Petty Officer 1st Class Richard A. Chen ONI Section III Field Operative "Panther" March, 2548 - 0338 hours Aboard “Rich Man’s Paradise,” Unknown Space, Inner Colonies "Negotiations"(Tags: Faclan & Llau ) Chen could hear Moretti muttering under his breath with what sounded like the Italian language. Chen always had a thing for identifying what kind of language was being spoken based on the dialect, but being this quiet, there was no way he would be able to translate. The Lieutenant Commander then started to mutter in English. Chen could’ve sworn he saw him placing the muzzle of the pistol under his chin which caused Chen to tighten his grip around the door handle and his own pistol, but he eased himself when Moretti's pistol swung away from his chin towards his lap. “ What are we supposed to do?” Agent Hyde asked. “ Wait,” Chen replied in a hushed tone. “ If we barge in now, either one of us could get shot if he gets startled. His head is not might not be in the ideal state to judge what’s real and what’s not.” Chen continued observing the older Field Agent using his TAC-PAD. Moretti slid downwards from his seated position into a fetal-like position and whispered something that sent a small chill down Chen’s spine. “ Help me…” Moretti muttered in a barely audible whisper. The Lieutenant Commander started to crawl towards the door like drunk serviceman on New Year's Eve. When Moretti arrived at the other side of the door, he suddenly yanked Chen’s optical cable which caused the TAC-PAD to slide into the door, emitting a hammer-like report, and the video feed filled with static for a few seconds before the screen cleared up and returned to normal. “ Help me before I blow my brains out, you asshole,” Chen heard Moretti straining through the semi-thick steel door. “ Fffffuck...” Moretti released Chen’s optical cable and then leaned back slightly so the camera could pick up his movements. Shortly after, the older Field Agent jammed his pistol into his chin and yelled out, “ I’m not fucking around!” Chen swiftly retrieved his TAC-PAD and returned it his wrist mount; disregarding if the optic camera was damaged or not. Well, that was the least of his worries at the moment. He could ask the Lieutenant Commander to pay for any damages when he’s better than his current condition. Shortly after, Hyde barged into the bathroom which caused Chen to follow him abruptly after with his pistol acquiring center-mass of Moretti’s chest. Hyde stopped halfway in the center of the room and knelt and Chen stopped near the door and had his back against the wall adjacent to where Moretti was kneeling. The ONI Scientist said to Moretti, "That’s what we're all here for Mike. Helping you no matter what the issue is. But remember you also help us. You help Renny and all of us stay alive in this crazy universe. She’s always here for you, as are Chen and myself and your funny grandparents with their food stuffing ways. All of us here for you, Mike. You don’t need to do this alone.” “ You can start by putting the gun down, sir. Nice and slowly. Then tell us how we can help. Is there any meds you need? A solution to your problem? Because we don’t know what’s wrong with you as of now, sir,” Chen added. His pistol was still aimed at Moretti’s chest while keeping a close eye on his trigger finger to see if the Lieutenant Commander’s finger was about to enter the trigger guard of the M6C. Chen breathing was controlled and was taking long inhales and exhales to steady his aim and heart-rate. If he could shoot the pistol out of Moretti's hand, he would, but it was a bad angle and the resulting rounding would make Moretti shoot himself in the throat. Bad idea. Chen then transitioned back and forth from the chest and forehead to decide whether he should fire the stun round to the head, which would be an immediate K.O., or risk shooting center mass which wouldn't do much, but knock Moretti on his ass. Chen's hands shifted slightly to obtain better grip of his pistol and waited.

Lieutenant Commander Michelangelo N. Moretti ONI Section III Field Officer - “Ombra” March, 2548 – 0339 hours Aboard “Rich Man's Paradise” Unknown Space, Inner Colonies Just shoot me Tag(s): Faclan , SPARTAN-A120 (OOC: And we're back. Lol Let's finish this.) The sudden opening of the bathroom door startled him somewhat, as his whole body tensed, and his wide eyes stared directly at Hyde as the xeno-linguist walked over to crouch in front of him. Still holding the gun underneath his chin, he relaxed a little, but not so much as his eyes shifted over to Chen, who entered behind Hyde, before standing off to the side, where Chen had a better aim at the Lieutenant Commander. When Hyde started to speak to Moretti, the Italian's eyes quickly focused back onto his friend. "That's what we're all here for Mike. Helping you no matter what the issue is. But remember you also help us. You help Renny and all of us stay alive in this crazy universe. Shes always here for you, as are Chen and myself and your funny grandparents with their food stuffing ways. All of us are here for you man." Moretti looked down, still keeping the gun on himself, but grimaced as the pain in his head still didn't seem to go away. "All of us here to help you Mike, you don't need to do this alone."He gradually shook his head, and then glanced up at Chen when the field agent spoke to him. “You can start by putting the gun down, sir. Nice and slowly. Then tell us how we can help. Is there any meds you need? A solution to your problem? Because we don’t know what’s wrong with you as of now, sir.”“I...I don't know...” He said forcefully, “I don't know why...this happens...it shouldn't even be happening right now while I'm on duty like this...” He panted, wincing some more as he looked down, lowering his gun hand to the floor. “It shouldn't have...” He chuckled lightly in disbelief, shaking his head slowly. “It feels like someone is drilling into my head...”He looked up at Chen for a moment. “I'd tell you to use the stun rounds on me, but, your best bet would be putting me in a sleeper hold to knock me out that way. It'll be quicker and works better...” he managed a small smile, though clearly forced. “Besides, I wouldn't want you to mess up my good looks.” While adding as his smile faded into a grim look, “Hurry up, Chen. That's an order.” He gave him a reassuring nod as he straightened up a little as he was readying himself for it. “Once you put me asleep, just inform the doctor on the Prowler what happened, and he can handle the rest once I wake up in the medical room.” He shrugged his shoulders, sliding his gun away from him, and near Hyde. He looked up at Hyde, and rested a hand on his friend's shoulder to let him know he'll be okay. "Sorry, man..." He whispered. A wince. "You're right...with what you said..."

Tags; Llau SPARTAN-A120 Nek Dal - T'vaoan TranslatorAboard Captain Gaz's vessel Bleeding FistThis is why instructions need to be in pictures... "Repeat that again for me Nek?"Rubbing his eyes for a few seconds Nek just nodded as he looked back down at the manual that Gaz's crew had found in one of the Nuke boxes. It was in English so Gaz had told him to translate it for his crew so they could use it when the time came. But it was hard to focus when one of the seven nukes was out of its box and sitting right next to him on the table. "It says 'when time comes to detonate the warhead, either send the unit the pre designated detonate code by radio'.""Do we have those?" Flipping through the stapled together packet of sheets Nek shook his head as the Ruuthian, Gaz's Tech Vai, beside him frowned but wrote it down in the Kiggle written language anyway. " 'OR initiate manual detonation'. It then has a big warning across the page that this can only be done when right beside the unit. So I really doubt you would have time to get away unless you had a dropship standing by.""Thats not our problem is it Nek? We're not the ones who would be doing...whatever you need to do - so what do they need to do?"Both Kig-Yar looked up as two of the raiders walked passed with the still bound up Tun and Bar hoisted over their shoulders as they headed down to the small hanger to get some tools to cut the plastic ties around their hands and feet. The female T'vaoan holding Tun smirking and taking the free chance to get a feel of that Ruuthian rump, causing Tun to squawk and wriggle on her shoulders - but she and the crew around just laughed as the procession kept walking. Cap'n Gaz himself overseeing the crew in space suits with magnetic clamps currently going through the dead Human vessel they were still attached too. Seeing if they could get it working again and getting rid of the Human bodies out one of the airlocks. Everyone else back on the Fist either eating, looking over the loot they had managed to grab, or being healed up like the T'vaoan Raid Leader. Clearing his throat Nek took a drink before just continuing, wanting this to be done so they could leave and head back to where his own ship was supposed to meet him. " 'To initiate manual detonation, the two handles on the side of the unit must be pulled down, then turned in alternating directions - clockwise for right and counter clockwise for left - and then pushed into the unit. At this time the unit should beep to let the user know that it is armed. At this point a time is set on the keypad and then confirmed'," Nek pointing out the keypad to the Ruuthian who just nodded and kept writing with a note on that. " 'Up to ninety nine minutes and sixty seconds, hitting 1 3 3 7 will cause the unit to detonate immediately.' Well at least they had to courtesy to include that in these instructions.""Do they say how to turn it off?"Quickly looking up to make sure that the handles were still upright Nek relaxed a bit before skimming through the packet for that information as Gaz's crew kept up with their own tasks. ---------------------- Chris Hyde - ONI Section I Agent ONI rescue craft Yay? Visibly relaxing as Mike set the pistol on the floor Chris, after glancing back at Chen, started to reach for it since he was closer than the Field Agent, but then stopped when Mike started to talk. Talking was good, but what he was saying wasn't that good. This sure didn't sound like anything normal, especially for a Tactical Field Officer of Mikes caliber...sure Mike would love to hear that Hyde thought. But at least he was telling them this and not trying to bottle it up? That was good right? Moving aside as Mike stood up Chris just nodded as he ummmed a bit as Mike told Chen to make him sleep. "Is that really needed Mike? Can't you just sit down and take it easy?...But I guess you would know best. And its fine man, I just like having you around ya know - ya big blur." Hyde probably looks very different to Mike without his glasses now that seemed to have calmed down. "To save my life from those Innies." He said, patting Mikes hand that was on his shoulder before moving aside and stooping down to pick up the pistol and click its safety on as he took a breath and looked back at Chen and Mike. "Are we nearly back? I think all of us could use a rest - and maybe Mike could get some professional help...and then a brain doctor." He added, trying to smile at the small joke. (I think Chris has heard about this before Sheep, lemme know if nah.)

