For those of you who have not seen the Star Wars the Clone Wars season 7 show-reels please do not read forward until you've seen them please! It has massive spoilers!Episode 1 for those who haven't seen it yet
An odd human glared into the eyes of the jedi before him. His name was Treeno Corex, a fresh blue skinned twi'lek who had been assigned to do a mission with the human. The human was the very little known clone commando known as Sergeant Hunter.
"Your a clone?" Asked Lieutenant Brik, the clone commando wore bright red armor like the famed commander Fox. The Lieutenant wasn't as famous though.
"Yes, sir, they're as much clone as you and me." Said Drench, Brik's second in command.
"Yea, sorry we're late. We had a bit of a run in with a rancor when your bunch called." Hunter began before the large black armored soldier began laughing.
"It screamed and it made it all the much better. Especially since I got to blow it up!" He shouted.
"Sorry, wrecker here, is very boisterous, but it beat's Tech, kid can chat your ear off with all kinds of useless chatter. While Corsshair over there isn't much of a talker. Although when you got a precision target at ten clicks he's your man. So what's the job today Brik?" Hunter said as if they were old bodies. His long black hair and red bandana flowing in the breeze, for a second reminding Brik that the clone's rank had nothing to do with what he could do.
"General Corex, and myself found a valuable target here on Ord Mantell. A small bomb that is believed to have come from another dimension. it was founded in a ship with ammunition that predates all laser weaponry. Not even the Iridonians have this low of a tech level. Some stupid Astromech droid activated one and it disappeared. A few days later it suddenly reappears with incredible upgraded weapons. When the we sent some clones to retrieve it, well they were found in pieces. Their helmets hung from a tree outside. So we were informed your unnatural tactics might be able to capture or at the least destroy this murderous droid. As a side objective your to destroy the device that created the droid and the ship." Brik explained fast.
"So then why are you and the sarge over there in full riot gear?" Asked Tech noting their armor.
"I was about to explain that. My platoon, and General Corex, are coming with. The platoon is to guard the ship incase the seppies show their metal faces. Me, Corex, and Sargent Drench will be assisting you in your dealings with the droid." Brik explained. Hunter nodded as he looked at his team. He realized Echo was still on the ship with the new recruit they had gotten.
"We'll take our speeder and meet you there. Tech got the coordinates yet?" Hunter asked looking to the oddly white uniformed clone in the middle of the other two black armored ones. Despite being a clone trooper Tech needed glasses and had flat blonde hair like captain Rex. He held up a small data-pad.
"Got it Sarge. Due north..." Before tech could begin rambling he was interrupted by a thump over the head from Wrecker.
"Let's get going then. Meet you there General." Hunter said as he turned and him and the others began walking away.
"May the force be with you Sargent." The twi'lek said for formality more so than actual care for the bunch of crippled clones.
----To CT-1499 'rookie'----
Rookie lay against the chair in the cockpit. Unlike the others she wasn't different in skills compared to the other clones. No one of the Aiwa-baits had tampered with the DNA the clone had been given to begin it's life. The genes that were messed up turned out to be that the clone had been breed as a female with heightened speed. She could outrun most civilian speeders and was fast enough to slip past droids without detection. Although she had naturally been put in clone force 99 for the messed up genes that had made her female not her speed.
"Hey rookie, they're almost here. They said to prep the speeder." Came a shout from the other room of the ship. The sound of metal smacking metal began to sound and suddenly Rookie burst from her seat. She sprinted past the half mechanical trooper known as Echo for his constant repeating of orders while he was in the 501st, before he was a Bad Batch member. She found herself in the armory first and she grabbed her gear. The full body fiber-mesh undersuit, her shoulder, breast, and fore leg plates and her boots. The likes of which were all spray painted black with red hearts in many places. She didn't wear forearm or thigh armor like the others. As her hands and legs wouldn't be as fast if she did. She burst out of the small armory with her DC-15 on the magnetized strip that ran down the back of her armor. she burst into the storage room where Echo waited with a large speeder. A small trailer was attached to the back end since the actual speeder only fit four and the elite group was six.
"Goo job you too!" Came the boom of Wrecker's voice. The only things louder then it was a hyperdrive, or an explosive going off at point blank with a persons ear. Echo and Rookie turned as Wrecker went to give one of his massive bear hugs, the likes of witch could quite literally strangle an ill prepared person. Eche dropped to the ground as rookie dove to the right of Wrecker. They escaped for now.
"So Echo, Rookie, we're working with Regs this time. Rookie, you ready to meet non-bad batch clones?" Hunter asked his brown eyes falling on the new recruit. Hey ivy glare met his and she grinned.
"Only If I get to ride in the speeder this time." She joked.
"Deal." Hunter stated holding out his hand. Rookie took it and they shook on it.
"Hey Tech, guess who gets to sit with Echo on the Hot seat?" Hunter called. tech sighed but he knew he wouldn't get any words in on this.
"Oh yea, Rookie, Echo, we got a jedi to help us this time." Wrecker said pretending to get one of their laser sword weapons.
"Great some saber jockey to screw us up." Rookie stated making the room go mute.
"Not all jedi are that bad." Wrecker said indicating a small device used to explode a starship. He had received it form a jedi, but until now Rookie had never known.
"Well with that aside let's get loaded up ladies." Hunter stated before climbing into the driver's seat of the speeder. Wrecker and Rookie both got in the back while Corsshair got in the seat next to Hunter. Tech and Echo loaded onto the makeshift seats that had been welded to the trailer.
