Its no problem SC, the Real Life unfortunately comes before our awesome fantasy and sci fi ones and I hope despite the recent craziness that its calmed down so you can relax :>

Not on my watch. Sorry to keep you waiting, everyone. I posted a thread about it HERE. Anything related to my absence should be posted there. Let's keep this thread strictly related to the game. To determine how I want to handle proceeding, either by just continuing right where we left off or otherwise, I'd like to take a roll call of who's still here. BetaWülf , Faclan , Seraph , Zenith , Remnant , Huka , LaxKnight , edtosivaree , sound off if you wish to keep playing.

Wow, I wasn't expecting a majority response. Thanks guys, you're the best! I'm so proud to have you as players! At first I was thinking I'd have to just write up a summary of the current sessions and skip right to Chapter 3. (Refresher: Chapters 1 and 2 were the introductions, and the plan for Chapter 3 is for all characters to arrive in town and formally begin your adventure). Which, of course, we could do anyway if you all want. So I'll leave it to you. Would you rather... (OPTION A) Skip right to Chapter 3 for the sake of moving on. Or... (OPTION B) Continue the RP exactly where we left off. Any preferences? Of course. You can start with everyone in Chapter 3. Your character can be strolling into town the same time everyone else arrives, or maybe you're already there and they discover you somehow. Why don't you PM me some character concepts and/or Mythweavers character sheet (see the info thread for details), and we can work something out.

I would not mind trying to finish the current encounters we were in the middle of. But if everyone else wants to skip then I don't mind. Besides, my wizard has a mangy mongrel to get even with.

I'd prefer Option B. I kicked Kytan's ass. Time for the rest of the bandit gang to follow suit.

I'd prefer we finish off the bandits, since it would heavily dictate who arrives at the city on the other side of the bridge and in what state they are in.

Okay, we'll just continue the RP right where we left off then.
Posted for Chapter 1. It took me four hours to write up because I had to re-read the chapter thus far to remember what exactly has been going on, and I also wanted to include a recap of events to jog your memories as well. Plus it always takes me foreeeeever to type out roll results and such.
So, sorry Chapter 2. I'm tired and will get to that later.

I loved the recap. Great job SC! ;D Thanks. I figured we could all use a refresher. Okay, so, Chapter 1. We have Theron and Alder chasing down the wagon, and Gonff trying to buff Alder with Bardic Inspiration again. Here's the thing though, Alder already has that from the first time. He still didn't use it, and it hasn't been ten minutes yet so the spell didn't expire. But... I'm about to make an Athletics check for Theron and Alder to see if they board the wagon. So here's some options to consider. If Beta chooses, he can use his current Bardic Inspiration on this Athletics check now, and then Fac can buff him again right away. This might be useful for confronting Justran on the wagon soon. Or, I'll allow Fac to change the target of this buff to Theron instead. That way he and Alder both have an extra edge just to make extra sure they get onboard the wagon. And I'm sure Fade would appreciate it too. Thoughts, Faclan and BetaWülf ?

Hmm, interesting situation we have here.... I think I will leave the ultimate decision up to Faclan, I would check Theron and Alder's character sheets to see which one has better Athletics but I am at home so crappy internet wont permit me to do so.

Also, I see Beta is online right now so I hope he sees this before he posts.
The rules say you can make the roll first and then decide if you want to use the extra dice granted by Bardic Inspiration, but you must make that choice before the DM makes a ruling. So here's what I have right now, as is. Might help influence who Faclan chooses to buff. Ultimately, he's the one casting the spell so it's his choice.
Strength (Athletics) checks: Alder: (1d20+5) (5) [10] Theron: (1d20+3) (11) [14]
So the question is, who thinks they need an extra d6?

XD I have the lower score, but I wouldn't be offended if Theron gets the boost since that would basically be as close as we can get to an ace in the hole as it were. But yeah, ultimately up to Fac, not sure I either me or Fade really "needs it" needs it but it definitely couldn't hurt.