Petty Officer 1st Class Richard A. ChenONI Section III Field Operative "Panther"March, 2548 - 0342 hoursAboard “Rich Man’s Paradise,” Unknown Space, Inner Colonies"Call a Doctor"(Tags Llau & Faclan ) “I...I don't know...” Chen heard Moretti say. “I don't know why...this happens...it shouldn't even be happening right now while I'm on duty like this...” The Lieutenant Commander breathed in a heavy manner before he lowered his weapon to the floor. “It shouldn't have...” he said with a chuckle with a slow shake of his head slowly. “It feels like someone is drilling into my head...” Moretti looked up at Chen before he continued, “I'd tell you to use the stun rounds on me, but, your best bet would be putting me in a sleeper hold to knock me out that way. It'll be quicker and works better...” he managed a small smile, though clearly forced. “Besides, I wouldn't want you to mess up my good looks.” While adding as his smile faded into a grim look, “Hurry up, Chen. That's an order.” The older ONI Operator nodded with reassurance and positioned himself so that Chen could put him into a sleeper hold. Chen stood there with the most confused look on his face that he can muster since this was one of the most confusing moments in his mission history. The Petty Officer slowly lowered the weapon of his own and it eventually made its way into his hip holster, but his right hand was still keeping physical contact with the pistol grip just for safety and security. Moretti continued shortly after Chen holstered his weapon. “Once you put me asleep, just inform the doctor on the Prowler what happened, and he can and slid his gun away from him towards Agent Hyde. Agent Hyde glanced back towards Chen before he started to reach for the pistol, but was stopped in his tracks when the Lieutenant Commander spoke to him. Moretti looked up at Hyde, and rested a hand on his shoulder before speaking to him in a whisper, "Sorry, man... You're right...with what you said..." "Is that really needed Mike? Can't you just sit down and take it easy?...But I guess you would know best. And its fine man, I just like having you around ya know - ya big blur. To save my life from those Innies," Hyde replied while patting Moretti's hand with as a friendly gesture before he stepped to the side to pick up the pistol and switched it to 'Safe.' Chen was silent throughout the entire conversation. He didn't have anything to say. It was obvious that the two individuals standing in front of him were friends with a history even Chen didn't know about until know. He learnt multiple things from this short time period. One of them being Moretti having a daughter and two being Moretti and his mental illness of some sort. This mental illness was unknown to Chen. On the other hand, he doubted if it was a mental illness at all. Maybe he could gather some information from one of the medical personnel on the Prowler when they arrived. The ONI Scientist looked at both Moretti and Chen before he spoke again. "Are we nearly back? I think all of us could use a rest - and maybe Mike could get some professional help...and then a brain doctor," Hyde said with a smile, intending the last comment to be a joke. The Petty Officer checked his watch and frowned a bit as he calculated the time in his head. When he got the calculations within a brief pause, he said, " E-T-A one hour and twenty two minutes. I can speed up the ship's autopilot so we'll be there in half the time." He looked over at Moretti and walked behind him. Without warning, Chen wrapped his right arm around the Lieutenant Commander's throat and connected his left arm to wrap around the back of his neck and tightened immediately. Chen leaned back slightly to compensate for Moretti's weight when he was rendered unconscious. When Moretti did go unconscious, Chen released his tight sleeper hold to avoid damaging his superior's brain from the deprivation of oxygen and picked up the motionless body with a fireman's carry towards the medical bay which was located deeper to the rear of the ship. He carefully laid the unconscious Lieutenant Commander onto one of the many beds and opened a sterile syringe from its package. After doing so, he filled the syringe with enough sedative to last for an additional 30 minutes so Moretti would not wake up during the ride to the Prowler and cause additional problems. Chen slowly eased the syringe's needle into the side of Moretti's neck and squeezed the trigger. The quiet hiss of the syringe was all he heard before the contents of the syringe slowly emptied into Moretti's blood stream. He then set up a few machines to monitor the bios of the sleeping officer. "That's all she wrote," Chen muttered. He then went to Hyde and said, " You stay in the MedBay with the Lieutenant Commander and act as security. Should he wake up before we get to the Prowler, let me know. If anything goes wrong with his bio readings, let me know. I need to tend to the ship. Don't want to hit space debris because autopilot is not that smart." Chen then took the M6C from Hyde's hand and switched out the 12.7x40mm M228 Semi-Armor-Piercing High-Penetration rounds with stun rounds from his own magazine pouch and handed it back to the ONI Scientist with a serious facial expression before saying, " I'm sure you know how to shoot." The Petty Officer then walked back to the front of the ship, sat in the pilot's seat, disengaged the autopilot system, and sped the ship up while he rubbed the back of his neck with his right hand to loosen the tension.

Lieutenant Commander Michelangelo N. Moretti ONI Section III Field Officer - “Ombra” March, 2548 – 0342 hours Aboard “Rich Man's Paradise” Unknown Space, Inner Colonies Sleepy time Tag(s): Faclan , SPARTAN-A120 "Is that really needed Mike? Can't you just sit down and take it easy?...But I guess you would know best. And its fine man, I just like having you around ya know - ya big blur."Moretti slowly shook his head, and whispered to Hyde, “ I don't trust myself to just sit down and take it easy...” He managed a smile. “ Well, it's nice to know someone cares about me.” "Are we nearly back? I think all of us could use a rest - and maybe Mike could get some professional help...and then a brain doctor."He grinned a little at Hyde. “ A brain doctor, huh? Great...so looking forward to telling my mother about this shit...she is a neurologist, and you know that.” A pause as he gazed at his friend with a puzzled look. “ I think.” He couldn't remember. "E-T-A one hour and twenty two minutes. I can speed up the ship's autopilot so we'll be there in half the time."The Lieutenant Commander glanced over at Chen when the man answered Hyde's question on how long it would be until they returned to the Prowler. He then took a few deep breaths as Chen went to stand behind him to ready himself, and then he suddenly felt the Petty Officer wrap his right arm around his throat and his left behind his neck and tightened immediately. He's been placed in a sleeper hold more than once when he trains, and every time, he braced himself to keep himself calm. It took every ounce of him to not try to fight back and struggle with the younger field agent, and just let it pass. It was all about trusting someone, and trust was hard to come by these days. This, of course, was the only way he could think of that could possibly help him at the moment of time. He'll wake up later...hopefully. Instinctively, he did try to struggle a little as he struggled for air that was being neglected from his lungs, but it didn't take long for everything to blur and eventually his vision blackened as he lost consciousness just before his body went limp in Chen's arms into a welcoming sleep he desperately was seeking to have in order to escape. ((OOC: Maybe I'll have Mike wake up for a little bit while he's in the back of the med-bay with Chris before falling back to sleep...they can talk about what's going on with him a little more perhaps. The plot thickens! Also. Feel free to time-skip to the Prowler after Chicken and you post, 120. I'll NPC the doctor, and have Mike wake up -again- in the Prowler's med-bay during that time too.)

Chris Hyde - ONI Section I Agent ONI rescue craft Hey sleepy head.
Nodding at the estimated time of re-arrival at...whatever ship was going to pick them up. Hyde now realizing that he hadn't asked about that. Oh well, he trusted both of the proper Field Operatives to have a plan in motion for all of this. "Both will work I'm sure...up to you in the end Chen. And I'm sure she'll give you a real telling off Mike for your little episode." He then looked away as Mike was made to go nap time as he didn't really want to see that happen to his friend. But he did follow along like a good little duck when Chen moved Mike into the small medbay and just nodded when he was told that he was going to be spending the trip beside Mike to look over him. Fairly standard stuff but he was also relieved when Chen replaced the rounds in the pistol with stunners. Good if he had to use it and even better if Mike woke up in another kind of crazy mood and grabbed it from him...the Section I really sure that Mike would still be able to grab it from him even if half asleep.
"I can shoot yeah, Mike took me to the range a few times when I wasn't message decoding." And with that he was left alone with the drugged up Mike in the medbay...well Chris knew what he was going to do first!
----Time passage woosh---- (Probably around an hour and ten minutes, so bout ten mins left)
After cleaning off his face from all the grime and blood from captivity and getting himself some rations and water Hyde had spent the time listening to the audio taken by the two Operatives during their mission. While typing, guh computers, on a barrow tac-pad to note down how the Kig-Yar sounded when not being pressed to speak in their own language and in English. Hyde using some headphones so as to not disturb Mike. But just as Mike was starting to come around he would eventually find he wasn't the only occupant of the medical bed anymore. Hyde - who had been sitting beside the bed, had flopped forward and was now half in the chair with his head on the bed. Arms thankfully under his head and headphones still on his head. But the poor Civvy was all tuckered out. Tired and wanting of rest after his Innie Capture.
Hopefully Mike was in a good mood when he woke up.

Petty Officer 1st Class Richard A. Chen ONI Section III Field Operative "Panther" March, 2548 - 0452 hours Aboard ONI Black Cat-class Subprowler "Raven 3," Unknown Space, Inner Colonies "Access Denied"( Tags: Llau & Faclan) "I can shoot yeah, Mike took me to the range a few times when I wasn't message decoding," Chen heard before he left Hyde alone with the unconscious Lieutenant Commander. "A few times better mean at least twenty," Chen thought. The Petty Officer put on the headset and switched the knob of the radio frequency for the secure channel between the ship and the ONI Subprowler, codenamed "Raven 3." "Panther to Raven 3. Panther to Raven 3. Do you copy?" Chen said as he keyed the mic. There was nothing, but silence. "Panther to Raven 3. Panther to Raven 3. Do you copy?" Chen repeated. This time he clicked the transmission button five times. "This is Raven 3. Verify yourself. What is today's crash code?" a voice finally responded from the other line. "Crash code is Drooling Panda," Chen replied. "What is the color of the day?" "Violet." "What is the miscellaneous noun of the day?" "Wooden Soldier." "Alright Panther, requesting status." "Status is as follows: We have two packages and they're banged up, but safe and secure. We have one precious cargo with a first class express stamp, one sleeping Ombra that requires medical, and the seven footballs have been successfully transferred. We are currently enroute back to the Raven's Nest. E-T-A forty minutes. How copy?" "Good copy, Panther. We'll have baggage handlers on standby for your arrival." "Copy that, Panther out." ***** Chen had shed every tactical gear he had on him except for his battle belt which held his essentials; pistol, knife, four extra magazines for the pistol, a flashlight, two pairs of flexi-cuffs, an individual first aid kit, a lock-pick set, and a multi-tool. He kept his tactical glasses on, but rested them above his forehead with the power off. The Field Operative was not too concerned with his hygiene as he didn't participate in much combat action so his scentless deodorant was probably still working. He was relieved to be in a non-hostile environment unless it was the Captain's quarters. After washing his face and hands, he went to his duffle bag to retrieve a bottle of water and accessed his own MRE stash of his favorite meal item out of the entire package: Double Fudge Chocolate Protein Bar. He always left a few of them in his duffle as a snack item and they were surely filling with its high protein and fiber content. Best of all, they only had five grams of fat and twenty grams of carbohydrates. As he snacked, a few armed ONI Security Team members passed him and he found Jenny, the unconscious Innie leader, being carried down in a stretcher by two of them. She was still asleep, but not for long as she will be rudely awoken by a few interrogators. "Sleeping beauty ain't gonna find Prince Charming to kiss her awake because it'll be a taser and some water boarding," Chen said to himself. He stored the duffle bag back into his temporary locker and made his way to the MedBay. With a half-eaten protein bar in his right hand and his water bottle in his left leg's cargo pocket, he attempted to bypass the guard that was posted at the MedBay's entrance, but the guard stopped him in his tracks. "You can't come in here with that," the guard bluntly said, addressing the protein bar that Chen held. "Good job for doing your job," Chen garbled through a chuck of the snack bar that occupied half of his mouth. The Petty Officer stepped to the right of the guard and downed the rest of the protein bar for a couple of minutes. He then disposed the wrapper in a nearby trash bin and entered the MedBay without the interference of the guard besides giving Chen a frown and eyeballed him until he left his field of view. "Odd fellow," Chen thought. The Field Operative had made it to the section where Moretti was and saw Hyde sitting at the side of the Lieutenant Commander's bed and had his back towards Chen, but the Petty Officer was stopped by a doctor. Chen looked over at Hyde, but the scientist had headphones on so he doubted that the bearded man would able to hear the commotion behind him. " Sorry, Agent. I can't let you in here at this time," the doctor said after physically blocking Chen's path into the room. " Not this again... what is it now? The water bottle?" Chen asked with slight irritation. (OOC: RPed the Doctor, Llau. From here, the doc is all yours. I don't think Hyde would be able to hear with the headphones on )

