So, I, Llau, and MrKill thought about coming up with an ME RP. We'll think of the plot as the RP progresses. Anyway, here are some timeline options: ME2: The timeline could be in ME2, where Shepard has been revived. Now, Shepard's revival isn't common knowledge, most people are going to think he's dead, so keep that in mind when RPing. To me, ME2 is a bit of a wildcard. I always saw it as lawlessness, but that's because the game took place in the Terminus Systems with Omega and such, not Citadel Space. Most of the Geth "Heretics" were hunted down and eliminated by a Citadel coalition force headed by the Alliance. However, Geth that weren't loyal have remained behind the Veil. Canonically, Legion was the only "unique" Geth platform created by the consensus with one sole objective: Find Shepard. Non-canonically, we can say multiple were constructed for a variety of reasons, even for helping Legion hunt Shepard. ME-ME2: The timeline could be in between ME-ME2. Shepard is really dead here, and his/her death is going to impact the galaxy. This timeline would be rich in plot material. Pirates could be notorious, and Shepards not alive to stop them. Of course, the Council could just send more Spectres. Geth activity has plummeted since Sovereign's defeat, but they can still be active in the small few systems they still have conquered. ME3: The timeline could be in the middle of the Reaper invasion on the galaxy. I don't see much happening here, but currently Shepard lives and is recruiting a force capable of tackling the Reapers. The Crucible Project is underway, the Reapers are pressuring the many races. Palaven has been hit hard, over a billion dead (I could be wrong) in a day. Khar'Shan was one of the first worlds hit, meaning, the Batarians are facing extinction. Thessia's feeling the heat as Reaper forces close in on the Asari homeworld, and the Krogan have their own problems with the Genophage. Earth has fallen to the Reapers. Geth remain behind the Veil, at war with the Quarians, however, like the ME2 timeline, "Unique" Platforms can be created in order to conduct operations beyond the Veil. Originally, I was going to say Main Characters were not to be RPed with in the Roleplay, but, we can use them as an occasionally NPC that you contact once or twice, such as a "Unqiue" Geth helping Legion find Shepard and such. So, what do you guys think, and are you interested in joining? Oh and, if you need anymore info, I'll be happy to help.

I would vote for the ME-ME2 timeline, so we have less over all constrictions and can have all the funsies we wish.

I'm sure you could come up with a reason to have one in a different timeline. Or a normal Geth that was experimented on. Or one that got a different AI put into its frame. Lots of things.

Well, I'm sure that the Geth would create "Unique" Platforms prior to Legion/ME2 for the sole purpose of conducting SpecOps missions, solo missions, and such, so they'd be built to be more complex.

Eh, remember? Geth only serve the Old Machines because of a math error. Sure, it's canon, but it could be possible that there was more than just Legion, as Legion was more interested in finding Shepard at that time, and BW just didn't want more. Besides, this could take place sometime after Legion and Shepard uploaded that code in Legion's Loyalty mission.

A Math error lol.
Hmm, if we use the ME-ME2 Timeline, what if "Unique" Platforms were either:
A. Sent from the mainstream Geth beyond the Veil in order to conduct SpecOps or SoloOps, and etc.
B. I'm taking the Math Error into account. Seeing as the Heretics served the Reapers due to that Math error, and taking into account of Faclan's suggestion of some Geth being experimented on, it is possible that they fixed some Geth. These Geth decided not to return to the Veil, but not serve the Reapers. We will call these "Rogues". Of course, they'd be "Unique" Platforms created by the Heretics which would explain their capture, as any regular Geth would be destroyed. Their allegiance, however, is unknown, seeing as they chose not to return to the Veil. However, they could be intent on helping the Council and Non-Council races against the Reapers.

I know, but I don't like being the person who does "Hey, I like this idea, we're going with it, I don't care what you think we should do". I'd rather reach an agreement among groups so that I know they and I both like the idea, and acknowledge that it could be a good idea.
I also like B. :3

I was just going to have it as an Open type thing, so anyone could join at any time, they'd just have the make a character first and run it by me. I was kinda wanting to get the RP started as soon as possible

You'll get a Dreadnought Kill. We'll name it the...SAS-Killinger? In case you're wondering, SAS = Systems Alliance Ship

Actually, since all the Alliance Navy dreadnoughts are 'spoken for' (Named) I'm going with the SSV Aconcagua.

Any chance of an N7 Lt-Cdr that has the Frigate SSV Arnhem??
I chose Arnhem cos it's A) the town I live close to (And will be moving there soon, hopefully) and B) Cos it's the site of a famous battle, and this keeps in line with the Alliance Navy naming conventions (Frigates being named after battles)

Alright.
So, does the Navy and Marines/Army qualify for N7, along with the air force, or is it just the Navy? xD

Marines are part of the Navy. Pilots too. I don't think there's an Army branch. Rather, theMArines have their job. And I believe anyone in the Alliance Navy can qualify... Shepard was a Marine (IIRC), but turned Naval Officer later.
Alenko remained a MArine, and was N7 too, IIRC.
James is a Marine, and it is up to your choices in ME3 whether or not he goes to N7 training.
