dove next to olarmi.

Jakob watched as a plasma grenade landed on the ODST on his rights head, the man screamed at the bright light and pulled off his helmet, throwing it at the Elite, he quickly realized that he now was breathing in deadly toxins and no oxygen and clenched his throat, Jakob grabbed a breathing mask from his belt and pressed it down on the Corporals mouth. Jakob shouted above the gun fire "ABORN! DO IT!" His Sergeant leaned out from behind a crate and fired a rocket down the hall. Jakob quickly unclasped a frag and threw it down. The Elite would have to dodge a plasma grenade, a rocket, gunfire, and a frag.

Olarmi saw the helmet come flying at him and threw his needler at it in mid air and stopped it. he then fell backwards to dodge the rocket. but when the grenade came his grunt beep beep tackled it and layed on it. when it went off it punctured her methane tank which exploded blowing olarmi down the corridor and sent shrapnel down the corridor.

Olarmi opened his eyes to see and ODST standing over him. He ached in his ribs and his thigh was bleeding. Just as Olarmi was about to launch forward and attack the ODST the last two members of his lance burst from around the corridor firing their weapons apon the other humans. while the other humans were busy Olarmi grabbed Jakob's wrist and yanked him down to the ground, but had to loosen his grip for the pain in his wrist.

Lieutenant Jakob Zaborowski |
Jakob winced as the Private with him was cut down, he was about fire his rifle when he was pulled down. His squad mowed down the rest of the grunts with grenades but they could not shoot the Elite because of Jakob being in the way, Jakob on the ground gave a swift kick to the Orlami's thigh and drew his sidearm. He jumped up and fired a clip at the Elites chest.

Olarmi's eyes bulged a little as he was shot in the chest. he looked up at the human and coughed out "Fuck *cough* YOU!" he pressed the activation button on his grenade belt and laughed.

Lieutenant Jakob Zaborowski |
Jakob's eyes widened as he saw the grenades, he jumped behind the closest crate and crawled up into a ball, the explosion sent him tumbling down the hall with the box. Jakob slowly got up and felt his bruised arm, it may have been sprained, but he ignored it. He looked at the bloody alien arm in front of him and knew it was dead, he let out a sigh and spoke publicly. "Bring the dead back to the lift, set up defensive positions to fall back, I want a report on all wounded."

Sergeant Richard Reilly Location: Gravity Lift Room (Feral Platoon in Defense Positions on the Second Floor)
Sergeant Richard Reilly swore loudly “Zaborowski, Don’t worry about the dead now, we need to get that data asap, that’s our primary mission, we have to push on to that objective” he radioed.
The Sergeant had been sent by Captain Hallam to take part in the assault, the two had fought together personally on Arcadia and he had also led the successful counter-attack aboard the Forlorn Hope. He was well apt to warfare in all its forms and he knew how to get the job done.
It wasn’t long before Reilly and his 95th Rifles arrived in the gravity lift, the sergeant quickly spread his men around the large lift room in defensible positions on the second storey. The sergeant approached his senior officer “Sorry Lieutenant, but we need that data, not the dead, I’ve been sent to hold this room, we’ve got your back, you carry on with the assault, more fire teams and more men will come and assist you, now get to it”

Lieutenant Jakob Zaborowski |
Jakob nodded, "Yes sir, but if I may ask, do we know where the data even is? Or are we gonna be walking around till we find it or the Navy bombs us?"

"Good Point Lieutenant" Reilly grinned and tapped him on the shoulder, "You'll go far in the marines" he laughed in a jovial manner.
"Whilst the Spartans are heading for the Bridge, We've been told to try the Holding and Cargo Cells" Reilly stated, nodding to a passing Platoon Leader.
"Team Leaders and Officers will recieve data on their PDA's in the next few minutes" Reilly shouted to the amassing army.