Lieutenant Commander Michelangelo N. Moretti ONI Section III Field Officer - “Ombra” March, 2548 – 0452 hours Aboard ONI Black Cat-class Subprowler "Raven 3," Unknown Space, Inner Colonies
Tag(s): Faclan , SPARTAN-A120 Moretti managed to wake up an hour later before they arrived at the Prowler's location. He was still feeling the effects of the sedative Chen injected him with to make him sleep, and he felt like he wanted to fall asleep again. He grunted and groaned, eyelids fluttering a few times until his eyes were used to the light inside the med-bay. Of course, his vision was kind of blurry and he was so groggy and dazed, that he really couldn't focus correctly like he wanted to. His mind was also cloudy, but he figured he was laying on one of the beds after he ordered the Petty Officer to choke him out to escape that horrible pain inside his head and his whole body. Not only the pain, but the high-pitched ringing inside of his head. His eyes fluttered closed for a few minutes, relieved that what caused him to be here had disappeared enough that it was at a more comfortable level. He gritted his teeth somewhat, cringing when he felt a wave of pain move throughout his body, but with the sedative, it didn't seem like it lasted long. His pained expression faded, and he started to relax, while he listened to the medical machines inside the room that were on to check his vitals. He breathed in a sigh, and his eyelids parted again, and he looked around until he saw Hyde sitting beside the bed, plopped over with his head resting over his arms on the bedside. He figured his friend would be exhausted, and was glad the xino-linguist was getting some rest. The Italian lain awake for a few moments before painstakingly sitting up in the bed with a slight grown. He sat there quietly, panting a little as he closed his eyes again before opening them to look at the instruments stuck to his chest, and reached up to feel that there was one stuck to the side of his forehead to monitor his brainwaves. He glanced over to his side, where Hyde was at, and noticed a bottled water sitting on a table. He reached over slowly and took it. Unscrewing the cap very slowly, like some man who had one too many glasses of strong alcohol, he managed to open it to drink enough sips of the cool water to remove the cotton mouth he woke up with. Once he was finished, he screwed the cap back on and put it back onto the table. He sat there, with his head bowed and arms resting on his lap, and eyes closed once again for a couple of minutes. He then glanced over to Hyde again, and then lightly patted the man's hand before slowly plopping back down to sleep; eyelids closing involuntarily. ///****\\\ Doctor Arvid Svesson, A Swedish middle-aged man with an extensive background in the military and a doctor who currently works with ONI, walked onto the Rich Man's Paradise when it finally arrived. He wanted to check on the Lieutenant Commander before he had them take him out to be placed in the Prowler's med bay for further treatment and further observation. Ignoring the sleeping scientist at Moretti's bedside, he examined his patient; checking the state of Moretti's pupils as he peeled back both eyelids one at a time and turned on his pin light, and then starting checking the rest of the sleeping officer's vitals before typing the data down onto his DATA-PAD the doctor carried with him. He sighed. This would be better if Moretti was awake, but he figured the man would soon wake up; perhaps before they even bring him off of the transport ship and into the doctor's med bay. Right now, he will have to ask the one under Moretti's command the questions he wanted to ask. For a moment, he ignored the commotion outside of the room, but then looked up from his DATA-PAD to see Chen starting to enter. Frowning, he lowered the pad to his side, and headed over to block the Section Three Field Operator from entering. After telling him he couldn't enter at this time, he sighed in annoyance at the operator's question. “ What a ridiculous question to ask, Petty Officer,” he replied, “ No. I just don't want you in here at this time, so I can concentrate on examining the Lieutenant Commander before I have personnel take him to my med bay. One person is enough, and he's more out of it than your commanding officer.” While adding, “ You can stay there in the doorway for the time being, while I ask you questions.” Doctor Svesson returned to Moretti's bedside, and continued with his task. A couple of minutes passed, and he finished checking all of the tactical field officer's vitals. Next, he read the rather vague report he was given about OMBRA's situation. Hmm. “ All right, Petty Officer Chen,” He glanced over at him. “ Start from the top for me. Give me the details of what exactly happened, and when it happened. Leave nothing out.” Although, it seemed like he already knew the answers, but pretended to not know, and was only asking to see how much Chen knew. He didn't seem all too worried about Hyde though during the discussion; considering he saw that Hyde had headphones on and listening to something. He certainly didn't seem like he cared about the Lieutenant Commander either, and seemed like he was treating Moretti more like a test subject than an actual patient. Typical ONI, right? Acting as shady as everyone else who worked in the division. By this point, Moretti was gradually trying to wake up, rather sluggishly, at first. It wouldn't be long until he was awake and more aware with what was going on.

Chris Hyde - ONI Section I Agent Rich Man's Paradise in Raven 3's Hanger Sneaky?
Mmmpblarging quietly when Mike poked at his hand Chris slowly opened his eyes and then took a moment to remember where he was. On the ONI rescue ship with Mike? Supposed to make sure Mike was still alright? Grunting he pushed himself up a bit to look over at his best friend and saw that he was just drifting off to sleep again. Rubbing his eyes and then nodding when he still felt things he confirmed for himself he wasn't dead and Mike was still there and not covered in blood so good there too. Glancing at the bedside table where his glasses and case should have been...before they were smashed by the fucking Innies Chris shrugged and plopped back down into a sleeping position again. Still really tired from the capture and holding but at least he was happy now that it seemed to be over. Soon he could have a real shower and a full bed to sleep in for a day or two.
---------------
But he did wake up again when more talking started, Hyde not moving but still breathing normally so it would seem like nothing had changed as he kept looking at the bed right below his face. Thank goodness that he didn't snore. But the Doctor was correct that Chris was indeed listening to something. With a little movement of his right hand that was folded under his head he tapped a button on the side of the headset, the left which was facing away from the doctor, and the conversation from the outside started to come into his ears crystal clear.
Who says the nerd cant try to be a super sneaky secret agent?
And with that done Hyde let his hand flop back to the bed and continued the charade of sleep. It didn't seem to bad now really, just asking what happened. That seemed normal...but something about this just didn't feel like a routine inspection. Or if the Doctor cared about Mike. He spoke about...well all of what he said with such a monotone detachment it was kind of creepy.

Petty Officer 1st Class Richard A. Chen ONI Section III Field Operative "Panther" March, 2548 - 0458 hours Aboard ONI Black Cat-class Subprowler "Raven 3," Unknown Space, Inner Colonies "Recalling the Past"( Tags: Llau & Faclan ) “What a ridiculous question to ask, Petty Officer,” the doctor replied, “No. I just don't want you in here at this time, so I can concentrate on examining the Lieutenant Commander before I have personnel take him to my med bay. One person is enough, and he's more out of it than your commanding officer. You can stay there in the doorway for the time being, while I ask you questions.” Chen frowned a bit before the doctor returned to check on the Lieutenant Commander to finish running a few tests. The Petty Officer managed to catch a glimpse of the doctor's name tag before he turned. "Doctor Svesson," Chen said mentally. He never heard of the name before, but he did attempt to commit the name to memory for future references. It took a few minutes for Doctor Svesson to finish the procedural medical examinations, but Chen's patience was solid. It was one of the reasons why he's still alive. The younger Field Operative was casually waiting at the entrance to the Med bay with his right shoulder leaning against the door and with both arms crossed. The doctor hummed a bit before he reinitiated the conversation with Chen. “All right, Petty Officer Chen...” Svesson glanced over at Chen before continuing “Start from the top for me. Give me the details of what exactly happened, and when it happened. Leave nothing out.” Chen uncrossed his armed and lightly pushed himself off the door frame he was leaning on. His hands found their way into his hips with his left hand being planted over his spare pistol magazines and his right hand unintentionally touching the back of his pistol's pistol grip. His stance was nearly intimidating, but it was part Chen's subconscious behavior when he was recalling memories. The Petty Officer took a few seconds to look around, took a brief glimpse at Hyde who seemed to have fallen asleep, and then closed the door behind him before starting. "At roughly Zero-Three-Thirty (0330) hours, Lieutenant Commander Moretti suffered an extreme headache or some type of intense, agonizing pain occurring on his head. I immediately checked his B-P-M and found it abnormally high at one-thirty-seven (137). Before I could run further examinations on Moretti, he jumped out his seat and seemed dazed and confused. His perception of reality became clouded and his judgment became impaired." Chen stopped for a brief time before he continued. This time, he initiated a slow pace back and forth; perpendicular to the doctor and the rest of the occupants of the Med bay. "At zero-three-thirty-four (0334), he started bleeding from a nostril... the left one. Following that, he vomited. From this point, I thought it was a brain hemorrhage from an earlier combat engagement, but he showed no signs of bleeding from his eyes and ears. Only a nose bleed. The Lieutenant Commander soon became suicidal and displayed hints of insanity." Chen stopped pacing and crossed his arms. " Moretti locked himself in the bathroom and attempted to commit suicide at zero-three-thirty-six (0336) with his M6S. He also laughed a few times. At this point, the Lieutenant Commander was sweating profusely with the apparent signs of pain. Agent Hyde managed to talk Moretti out of committing suicide and he eventually disarmed himself at zero-three-thirty-eight (0338). A minute after, he ordered me to put him to sleep which I did by performing a traditional sleeper chokehold. The chokehold was enough to keep him unconscious for at least fifteen minutes, but I later added a thirty minute sedative to help him sleep for a total of forty five minutes to keep him stabilized for the ride back here." Chen paused again for a moment, but kept his arms crossed. "His vitals and bios were set-up in case something went wrong. Fortunately, his vitals and bios dropped back to normal after putting him to sleep. And here we are. Is that all the information you need, Doc?"

Lieutenant Commander Michelangelo N. Moretti ONI Section III Field Officer - “Ombra” March, 2548 – 0460 hours Aboard ONI Black Cat-class Subprowler "Raven 3," Unknown Space, Inner Colonies I'm Not Crazy... Tag(s): Faclan , SPARTAN-A120 (Finally posted in this after so long. I know you two understand, but still, sorreh. Dx Hopefully we can finish this soon, guys. :3 ) Doctor Svesson quickly tapped away at his DATA-PAD, as if he was in a chat with someone on the other end; which he was. He glanced up a little at Chen as the field agent explained to him what happened with Moretti, and continued to type away as soon as he was given the information. He was silent as he paid attention, but an expression colder than ice – which was mistaken for concentration often. Once Chen was finished, he continued typing away, but seemingly slower until he eventually stopped for the time being. “Not quite, Petty Officer Chen,” Doctor Svesson responded, “I have one more.” He lowered the pad somewhat, and his sharp gray eyes peered over at the Petty Officer. “Did the Lieutenant Commander say anything during this...episode of his?” The Italian's eyelids fluttered open, shut, and then opened again. He grimaced somewhat, as all the lights in the med bay were on, instead of a few. He blinked a few times until his eyes were used to the brighter light, and then tried to focus. Scanning his eyes around, he first saw Chen standing there, looking on, while Hyde was still sleeping - or so he thought. Moretti's eyebrows furrowed slightly, looking slightly confused, while gazing over at the doctor. While the doctor waited for Chen's answer, he glanced down once again to the DATA-PAD after hearing a quiet beep, and typed to the one he was speaking to, and continued the conversation. If only Hyde or Chen knew what was really going on. Doctor Svesson ended the conversation for now, and set the DATA-PAD down onto a table where he had a medical bag sitting on. While he was busy taking a pack of six new syringes out of their packages and setting them neatly onto a tray, he hummed quietly to himself. He checked a vial of a light blue-colored liquid he was going to use to inject the Tactical Field Officer with. Upon closer examination, as he lifted each syringe to fill them with the liquid, the hypodermic needles were both long and thin - specifically made for the brain and spine. While he was busy with that, he was completely unaware that Moretti was staring right at him. The Lieutenant Commander stared with wide eyes. He was quickly both alert, but also with growing anxiety and fear the more he realized who this doctor was. In the back of his mind, he was remembering being stuck in a medium-sized room when he was a child, and then a teenager later, and then...an adult; wearing all white garbs, similar to a prison or a hospital uniform. He sat in the corner of one side of the room on a sleek, light-blue floor that was always cold to the touch. It was some kind of prison cell...there was a bed, a toilet, and a small sink across from him, and a heavy steel door with a viewing window, where people in black and lab coats would walk in. Above him, on a second level, there was a large examining window with seating behind it...he remembered there were sometimes a group of people with lab coats, watching him and typing away on their damn DATA-PADS. He couldn't remember their faces...they were mostly blurry, but...his – Doctor Svesson. His face was clear. Not because the man was up in that viewing room. No. He was down here, with him, inside the cell. Not alone either. Always being escorted into the cell by a couple of guards. The doctor talked to him, asked him questions, and never cared. He was cold like the rest of them. And then...he grimaced for a few seconds, looking down as the painful memories felt like fire. It was a flashback of...experiments? Torture? Were these real? It certainly felt like it, and the more he remembered about the painful memories his mind has somehow forgotten, the more he was convinced they were real. It really did happen to him. He grimaced some more, clutching at his head, as if to try and make them stop. He slowly returned his gaze at Doctor Svesson, and the fear that went to agony, had been replaced with anger, but the fear was still there. He then seemed like he was having a panic attack. He reached up and started to pull off the monitoring equipment from his chest and head, and then the IV out of his arm, while his pulse continued to quicken, and his breathing was labored and heavy. He struggled to quickly get out of the bed, and stumbled backward against the equipment, as he kept his eyes on the Doctor, who was now looking right at him – not really surprised by this. “Lieutenant Commander Moretti...please...relax, and we'll take you back to my med bay, where I can treat you, and where you can relax as we return to Reach,” he calmly said, “All right?” “What are you doing here?” Moretti demanded, backing into the corner, and glared at him with wild eyes for a moment, as he glanced over to the doorway, and then back at him. “Why are you bloody here?!” “I'm...Doctor Svesson...the doctor who is stationed on this Prowler...I'm not going to hurt you - “ “BULLSHIT!” Moretti snapped. "That's bollocks, and you fucking know it!" “Su - “ He stopped, smiling a little, when he caught himself in time before saying 'Subject' and the code that would have followed it. “Lieutenant Commander Moretti...please...calm down...just sit and relax for a moment or two, and then, we can - ” “Fuck off, arsehole,” he growled. Moretti glanced down at Hyde and then over at Chen desperately. He then said to the Petty Officer, “Keep him. Away from me.” He tilted his head a little, looking even more desperate. " Chen. That's a direct order from your Superior Officer." Oh. If only Moretti knew that Svesson was a Commander with ONI, and not a civilian attache...

