ONI Section III Senior Forerunner xeno-archaeologist, operations handler, and overseer. Lieutenant Commander Rebecca Mays Forerunner Installation, Uncharted Planet, Noon, February 2557 Tag(s): Llau , LaxKnight Who brought the kid? The scientist ducked instinctively when the jackass drop trooper pretty much screamed. Okay so maybe her outburst was a little childish, but this was his second. And it was about going into a Forerunner quarantine zone with about seventy security measures in place at minimum. The only threat would be if the A.I stated their had been a breach or if Abroad pressed something he shouldn't, which Mays wouldn't put beyond him. Either way, aside from a pretty dark glare the woman kept silent. Returning back after looking away seemingly disgusted to her pad. After pressing a few things, and matching some items up with previous excavations, and listening to the field agent calm the baby. Her ears picked up Mike speaking to her. Saying something that was basically her job description which earned the guy a "I know what I'm meant to do." look, before he stepped closer to her. Causing her to shift a little bit so he was more side on. Listening to him talk Mays eventually looked up at her Tac-pad and looked back at him, then at the console. "I'm sure the sentinels can be asked for help. But fine, if you're so adamant on showing off your skills Lieutenant Commander, go ahead." She made her voice a little less hostile and more unbothered, before adding on. "And if I had my weapon I'd be more content with continuing research down into the entrance where I would be able to actually confirm or deny what it is based on door type, and any consoles that maybe around the entrance, but since I don't have my gun, and the all big and buff ODST protector over there is shitting his pants, I'm going to be cross referencing findings as to gain any previous knowledge on these structures other people who work alongside me may have found." And with that she got straight to it. Withdrawing herself to a rail as she talked and leaning on it. Flicking her hand around her screen to work. [Sorry if the post is crap! >.> Had little on what she was doing before hand, but still, it's up]