Chris Hyde - ONI Section I Agent Rich Man's Paradise in Raven 3's Hanger There doin things.
It was a boring time laying there as Chen, in true spook fashion, listed off all the things that had happened on their flight back. With timestamps no less too. Chris couldn't imagine having to keep track of that the entire time but then again maybe Chen had just watched to listened to a recording of the event later and got the time stamps there. Still Jesus.
He did his best to keep up the act however; breathing steadily, head down on his arms that were on the bed, and headphones on. The Kiggle conversation he was listening too earlier though had finished and Hyde was doing his best to keep listening to all that was going on. He was annoyed however that Chen never said this Docs name out loud. That would have been good to know at least for later for a bit of newbie searching of the holo net. None of this still sat well with him. But Hyde kept up the charade until he felt the bed he was resting on shift around pretty violently. And then he rather foolishly sat up almost immediately. Probably giving the doc a good idea that he had been awake before then. The perils of being just a Civilian in a Special Agent world.
The headset fell down to his shoulders to lay against the back of his neck as he looked at the somewhat blurry outline of the doc at the foot of Mikes bed. Unfortunate he still had no glasses and so couldn't try to remember a definitive face. But he could at least listen as Mike and this Doctor...Svesson, gota remember that, talked and were soon shouting at each other a touch. Getting up off the chair he had been sitting on he moved up the bed toward Mike as he tried to get a handle on the situation.
"Mike, man, whats wrong? Err...ummm," he fished around in his head for something good to say. "Didn't think you were this terrified of the doctors office." He said, just remembering in time that Mike was a no touchy sort as he stood beside his friend.
(No Nek bit in this post, may add in one next post with Gazs' sweetheart showing up.)

Petty Officer 1st Class Richard A. Chen ONI Section III Field Operative "Panther" March, 2548 - 0503 hours Aboard ONI Black Cat-class Subprowler "Raven 3," Unknown Space, Inner Colonies “The Odds Outweigh the Even”(Tags: Llau & Faclan) Chen’s eyes narrowed as he realized that Doctor Svesson was typing away on a personal DATA-PAD. The Section III Agent kept his arms crossed; demonstrating signs of defensive body language and awaited for the Doctor to speak. “Not quite, Petty Officer Chen,” Doctor Svesson replied after Chen had recalled the events beforehand. “I have one more. Did the Lieutenant Commander say anything during this...episode of his?” Chen tilted his head slightly to the left, trying to recall the exact words that he was able to hear through his optical cable when he used it to take a peek at the distressed Moretti. More images ran through his mind as key memories started to slowly piece themselves back together. “ Well, for a start,” Chen spoke. “ He was laughing like a maniac here and there.” Chen then typed away at his TAC-PAD and increased the volume of the speaker until it was audible. “ Senza emozioni. Senza sentimenti. Senza l'amore. Senza odio. Il resto è solo un orologio. Ticchettio, ticchettio, ticchettio, ticchettio, ticchettio. Ticchettio, ticchettio, ticchettio, ticchettio. Il resto è solo un orologio. Ticchettio…” the faint voice of Moretti barely being heard in the recording. Chen fast forwarded and played a few more audio clips, “ Painless… Help me… Help me before I blow my brains out, you asshole… ffffffuck... I'm not fucking around!” Chen did a little more fast-forwarding and played the audio recordings again, “ I don't know why...this happens...it shouldn't even be happening right now while I'm on duty like this… It shouldn't have… It feels like someone is drilling into my head...I'd tell you to use the stun rounds on me, but, your best bet would be putting me in a sleeper hold to knock me out that way. It'll be quicker and works better…” Chen stopped the audio as that was the rest of the audio was not necessary. “ I could send this audio file to you, Doc. But, before I can do that, do you mind telling me what in the world is going on?” Doctor Svesson placed his DATA-PAD on a table where there was a medical satchel. The Doctor then revealed six syringes from the medical bag and like a neat-freak, placed them all on a medical tray. A vial with a blue liquid piqued Chen’s interests, but as Svesson filled the syringe, the Petty Officer noticed the length of the hypodermic needle. Chen uncrossed his arms and was about to take a step into the room when he noticed movement coming from Moretti’s hospital bed. Moretti reached up and started to pull off the monitoring equipment from his chest and head, and then the IV out of his arm, while his pulse continued to quicken, and his breathing was labored and heavy. “Lieutenant Commander Moretti...please...calm down...just sit and relax for a moment or two, and then, we can -” “Fuck off, arsehole,” he growled. Moretti glanced down at Hyde and then over at Chen desperately. He then said to the Petty Officer, “Keep him. Away from me.” He tilted his head a little, looking even more desperate. "Chen. That's a direct order from your Superior Officer." Chen stepped into the medical room which was relatively small, but had enough space to maneuver in if needed even though the options were limited. With his quick assessment of the environment, the Agent drew his collapsible baton from his belt, flicked the less-than lethal weapon to expand the two-foot steel alloy weapon to its first length and twisted the pommel to lock the baton into its set length. He was going to need the shortness for such enclosed encounters. “ Doctor, step away from the Lieutenant-” Chen commanded before he was cut off with a balaclava-wearing guard grabbing his right hand from behind; the hand which was holding the baton tightly. The Petty Officer quickly pivoted clockwise and struck the guard in the face with an open-palmed strike to the face with his left hand. Following the strike was another open-palmed strike to the guard’s unarmored throat with the same hand. The guard clutched his throat, obviously in pain, but maintained a tight grip of Chen’s wrist. The Agent switched the baton to his left hand by dropping it onto his free left hand underneath his right hand. With an upwards swing, the baton struck the guard’s forearm and another downwards swing following shortly after had forced the guard to release his grip. Another guard stepped through the doorway, but was knocked backwards as Chen executed a push kick on the guard he was engaging from before. The kick gave Chen some breathing room, but not for long as he saw more guards trying to enter. He took a small step back and got into a combat stance with his baton in his right hand and resting between his neck and shoulder. The next guard entered and tried to fire at Chen with stun rounds, but the Agent threw his baton at the guard. It would’ve been a rookie disaster if the weapon had discharged and ignited some oxygen tanks and judging from this action, the guard was not trained enough. The baton toss was more of a distraction than an attack so the Field Agent acted quickly to close in the gap and gave the guard a jumping back kick. Another guard came from the left of the doorway and swung a stun baton, but Chen rolled backwards. Regaining his combat stance, he allowed the guard to enter before Chen went from defensive to offensive. When the guard got close enough to swing again, Chen countered with a leg sweep. There was a solid impact of a skull hitting the metal floor below, but Chen didn’t take the chance so he pounced the guard and kneed him on the side of the head. Taking the stun baton as his own weapon for now, Chen prepared for the next set of guards and ended up with three guards in the room. It was a bit crowded now. “Agent, stand down,” one of the guards said. “I have orders…” Chen said. A guard to the Agent’s left, his weak side at the moment, tried advancing, but Chen flourished the stun baton to try to keep the guards at bay. It only worked for a few seconds until they started to attack. The first to attack was the guard to the left which was expected since it was Chen’s weak side. Unfortunately, the guard was the first to experience pain as Chen stepped backwards with his left foot and drove a Karate elbow strike into the guard’s stomach. With the same arm that attacked, he wrapped his hand around the back of the guard’s head and knelt downwards while pulling downwards to toss the guard forward over Chen’s shoulder. This created a gap from his right side attacker so Chen got some room to engage the guard in the middle. The middle guard attack with a typical overhead strike, but Chen parried with the stun baton. The right guard managed to get around the stunned left guard and land a stun baton jab onto Chen’s back and caused the Agent to go down on all fours from the electricity flowing throughout his body. “Big mistake…” Chen muttered before he swiped at the legs of the middle guard who fell backwards in pain while grabbed at his legs. Rolling around on his back, the Petty Officer got into a ground defense position that would be an ode to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. The guard fell for the trap and attacked. Chen kicked the guard’s left leg while he attacked which caused him to trip on Chen. The guard’s right arm, which also wielded a stun baton, fell into Chen’s stun baton and the guard jolted as his grip around the baton grew tight. Swiftly pulling the guard’s arm while dropping the stun baton, Chen managed to wrap his legs around the guard’s neck and upper back and the poor guard was now trapped in a triangle choke. Before the guard could go unconscious, the left guard managed to regain awareness and land a stunning jab with his baton onto Chen’s neck. The Petty Officer was dazed and the guard within his grasps was assisted by the middle guard out of Chen’s choke. Before he knew it, Chen was surrounded by four guards with batons aimed at him like firearms. Chen pretended to be stunned for a couple of seconds before he executed a Stabbed Windmill maneuver which was a Breakdancing technique, but when used correctly, could become a defensive maneuver when in situations like this. To Chen’s dismay, his technique was ended when he felt two darts pierce his clothing and the familiar sensation of electricity stunned him. Before he figured out that he was being tased, a guard gave him a good whack on the temple which incapacitated him… for the time being.

Lieutenant Commander Michelangelo N. Moretti ONI Section III Field Officer - “Ombra” March, 2548 Aboard ONI Black Cat-class Subprowler "Raven 3," Unknown Space, Inner Colonies Making Promising Threats Tag(s): Faclan , SPARTAN-A120 Doctor Svesson silently listened to the audio file, and sighed in disappointed at what he heard at first. He was relieved though that Moretti was at first talking in Italian, and the two men who were with the Lieutenant Commander were non-the-wiser on what was said. He grunted lightly the more he listened to the audio recordings being played back by Chen, and slowly shook his head as he typed away on his report on what he was hearing. He stopped to glance over at the Petty Officer for a moment upon hearing his question. “I could send this audio file to you, Doc. But, before I can do that, do you mind telling me what in the world is going on?”“I want you to send it to me,” He nodded, “But do make sure you don't keep the audio file for yourself, and I will make sure you don't, Petty Officer.” While he placed the DATA-PAD on the table, he added, “As for what's going on here...it isn't your place to know, agent. So, best if you stop asking questions while you're ahead.” Svesson stared at Chen one more time before he started to work on getting the syringes ready. Of course, nothing ever happens smoothly once he heard Moretti waking up and freaking out after seeing who he was. Memory was such a delicate thing. If only the ONI Officer didn't remember him, and was still unconscious. He made a note on giving the Italian more sedatives after dealing with this little...situation with him as he looked on, and patiently waited. But of course, Moretti's friend woke up rather quickly for someone who seemed to have been deep asleep, but he didn't care. He crossed his arms as he watched as the Section One agent stood and went over to the Section Three Field Officer. "Mike, man, whats wrong? Err...ummm. Didn't think you were this terrified of the doctors office."At first, Moretti stared wildly as Hyde stood and walked over to him, and spoke to him as if him freaking out was some kind of joke. Part of him knew the Section One agent meant well, but he wasn't in the mood for it. Panting, he snapped at his friend, “ Chris...I'm not bloody playing here...” He gazed over toward Svesson as the Italian stood defensively in the corner. “I know that wanker...I remember him since I was a kid...he...” He groaned, looking down, and gritted his teeth in pain. The memories were coming back to him, sure, but they were physically painful enough, that he could barely tell his friend about the torture and the testings he went through since he was really young. He tried to tell him the truth, he really wanted to tell him and Chen what happened and why he knew Doctor Svesson, but the pain of remembering was too much to bear. Though, he wasn't so sure if it was just the memories causing it, or something more. The doctor though, wouldn't stop talking to him to try and calm him down, but Moretti wouldn't have any of it. The man was a snake, and the more the man spoke to him, the more angry the field officer got. He was hoping that Chen would accept his orders and keep the doctor away from him, and when he looked on in desperation, he was relieved when Chen ordered Doctor Svesson to step away from him. Then all hell seemed to break loose when one of the security guards, wearing a balaclava, tried to attack Chen with a baton from behind. While looking on in pain, he pushed Hyde out of his way, and stepped until he was just in front of him protectively, as he kept a hand against his friend's shoulder to keep him from moving as the fight between Chen and the guards continued. He ducked a little when a third guard entered to try and fire a stun round at the Petty Officer, like some idiot. He frowned, glad that the moron didn't cause an explosion, considering that the small med bay had a few oxygen tanks in it. The fight continued on, Svesson patiently waited for it to end, while he watched quietly, not caring if Moretti was watching him like an angry wolf, protecting his pack from danger the doctor was posing. Svesson was dangerous, and the field officer wish Chen and Hyde would understand that, but maybe they did. Hard to tell right now. He was still somewhat groggy from the sedatives and the pain he was in. He felt blood start to leak out of his nose again, and he glanced down at the floor as the droplets of blood dropped between his feet. Not again, he thought as he wiped his nose with his hand after letting go of Hyde's shoulder to start to deal with the nosebleed. He went to squeeze his nostrils together in hopes to stop the bleeding, but stopped when he watched as the guards surrounded Chen before one of them smacked him hard in the head with their baton. This angered him. “Hey!” He perked up and started to approach them. “That's enough! Stand down-!” "Schlaf weiter,” Doctor Svesson simply said, as he fixed his attention on the Lieutenant Commander. Moretti suddenly dropped to his knees before he made it to the closest guard that had their back toward him, and then stared off as if he was in a deep trance several milliseconds after Svesson spoke those two words loudly but calmly. The Tactical Field Officer sat on his knees, relaxed and perfectly still with his arms limp against his sides. His face, once filled with pain, was clear of emotion; as if he was sleeping while his eyes were still open. “Hold him,” Svesson ordered one of the guards to keep Moretti still, while he carted over the medical table with the filled syringes to use on him. He then ordered another of the guards with another task. “Take the audio file Agent Chen recorded of the incident, and make sure the file is completely erased from his TAC-PAD.” He glanced coldly over at Hyde, telling him, “I'm not going to bother filling out a report, reprimanding Petty Officer Chen for insubordination, but I will warn him with the same warning and command I will be giving to you right now, Agent Hyde.” He went on with his warning, “As a Commander for ONI, I order you to not speak of what happened and everything you've seen since this situation with Moretti began. Do not repeat it to anyone. Do not even mention it to Field Officer Moretti either. I will issue a security block on your dossiers of this situation. So, do pretend this didn't happen.” Moretti won't remember it anyway after this, Svesson thought. He smiled at the man as he picked up the first syringe, and then went over to Moretti to tilt the Italian's head to the side so he had a clear view of the man's left temple. He then pushed the needle all the way into the temple, and then injected all of the blue liquid inside of it. Once that was finished, he had the guard take Moretti's shirt off so it wouldn't be in the way as he used the rest of the injections along certain points down the field officer's spine. As he finished, he started to take off his latex gloves. “Take Moretti to my med bay.” He ordered the guard, who nodded at him and picked Moretti up over his shoulders in a fireman's carry, and carried him out of the room and off of the transport ship they had been on since arriving, to take the man to the Prowler's small med bay. Before leaving too, Svesson looked back at Hyde. “In the event that you or Chen do, we do have a way of making people disappear. Remember that, Agent Hyde.” he gave him a curt nod, and then headed out, leaving Hyde and Chen behind as he was escorted out by the rest of the guards.

Chris Hyde - ONI Section I Agent ONI Prowler. That's fucked.
Chris guessed that this was more serious but honestly he was completely at a loss of what to do. It looked like some kind of thing from a movie. A mysterious doc with vials and needles of some kind of terrible disease ready to descend upon his friend. All Hyde could do was stand at his side and try to do...anything? What the hell could he do here? He was a fish trying to swim with sharks or a panicking mouse trying to find safety in the dark. It got worse when Mike revealed that he knew this Doc, Svesson, from his childhood? Oh fuck...
He had never seen Mike like this before, not even mainly anger but instead fear. This doc had clearly done something terrible to Mike and yet he couldn't remember the exact details. Due to how the doc seemed to know but Mike didn't and he wasn't concerned Chris guessed that it wasn't something Mikes mind just blocked out because of trauma like he'd heard minds doing. Rather it was something that Mike was forced to forget. And then he started to bleed and try and get up. Oh god.
And then it got much worse when Chen took Mikes order quite literally and attempted to fight what looked like all the ONI fighting folks that were stationed on this Prolwer. If Hyde wasn't petrified he would congratulate Chen for holding out as long as he did - but that and his lack of clear vision right now made it all just be a big grunty blurry mess until it quieted down and the one who he thought was Chen was brought down. And then he was pushed aside as Mike attempted to surge forward and take command of the situation. The one thing so far that was like normal for him. But then with just two words, sounded German to the linguist, Mike just collapsed. Everything here needed to be remembered.
Still silent as the doc moved over to shove whatever badness was in the syringes into Mike Chris just mostly stared and watched dumbfounded, thankfully Svesson got close enough for Chris to see detail in his face and so immediatly he took the best mental snapshot he could. Storing it in the 'fuckheads to watch out for, dangerous' - seperate from the fuckheads to watch out for non dangerous like Chen. Well for now. But with the initial shock wearing off Hyde instead started to think as he was talked down too. It was just what people thought ONI were like, never speak never share. But thats fine, didn't say he could write it down on old fashioned reliable paper for notes. Fuck this guy if he thinks he can just mess with Mike like that. But on the outside he just nodded.
This wasn't over...
Thankfully Hyde was able to keep his expression blank as the Doc started to leave with Mike, but he needed to say something to make the Doc think he was still floored by all of this. Something he thought the alien loving idiot linguist would default too when faced with shock.
"Y...yeah...can I talk about the Kig-Yar?" That sounded good and scared. And soon it was just himself and Chen in the room as the doc had blown him off. Perfect. Quickly moving over to Chen he set about trying to help him wake up, but staying out of quick wake up punch range, hopefully at least, as he did. He was still scared, to be sure, but this wasn't going to just be dropped. He didn't want ONI to be confirmed for all the horrendous rumors that the general populace thought about them. And if this did turn out to be one of those things then at least he would do his best to get Mike out.
(Feel free and have Chris tell you in your post 120 about the 'no talk' stuff.)
Nek Dal - T'vaoan Translator Aboard Captain Gaz's vessel Bleeding Fist He's fucked.
Thankfully the nukes were all finished and checked over and instructions had been transferred from English into Kiggle. No more reason for Nek to hang around. Just had to now sit and wait for this ship to jump back to where his was parked for the last about day. Just had to wait for that jump...which now seemed like it was going to be delayed for a looong time because another ship had jumped to them instead. The larger vessel of Captain Gaz's wife Pun. And she seemed to be quite angry with Gaz as Nek could hear her screeching down the hallway from where he was in the upper supply room with the other two Kigs who he was looking over the weapons with. It seemed like Gaz couldn't get in a word edgewise. Then again she had been in a mood ever since boarding and hadn't even looked into the supply room as she stormed past toward the bridge.
"...Without permission! You gallivant off without permission and put MY daughter in danger!? You idiotic scum! I should have you killed for this! Slowly bled to fill several containers for blood and make you watch!"
Glancing at the two Kigs next to him, who like most of the crew were listening intently to all this, Nek tapped at his tac-pad and then pointing to a jack-in pannel on the wall. The Ruutian just nodding before leaning back in his chair and sighing as the shouting continued. Nek barely able to hear 'probably the end of this ship' as he headed over.
"And then! Then! Mix it into wonderful elixers with some poison! Keep you alive just enough to drink them so you can feel your insides melt and dissolve, choke to death on your melting lungs and throat! And to several of your seconds for ALLOWING you to do this!
"But baby.."
"Mistress..."
"SHUT UP! I gave you command of this vessel and a nest with me under the strict rule that you would listen to EVERYTHING I said! And you have not only not done that but put it all on the line for something just as useless and stupid as you!" Ohhh if only she knew how right she was.
Nek meanwhile had slid in a small wire into the slot in the panel after taking out a Kiggle to Human adaptor from his belt and was in the process of sending his coordinates to his ship. It would take awhile to get there but he had a suspicion that it would be less time than it would be till this vessel was moving again.
"You're lucky I don't gut you right now and then stick your bleeding organs to the floor and make you run for your life!"

Petty Officer 1st Class Richard A. Chen ONI Section III Field Operative "Panther" March, 2548 Aboard ONI Black Cat-class Subprowler "Raven 3," Unknown Space, Inner Colonies “The shortest painful nap.”
(Tag: Llau & Faclan ) Chen was seeing stars… more like the distorted and blurred out lighting of the Med-Bay that he was looking up at. As his consciousness regained and his vision focused, the brightness of the ceiling lights gave the Petty Officer jackhammers to the temples on top of the tightness of his neck where he was stunned and what felt like something that was trying to erupt out of his right side of the face. His right hand slowly went to touch the injury that was inflicted upon him by one of the guards, but when he pulled with his right arm, his left arm followed as well. Raising his head slightly to look downwards towards his lower body, he found a pair of flexi-cuffs around his wrists, and his battle belt and TAC-PAD were missing. He lowered his head to rest it on the floor and was blinded by the ceiling lights again. “Ugh,” Chen complained quietly and just laid on the floor. “ In the event that you or Chen do, we do have a way of making people disappear. Remember that, Agent Hyde,” Chen heard as he looked up to see an individual in a white lab coat being escorted out by guards in black uniforms and balaclavas. “Son of a bitch,” Chen said before he rolled onto his stomach and pushed off the floor with bound hands and got onto his feet. The Field Operative took a look around the room before he remembered what had happened a few minutes ago. “Next time I fight some of my own, I’m going to find a larger room than this claustrophobic box…” he muttered. His head was pounding even harder when he stood up and both hands went to grasp his forehead. When the pain was reduced, he lowered his arms and found a familiar sight of fresh blood painting the thumb of his right hand. The Petty Officer looked over to Agent Hyde, the only person in the room, and asked, “ Where’d they take Moretti?” While he waited for an answer, the Field Operative walked over to a medical storage crate and opened each drawer until he found a sterile scalpel packed in an airtight, waterproof pouch. He ripped the package open with his teeth and began slicing his way through the flexi-cuffs which was thankfully not the steel variety that was used to hold Jiralnahae.

Chris Hyde - ONI Section I Agent ONI Prowler. Giving a hand?
Sighing in relief as Chen woke up he was glad that the general horror movie qualities of this event ceased. Chen wasn't out for hours after being bonked on the head and was quickly up and...well not swinging but up at least. Bleeding too. Not great. But since Chen didn't immediately take a swing at him Hyde did his best to help him too his feet and then moved with him toward the medical cabinet. Thankfully there wasn't many places on the Prowler for ONI to have taken Mike and he doubted they would just shuttle away - well and the fact that the Doc had said where they were going.
"Doctor Creepo said his Med Bay. But I'd assume its just the room that would have a bunch of guards outside. Here let me help."
Hyde would have taken out some clean wipes for Chens face before hopefully taking the scalpel and using his free hands to work on that plastic. It was pretty slow going. But gave him more time to talk with Chen.
"I don't think you were cognizant to hear what happened but after you were brought down the Doc stopped Mike and made him collapse with just two words. This is probably much deeper and further than either of us have clearance to go." He glanced up at Chen, no doubt they were being recorded so best to go along with it. "Got it?" He really hoped that Chen would guess that one of Mikes few friends wouldn't just give up on this, and having Chen as an ally and not a whistle blowing rat would be helpful. That and not having Chen come after him would also be helpful.
But after Chen had a moment to reply he smiled and tried to lighten the mood as the cuffs were nearly cut through. "Now you get a bit of a taste of your own medicine Chen, like those two Kigs - Tun n Bar - that you and Mike stuffed into those boxes after tying them up like this."

Lieutenant Commander Michelangelo N. Moretti ONI Section III Field Officer - “Ombra” March, 2548 Aboard ONI Prowler “Sombre”, Enroute to Reach, Inner Colonies Hidden Truths. Hidden Lies. Tag(s): Faclan , SPARTAN-A120 It had been more than a few hours since the guards took Moretti to the med bay for further treatment and observation, once they reached the main Prowler, Sombre after Raven 3 Sub-Prowler transferred into the larger Prowler's hangar. Doctor Svesson did what he was told by the one who messaged him earlier – collecting spinal fluid from the Lieutenant Commander, and a few other tests on the ONI Officer during the flight back to Reach while he was unconscious. The doctor kept four guards on standby outside, but mostly to keep unwanted guests from seeing the Lieutenant Commander during his time in the med bay. More time passed, and the doctor kept the Tactical Field Officer under, and continued with his observations on the Italian's vitals. Eventually, he injected a syringe into the IV drip with medicine that would gradually wake him from his unconscious state, but only enough to bring him to an Alpha state...something the doctor wanted because it would be easier for him to manipulate him into believing anything he said. Subliminal messages. Doctor Svesson leaned over, close enough to whisper quietly what he wanted Moretti to remember and believe. Once Moretti's eyes were nearly parted, and he could tell the ONI Officer was in an Alpha state, he spoke in a mild voice. “During your flight back on the Rich Man's Paradise, the Insurrectionist leader suddenly attacked you when you volunteered to check up on the woman in the back of the ship. When you were about to leave the room she was in, you made the mistake of turning your back on her, because you thought she was still unconscious and restrained. She caught you off guard, and you struggled with her after she jumped on your back. She had removed the flexi-cuffs she had around her wrists, and was now using it as a makeshift weapon wrapped around your neck.” “During the attack, you wished you knew her skills more, such as how she was able to free herself from the cuffs. You continued to fight her, as you hope the noise of the struggle would bring much-needed attention. You felt the plastic of the cuffs start to dig into the skin of your throat, which is why your neck is now wrapped around with some gauze.” He paused. Of course, everything up to that point so far was a lie, with the gauze covering-up the wound left by the device that helped reactivate his implants along his spine, which left four small puncture wounds at the back of his neck, which was an extremely agonizing procedure, and woke Moretti up before he passed out from the pain. The doctor also used a scalpel to create cuts around Moretti's neck and treated them to make the story even more believable. Though, he knew the Lieutenant Commander will believe it. The technique he was using was an amazing thing; particularly when the victim was under an Alpha state, or any of the other brain wave levels used - Delta being the main one for Moretti. He continued with his explanation, “You fell unconscious as you couldn't breathe anymore, but before she could kill you, Chen saved you after going back there to check up on you, since you were taking longer than you should have checking on the terrorist. After subduing her again, he realized you had a neck wound, but it was superficial, and not life-threatening. He then administered first-aid before returning to Raven 3. Now you are back on the Prowler, Sombre...where you will wake up...” A short pause, counting to three in his head. “...now.” Moretti blinked once, suddenly in a more conscious state, but still seemed a little bit dazed. He slowly focused up at Doctor Svesson rather curiously, and the doctor reacted with a friendly smile. “Welcome back, Lieutenant Commander,” He said mildly. “How are you feeling?” He asked as he took a pin light out of his lab coat's pocket to check on his patient's pupils. He acted as if nothing out of the ordinary was happening and had to be really good at it because he knew what the Section Three Officer was capable of, and how Moretti was able to read people. The man was really good at reading people too, so the doctor had to be even better at duping Moretti. Successfully duping a highly-skilled field officer was difficult, and not to mention dangerously risky if his cover was blown. “Fair...” Moretti answered in a low, dry, cracked voice. “Thirsty? It has been more than a few hours since you had any water to drink, Lieutenant Commander.” The Tactical Field Officer hesitantly sat up, nodding as he gazed around the small med-bay. There was a surgery table and medical equipment in the front of the room, and then the bed he was in and another bed that was currently empty beside his. He slightly grimaced, pressing his hand against his forehead as he waited for the doctor to bring him a bottled water. He grunted, rubbing at his neck, and felt around the gauze that was wrapped around it, and then just sat on the side of the bed, and stared at the unoccupied one beside him; wondering where his shirt and gear were at for a few moments as he started to feel more alert as each minute passed. Svesson returned to his bed, offering him a cold bottle of water from a vending machine just down the hallway from the room – already opened for Moretti. “Thanks...” murmured Moretti, taking it from him and started to slowly sip on the refreshing, cold, crisp water. Being on an IV drip, and finally able to drink actual water, was like heaven to him right now. “Do you remember what happened, Lieutenant Commander?” Moretti nodded. “Yes, sir,” He replied, his demeanor took a 180 degrees sudden turn from a sarcastic asshole before, to a stoic and cold individual after the procedure. “Not many people know how to get out of flexi-cuffs, doctor. She must have been ex-military.” “Seems likely.” Svesson nodded, typing a message to the one he was speaking to earlier with an update on the situation and the status on Moretti. “Good thing Petty Officer Chen was paying attention to how long you were gone, and went to check up on you in time before she was able to kill you after you fell unconscious.” The Lieutenant Commander glanced at him, and nodded in agreement. “Am I free to go?” “You can go or rest here until we arrive at Reach in about a few more hours from now,” Doctor Svesson answered. “Whichever you prefer.” He paused, walking over to the end of the bed where a chair was at, and picked up a clean folded shirt for Moretti was at. “Your other shirt had to be cut off during your examination. The rest of your gear has been returned to your XO quarters. In the meantime, you should take it easy for a while, especially after you debrief with Chen at the Olympic Tower.” Moretti nodded, taking the shirt from him, and then putting it on as he slowly moved to his feet, where he took a few moments to tuck the shirt into his pants. Once he was finished, he excused himself from the med bay, and stepped out into the hallway. He nodded at the four guards, who saluted him, and then turned left to head toward the ship's crew quarters were, which was where his private room was located at. ((Note: When Moretti meets Chen and Hyde somewhere on the Prowler, they don't know about this story the doctor made up for Mike to believe. Mike will mention it though, and they will have to play along, unfortunately.))

Petty Officer 1st Class Richard A. Chen ONI Section III Field Operative "Panther" March, 2548 Aboard ONI Prowler "Sombre," Enroute to Reach, Inner Colonies “Intruding.”
(tags: Faclan & Llau ) " Doctor Creepo said his Med Bay. But I'd assume its just the room that would have a bunch of guards outside. Here let me help," Agent Hyde replied to Chen’s question. The Section III Agent was taken by surprise when the xenolinguist started to treat Chen’s wounds with anti-bacterial wipes and assisted in getting his hands free of the flexi-cuffs. Hyde took his sweet time in slicing the cuffs. " I don't think you were cognizant to hear what happened but after you were brought down the Doc stopped Mike and made him collapse with just two words. This is probably much deeper and further than either of us have clearance to go,” Hyde said while he glanced up at Chen. " Got it?" The Section I Agent smiled as he sliced away at the flexi-cuffs with his best. Chen responded to Hyde's request with a nod. Hyde continued, " Now you get a bit of a taste of your own medicine Chen, like those two Kigs - Tun n Bar - that you and Mike stuffed into those boxes after tying them up like this." Chen didn’t reply to Hyde’s remark immediately. Instead, Chen held up both of his hands to indicate that he wanted Hyde to stop slicing. Backing away slightly, Chen then pressed the wrists of his bound hands against his chest and sharply pulled outwards. The plastic cuffs snapped and the Operative discarded the cuffs carelessly behind him. Replying to Hyde’s last comment, Chen said, “ They had it coming. They could’ve gotten off without a single feather harmed, but their hostile nature posed a risk to our operations and would’ve set us back; leaving us unarmed to progress with the mission. But I digress. You wouldn’t understand."With the last sentence said, Chen stepped out and said to Hyde without turning around, “ Meet me in my quarters in thirty minutes. We’ll have to smack teeth and dislocate jaws.” If the Section I Linguist understood, it was slang for wanting to talk, but if he didn’t understand, the man would think Chen wanted to give Hyde a beating. Hopefully he understood it in the former context. ***** Raven 3 had entered Sombre’s hangar and was on course to Reach where the Operators of the mission would be debriefed by High Command. Chen had found his personal belongings in his locker which had been accessed through clear signs of electronic intrusion methods. ONI liked to invade the privacy of everyone; even their own employees. His TAC-PAD was in the same condition on the exterior, but on the interior, its contents had been tampered with. Any recent mission data, intel, information - everything had been completely wiped and purged from his virtual storage systems which included the audio logs that was revealed to Doctor Svesson. After donning his battle belt, Chen multitasked by checking the log on his TAC-PAD for recent activity while he walked back to his assigned room in Sombre’s crew quarters. As expected, the Field Agent saw that the most recent activity besides his access to the log was a mission briefing and basic intel being received a few hours ago. It was as if the past hour had never existed. “Well, shit…” Chen muttered. As soon as he entered his room, Chen closed the door behind him. He needed privacy to access his backup storage and see if they had been wiped too. The decryption process took quite some time since its encryption was top of line, ONI-grade protection that ONI itself could hack. The Petty Officer’s stomach growled when he say down on his desk chair. His only meal was his protein bar that he ate not too long ago, but he hadn’t eaten a proper meal for nearly ten hours. Going against what his brain decided, Chen closed his screen to the TAC-PAD, but allowed the decryption to proceed as he made his way to the cafeteria for… breakfast was it? On his way through the series of corridors and hallways leading to the Prowler’s dining location, he spotted a familiar face along the way. He speed-walked like Panther moving in for the kill - without the tactical movement that would attract unwanted attention even though everyone on the ship were creeps themselves - and announced his presense to the Lieutenant Commander. “ Sir!” Chen saluted LCDR. Moretti before he said, “ Do you have a minute?”

Lieutenant Commander Michelangelo N. Moretti ONI Section III Field Officer - “Ombra” March, 2548 Aboard ONI Prowler “Sombre”, En-route to Reach, Inner Colonies Speaking of Creeps... Tag(s): Faclan , SPARTAN-A120 After entering his XO Quarters, he found his gear back within his locker after shutting the door behind him for some extra privacy. He stood, unmoving, in front of the locker for a few minutes, staring at his officer uniform his field uniform with a blank expression on his face. His eyebrows furrowed slightly as he winced, and pressed a hand against his forehead for a moment. He then looked up to the top shelf of his locker, where he grabbed a bottle of medication, opened it, and popped a couple of the pills into his mouth. He chewed on them, grimacing at the disgusting taste, and washed it down with some bottled water he had on his desk that was beside his locker. He then finally changed out of the clothes he wore for the operation, and into his officer uniform, strapped his duty belt on, and holstered his magnum before walking back out into the corridor. “Sir!” Moretti turned his head to see Chen walking up to salute him before he asked, “Do you have a minute?”“Do I have a minute?” The Lieutenant Commander slowly nodded as he completely turned around to face him. “Yes, I do. I was actually wanting to talk to you. So, you saved me the trouble looking around the Prowler for you, or waiting until we return to Reach, Petty Officer.” His demeanor was rather...off-putting, if not cold; almost devoid of any sort of emotion, and if one couldn't tell by the tone of his voice of the changes, they can certainly see it in his eyes and expression. “I just want to express my gratitude for you looking out for me, Petty Officer,” he said, “Then subduing that terrorist before she tried to kill me after she skillfully escaped from her restraints after I went back to check on her.” While adding, “I shouldn't have allowed myself to relax around an Insurrectionist. I also wish we had more intel on the HVT. She must have been ex-military. A brief mistake on my part...” He pointed at the gauze wrapped around his neck. “...and one that I won't repeat again.” He let his hand drop back down to his side, and offered him a brief, yet small amused smile before it faded. “So, thank you.” He tilted his head somewhat, staring at him. “But I digress,” he asked, “What did you want to discuss with me, Chen?”

Chris Hyde - ONI Section I Agent ONI Prowler. Uhhhhhh. Llau SPARTAN-A120 "Well thats kind of rude Chen, I think I understand possibly better than you how Kig-Yar pirates operate. ONI willing I'll be learning even more soon. But I'm just glad you didn't kill either of them when they tried to disarm you, at least Gaz thought it was funny." He took as best interest as he could in how Chen broke those ties, in case he needed to do it later, and then erred some more at Chens request at a meeting as he shook his head. He guessed it wasn't to actually punch him in the face as he could do that now easily and have the tools nearby to treat it too. So he had to guess it was about what had happened to Mike. But he didn't want that to be discussed now. That would be when they weren't directly under ONIs nose. "I'll pass this time, I think it would be better to talk when were both not filthy and hungry." And then Chen was off, Hyde just packing some of the medical items away and then heading for...wait where was he supposed to go? He was just the civvy capture target. He didn't have a room to go to here? Fawwwwwk ---- Hyde had spent the intervening hour finding himself someplace to shower and get clean clothes. And with those stacked neatly outside the shower Hyde was intently note taking on paper about what he had seen. All the Kig names he could remember, some basic appearance info on them, and what their ship had been called. He knew ONI would have cleared out the contact information they had all shared so....so...so how was he supposed to contact Nek again? He didn't have a nice well connected contact in the Kig circles to try and find a specific one...Maybe ONI had a file on him? That would be a good place to start. Try to find a file on Nek and Gaz - they seemed like the main ones anyway. With a plan written down of 'find file, hope has' at the bottom Hyde left it there before reading it over five times to memorize it, and then hopped in the shower. Very much expecting it to be gone when he got out. But surprise surprise it was still there when he exited clutching the towel. Well that was a nice change. Going back into the tiny bathroom to get most of the water out of his hair and beard he was soon in clean clothes and sighed happily as he scooped up his note paper and slipped it into a pocket. Still no fix for seeing everything all blurry but that wouldn't be fixed till he could have some new glasses 3D printed for him. Hopefully when back at Reach. ---- Back in the main hallways he was heading back to his room with a bottle of water and a poptart equivalent in his hands when he spotted Mike and Chen talking. Well more so heard since they were just blurry people to him. So he sidled on over. Just in time to catch Mikes...robotic retelling of the events that took place. Completely the wrong events but that just gave Chris more reason to figure out what the eff was going on with Mike and probably get out of this movie scene before it became any worse. But if spotted he would stuff some of the poptart in his mouth to get out of talking as he worked stuff out before giving Mike a little wave with his water bottle hand, able to finish what was in his mouth before just going along with it. No reason to give ONI more reason to think he would do better dead than to mess with what was likely some kind of personal project. Fucking disgusting asshole monsters doing that to Mike... "Just glad to have you still around Mike, feeling ok?"

Petty Officer 1st Class Richard A. Chen ONI Section III Field Operative "Panther" March, 2548 Aboard ONI Prowler "Sombre," Enroute to Reach, Inner Colonies “Playing along.”
(tags: Llau & Faclan ) Chen was confused when Moretti thanked him and retold events that were beyond comprehension to Chen’s ears. It appeared that the story was not the only matter that was being twisted since Moretti himself was not acting… himself. This wasn’t the Lieutenant Commander’s usual behavior. Even though it was the first mission the Petty Officer had with Moretti, Chen had created a character profile of the Executive Officer in the back of his mind and this bizarre social interaction with the individual in front of him was definitely not the same. Where a sarcastic wisecrack would be Moretti’s initiation to a conversation, the Lieutenant Commander’s tone was more… empty and monotone. Unfortunately, Chen had to play along as he knew they were being observed. Good thing Chen knew how to act. “ Not a problem, sir,” Chen responded to Moretti in a serious manner. “ I was just doing my job. No need to thank me.” Without any signs of awkwardness on his facial and body language, Chen continued, “ I wanted to talk about the Innie Leader and her background. Can we find a box where only those with the proper security clearance can chat?” During Chen’s last request, he saw a familiar individual appear from the left of his peripheral vision. As the man got closer, he identified him as Agent Hyde who seemed to be happily cleaned up with a bottle of water in one hand and a toaster pastry in the other. " Just glad to have you still around Mike, feeling ok?" the xenolinguist asked LCDR. Moretti. Chen simply crossed his arms and pivoted slightly to face Hyde. After that, he gave the Section I employee a nod as a greeting and said to him, “ You can join in too since you spent the past week with the Innies. I’m sure you’ve heard something from their chatter that would be worth mentioning to High Command.” Chen was trying the best he could to send subliminals to the two men in front of him, but majority of them were directed towards Hyde since something was definitely wrong with Moretti.

Lieutenant Commander Michelangelo N. Moretti ONI Section III Field Officer - “Ombra” March, 2548 Aboard ONI Prowler “Sombre”, En-route to Reach, Inner Colonies There, but Elsewhere Tag(s): Faclan , SPARTAN-A120 “Not a problem, sir,” Chen responded to him. “I was just doing my job. No need to thank me.”Moretti nodded silently, standing there, rigid, keeping his eyes on him when the younger field agent spoke again to him. “I wanted to talk about the Innie Leader and her background. Can we find a box where only those with the proper security clearance can chat?”Before he answered, The Field Officer's eyes shifted to the left when he noticed someone walking toward them. Hyde stopped near them, and asked, "Just glad to have you still around Mike, feeling ok?"“I'm good,” He simply said, looking at Hyde for another few seconds before shifting his focus back to Chen, just as the Petty Officer spoke to the Xenolinquist. “You can join in too since you spent the past week with the Innies. I’m sure you’ve heard something from their chatter that would be worth mentioning to High Command.”Moretti gave the two men a stoic nod, glancing at them. “I'll get us a box so we can debrief. Follow me.” With that, he walked off, and headed toward the corridor where they had several interrogation chambers to choose from so they could privately discuss about Jenny, the Innie Leader and her background, as well as to see what Hyde could tell them if he heard any interesting chatter to tell to High Command in their report after they arrive on Reach. He glanced over his shoulder to see if they were following him before checking to see which of the small chambers were unoccupied. He stopped in front of one that was closed but empty, entered a passcode to unlock the door, and then opened the door to head inside. “ Close the door,” He ordered to whoever entered the room last. He walked over to stand at one end of the table that was in there, with him facing the door and his hands clasped behind him. There was only two chairs in the box, but he didn't mind standing.

Chris Hyde - ONI Section I Agent ONI Prowler. Nervous beard. Llau SPARTAN-A120 "It was a whole week?...Fuck man." Best he could come with while his head was still full of terrible situations that Mike was in. He really doubted there was going to be some grand hero to go and save him since Sage was gone now (I'm preeety sure she is at this point). So that part of the movie probably wasn't going to come true but there had to be something that could be done to help Mike...He just had to figure out what that would be and the best way he could do that while ONI was probably on careful lookout...Later. For now he just needed to focus on not cocking all this up and going along with it. "Uhh sure, there was a lot of her being a smug little shit around us when we were dragged from the communication station." Finishing off his poptart as the entered the not so comfort inspiring interrogation room Hyde moved to quickly take one of the chairs. Still not feeling 100% from all the smacks and lack of food but people looking at the redacted report later would probably be surprised at his recovery speed. Probably to do with all that modern medicine and Kiggles to gawk at. Setting his water on the ground neck to his chair Chris glanced from Mike to Chen before shrugging and starting. May as well just move on from weirdo Mike for now and go with what he seemed to want to talk about. "Well I'm sure you both met her while you were in the process of rescuing me but she sure is a confident woman. Always sure she has a handle on the situation and always taunting me that ONI was blind, just like I was, of to the Insurrections plans and how their alien allies and enemies would slowly dismantle the UNSC and ONI and leave us out in the open for the murdering." He would shrug. "She never told me how she was going to not get murdered after us but that doesn't super surprise me. She seemed a bit short sighted and mostly focused on making herself look more powerful and awesome. Probably the reason she didn't prepare for Captain Gaz's takeover as she thought she had it under control. At least that's my guess." He would take a drink of water and then drum his fingers on his knees as he sat. The room making him pretty uncomfortable. "Want more stuff about her? She didn't shout much at me besides orders and the very frequent taunt. She didn't have 'planning time' or anything where she outlined her large schemes with a power point presentation." Another pause before he ventured his own question. "Can we talk about the Kigs too or is this just the Human talky time?"

Petty Officer 1st Class Richard A. ChenONI Section III Field Operative "Panther"March, 2548Interrogation Room, ONI Prowler "Sombre," Enroute to Reach, Inner Colonies“Finding the source.”(tags: Llau & Faclan ) Chen trailed behind Moretti and Hyde as they made their way to one of the many interrogation rooms that were on the Prowler. The Section III Operator could feel eyes burning holes into the back of his head, but that feeling soon vanished when Moretti and found an empty room. Since Chen was the last one to enter, he closed the door and closed the view-port to prevent anyone from looking into the room. After that, Chen analyzed the room and used his TAC-PAD to find any remote access points that he could tap into to disable any device that would record audio and/or video of their conversation. While he was attempting to search and disable the surveillance systems, Hyde quickly made his way to one of the two chairs that were in the room while Moretti decided to stand at the end of the table. The Section I Agent was the first to initiate the conversation while Chen listened in as his TAC-PAD continued to scan. Majority of Hyde’s recalling of his experiences were not worth mentioning to High Command. On the other hand, this was not Chen’s primary concern at this time. He wanted to dig into the events that occurred in the Medbay and the Section III Agent needed to do it discreetly for now until he could disable the monitoring systems within the room. Hyde’s request to change the subject was what Chen wanted. In fact, it was well-timed. He needed to stall for a few more minutes so that he was able to link to the systems within the room so Chen replied to Hyde’s question by saying, “ Well, if you cannot offer any more than what was said about the Innies, then let’s move on to the Kig-Yar. I’m sure ONI Interrogators will get every last drop of information from the Leader we captured. Additional brownie points for bringing her in alive too.” The Petty Officer closed the screen to his TAC-PAD before he continued, “ So, what intel did you get from translating the Kigs’ audio logs? Imminent threats, personnel size, other pirate groups… the word around space. You know? The whole nine yards.”

Lieutenant Commander Michelangelo N. Moretti ONI Section III Field Officer - “Ombra” March, 2548 Aboard ONI Prowler “Sombre”, En-route to Reach, Inner Colonies Tag(s): Faclan , SPARTAN-A120 The Lieutenant Commander every once in a while glanced over at Chen, while he continued to listen to Hyde's explanation of the Terrorist Leader. Every time he glanced over at the Petty Officer, there was a subtle hint of curiously that tried to show, or could have been, but he was still lacking any form of emotion. Maybe deep down inside of him, was himself, screaming to wake up, but couldn't. Not now, and who knows for how long. Only Doctor Svesson and those who the doctor worked for, knew what was exactly going on with Moretti, and made the Lieutenant Commander consciously unaware in what he did, said, thought, felt, and perceived things. When there was a short pause after Hyde's explanation, he focused his attention down to the man sitting down. There would have been a smart ass comment made by Moretti to his friend about giving him nothing to work with or add into his report, but there wasn't even a sign of frustration from the Section Three Field Officer either. "Can we talk about the Kigs too, or is this just the Human talky time?"He stared down at Hyde for a long moment after the Xenolinquist asked that question, and kept staring at him when Chen spoke to Hyde. “Well, if you cannot offer any more than what was said about the Innies, then let’s move on to the Kig-Yar. I’m sure ONI Interrogators will get every last drop of information from the Leader we captured. Additional brownie points for bringing her in alive too.”Then shifted his eyes up to Chen just as the Field Operator closed whatever he was doing in his TAC-PAD, but Moretti didn't question him about it, yet, when the younger field agent continued, “So, what intel did you get from translating the Kigs’ audio logs? Imminent threats, personnel size, other pirate groups… the word around space. You know? The whole nine yards.”Before Hyde could answer, Moretti cut in, and spoke to the Section One Agent in a cold, yet threatening manner. He unclasped his hands from behind his back to firmly placed them out on the table, and leaned over a little as he kept his glaring eyes on him. “ Yes, let us talk about those aliens, shall we? Let us discuss your strange, yet questionable attachment for them. It's almost disturbing, Agent Hyde. Your interest and trust in those things will kill us one day.” A pause, as he studied Hyde as the man frowned back at him more and more. Moretti didn't care though, and continued, “ Next time, and if you're with me during an operation, don't try to impede me from doing my job taking out possible threats. If you do, then I will arrest you. Covenant or not, they're still aliens, and I don't trust them; particularly pirates. Opportunists scoundrels, who would sooner stab you in the back, and take what you have, than be your friend. They're worse than the Insurrectionists. They're not your friends, nor mine. So quit treating them as such.” There was a brief moment when he tensed his body up and winced from a sudden stab of pain coming from his head. He grunted quietly at the pain, and quickly looked away from Hyde, and down at the table he still had his hands pressed against, as he tried to hide the sudden, pained wince. Once it subsided, he straightened up, turned around, and rubbed at his neck before turning on his heel back to face them. " Do I make myself clear, Agent?" He gruffly questioned Hyde.

Chris Hyde - ONI Section I Agent ONI Prowler. Well now... Llau SPARTAN-A120 "As I said it wasn't like she stood in front of me and outlined all her plans for what was going to happen. Just that we would be going to her ship and in time back to her base to be squeezed for info. Thank goodness it wasn't at the ship but there it was just the starving and beatings to 'get you in the right mindset'. Not sure if that's how its supposed to work but you two would probably know." Another drink before he brightened up when Chen said it was time to speak about the Kigs. Fantastic! It was also a good point that ONI had their own people like he was going to be dragged to for whats her face. Good, serves the Innie bitch right (*gasp*). He then rubbed his hands together a bit as he was asked about the Kig conversation, before going from smiles to frowns as he had a feeling that what was recorded wasn't probably what these two were looking for. Besides some extrapolation he could get from Gaz talking to his pirate friends there wasnt much besides just conversation about the current situation. Stuff he was super into but these two probably weren't. But before he had a chance to bring that likely unfortunate news up Mike cut in. His frown continuing as Mike lambasted him for his interesting in the aliens. When he was finally finished Hyde sat there for awhile, before slow clapping for Mike. The tension between the two just oozing out for Chen to soak in. "Well done, well done Commander ONI in Chief. Good job for ignoring all of what just happened in that mission and just going right back to ONI mindset default mode. Nice. Sure lets ignore the fact that they didn't just shoot you or stun you when you didn't give them their weapons. Lets ignore the fact that even though Gaz and his troops had the ship fully under control and could have just killed you both that he didnt and gave you stuff instead. Lets forget that they watched you and the Innie fight from the doorway, weapons on you, and then applauded the show. Lets ignore the fact that once we left the bottom floor after you MURDERED two of them they didn't report you to Gaz. And finally lets ignore the fact that there was a fully armed pirate ship right there on the other side of the Innie ship and they happily let you sail away." Crossing his arms he sat back and stared at Mike, as if daring him to reply. "In case it wasn't clear, I won't be forgetting those. I won't be forgetting the heros of that day who killed all the Innies for you, captured the Innie leader for you, and then happily let you leave with a wave and a good wishes from Nek even after you did everything in your power to fuck them. So sure, go ahead and don't trust them just like you don't trust me or Chen or any ONI because CLEARLY you are just a one man little operation here."

Petty Officer 1st Class Richard A. ChenONI Section III Field Operative "Panther"March, 2548Interrogation Room, ONI Prowler "Sombre," Enroute to Reach, Inner Colonies“Hacking for the wrong purposes...”(tags: Llau & Faclan ) The Petty Officer was taken by surprised from Moretti’s sudden interrogative tone. The manner of his tone escalated to threats of violence and his body language complemented the efforts of intimidation. It was almost as if the Lieutenant Commander wanted to break Hyde as if he was a Prisoner of War or a typical individual ONI would begin to interrogate without laying a hand on the target before the situation got messy and bloody. Chen crossed his arms and held his tongue. He knew better than to speak up against a Superior Officer, especially one who was within the ranks of the Office of Naval Intelligence, and the Field Agent did not understand why Moretti was not the same man he was before they returned from the mission. As the ONI Officer pressed his hands against the table and confronted the xenolinguist just inches in front of him, Chen thought that Moretti would attempt to hurt Hyde. The cold nature that was emitted by Moretti really concerned Chen. He wanted to help, but the Petty Officer didn’t know the seriousness of the Tactical Field Officer’s current condition and whether or not to intervene. He was no medical expert neither was he qualified to diagnose what was wrong with the senior Agent. After Moretti finished talking, Chen witnessed the older Agent wince as if he was in pain before regaining most of his composure and asking Hyde if he understood what he said. Chen’s right brow cocked up out of confusion and curiosity in response to the Lieutenant Commander’s body language. That was when his TAC-PAD vibrated to alert him of a status update. Luckily, Hyde was provided a momentary distraction by fighting fire with fire. While the Section I Agent provided a heated counter argument, the Field Agent quickly accessed his TAC-PAD and got to work in hacking the surveillance systems within the interrogation room. He started with the audio recording systems since they prevented Chen from speaking about Moretti’s clandestine problem. Within roughly ten seconds, he was able to mute the audio recording capabilities. He immediately switched over and attempted to disable the video feeds. His mad typing would’ve attracted the attention of the occupants of the interrogation room, but Chen didn’t give a damn. With failed attempts followed by failed attempts at disabling the video feed, he instead pulled another trick from his sleeve and looped the recorded video from the past three minutes. “ Alright. Show’s over. Hyde, we only have three minutes to do what we can. Do you remember anything important about Moretti and what happened while I was knocked out in the medbay an hour ago?” Chen quickly said to Hyde while monitored the countdown timer on his watch every now and then. The Petty Officer then looked at Moretti and said bluntly, “ With all due respect, sir. You are not yourself.” Chen’s TAC-PAD vibrated once more which caused the Petty Officer to face his device again. This time, it was better news. ONI had failed to gain access to Chen’s backup storage which contained audio clips of Moretti when he was going through his… mental breakdown… as they exfiltrated from the Insurrectionist ship. The younger Field Agent smiled as he looked up at the two in front of him.

Lieutenant Commander Michelangelo N. Moretti ONI Section III Field Officer - “Ombra” March, 2548 Aboard ONI Prowler “Sombre”, En-route to Reach, Inner Colonies Tag(s): Faclan , SPARTAN-A120 He stared at Hyde when the man started to slow clap for him. He leaned over the table and rested his hands on top of it again, and listened; once in a while, glancing over at Chen as the Field Agent was once again, busy with whatever he was doing in his TAC-PAD. Moretti, however, still decided not to question Chen about what was so important on the TAC-PAD's screen, and slowly gazed back at the Section One Agent with a threatening look as he continued to rant back at what the Lieutenant Commander has said. The more Hyde talked back to him, the more things weren't making sense to the Italian. Moretti then stared down at the table beneath him for a long moment, and tried to remember everything that Hyde spewed from his mouth, but found himself not being able to remember anything at all. Why couldn't he remember? Next thing he wondered, was if the man was just bullshitting him out of spite for what the Tactical Field Officer said to him moments ago that caused him to angrily retort. While he kept going over and over to try to remember the events in his head, he soon heard Chen speak to Hyde. “Alright. Show’s over. Hyde, we only have three minutes to do what we can. Do you remember anything important about Moretti and what happened while I was knocked out in the medbay an hour ago?”“ What?” Moretti slowly glanced up at Chen from beneath his eyebrows, rather suspiciously at the Field Operative. There. Again. Something that didn't make sense to him at all. “With all due respect, sir. You are not yourself.”“Of course not, Petty Officer,” he replied. He watched as the man smiled at him after looking down at his TAC-PAD again. “I'm in a room with two agents. A civilian attache who seems to be lying to me because I don't remember anything that he's saying about what happened during the Operation. Then there's you, Petty Officer Chen...” He glared right at him as his paranoia started to rise. He shifted around in his stance a little in a repeated manner, and looking as if he was sizing him up, and getting himself ready to become violent and attack either of them. Like some cornered, rabid wolf. “I couldn't help but notice the amount of times your attention was brought down to your TAC-PAD,” he continued, “What's so important with whatever it is on the screen? What happened in the medbay, and what the fuck are you talking about? Being knocked out? Think long and hard before you even open your mouth to answer me. Petty Officer.” He then slowly glared over at Hyde. "And you, Agent Hyde. Pray tell. Since you seem to have all of the answers."

Chris Hyde - ONI Section I Agent ONI Prowler. Aww but it was a good weh storm from meeeee. Llau SPARTAN-A120 Despite Mikes confused expression Hyde was still a load of sass and grumpyness as he sat back and watched. Waiting for Mike to do something about all the amazingly awesome and impossible to argue points that Hyde brought up. Fuck yeah that felt good, sticking up for those stand up murderers and thieves who probably ate stomachs and eyeballs with a side of blood. Hell yeah. Not like they needed defending with all the guns they had when they swept across the vessel like a wave of shotgun shells and plasma fire. But they weren't here too, thank god or they would probably be having their skin peeled off or something, so here was Hyde doing his good deed to pay back those Pirates for saving his life. But he finally tore himself from his little smug stand when Chen spoke up about the show being over. No idea what that meant. But the following few statements made him guess that this wasn't being recorded anymore. Ok then, need to be fast before ONI get through the hack or just come in here to check. Chris nodding and sitting more forward rather than back with arms crossed as he waited for Chen to finish. He was a bit worried when he just up and blurted that Mike wasn't himself as maybe that would trigger some kind of reaction like 'shoot all in room' like from the movies...Man he needed to stop watching so many movies. Mike first with his 'no your wrong' statement "Im not lying, Chen can confirm all I said about the Kigs on that ship, its you who are lying Mike. And lying in a very ONI way. Like you were just told to say those things. And the fact you don't remember makes it pretty clear that something ONI level sinister," and movie. "Is going on here." He drummed his fingers on the chair before jumping a bit and pointing at Mikes pocket. "Check your data-pad...youl have a picture there of you grinning with Captain Gaz behind you with his feet on the Innie leader. That should be good evidence for you." Before looking over at Chen to answer his question about what he missed after being whacked "Uhh...Well doctor Creepo told Mike to relax when he got up to try and back you up and it did nothing. Not surprisingly considering Mike. But then he said something that I think was German...something like shelf waiter?" He quickly looked at Mike to make sure that didn't flip the murder switch before back at Chen. About to say that he thought it was German again before Mike started to move about aggressively. Making Hyde reach back and grip the chair in case he needed to swing it before finding out it was bolted to the floor.
