Ultra Ranger Svo' Tandemai, Righteous Descenders Aboard Covenant Stealth Corvette Malevolent Destroyer Preparing for the Assault Svo' was walking across the bridge towards the Trierarch, head held at a respective manner and walking at a deliberate slow pace so he might notice him before Svo' had to announce his presence. "You summoned me, Trierarch?" Svo' asked in a respectful way. "Yes I have, Ultra." The Trierarch's voice boomed across the open Bridge, as he open and closed his mandibles, getting ready to continue. "I am planning to get a boarding party onboard that human ship, and I want your Creche to help orchestrate it." The Trierarch gestured to a view screen of the ship, going lazily slow as most of the primitive humans' technology was. "I agree to your plan Trierarch, I will get my soldiers ready into the pods." Svo' answered, breaking the seemingly innocent silence of the Bridge, as the crew were busy working on staying in stealth and following the ship. Svo' was still curious about the plan, as the Trierarch didn't mention his intentions of having a human ship. He exited the bridge, and walked to his creche. "Alright soldiers, The Trierarch ordered us to invade the human ship, more orders will be registered through me later in the mission." Svo' barked at his soldiers while pacing back and forth. "Get your gear ready, and do not think of these humans highly, they have primitive technology as always." The soldiers then did the covenant salute and barked the usual "Yes Sir." Svo' then took off his ground Ultra armor, the one he only uses for formal meetings with higher leaders, and donned on his zero gravity harness. The familiar weight of the jet-pack on his back eased his thinking for what to do and how to take down the human personal the quickest way possible. After choosing a Carbine from the Arsenal, he strapped the familiar family sword to his belt, the one that used to belong to his father. He then went towards the pods, ordering his troops to do as well as the ship was preparing to go out of stealth. After going into a pod with some of his Lance, the Righteous Descenders, the doors hissed and air locked. The countdown began through the ship broadcast for when it was emerging out of stealth. On the Covenant numerical system known to the humans as 5, Svo' clicked on his helmet, and with it came the classic flicker of shields going on. Finally, the countdown ended and one of the Sangheili launched his pod with an ok gesture from Svo'. Svo' could see the great Corvette coming out of stealth, while the pod was speeding towards the big ship. It slowed down as so did the others when they gently hit the outer areas of the ship. The lasers started cutting, as Svo' checked the ammunition on his Carbine. "All Void Tamers, enter stealth while the other creche will consume the beginning battle for now." Svo' ordered on his creche comm. The pod frontal door crashed open, as some Marines with what seemed to be primitive breather devices shot at the Sangheili in his pod. Svo' started firing back, killing 3, as the rest were taken down by his soldiers' fire. After the witnesses were killed, he entered stealth and so did the rest of his men. They were ready to take down this hunk of hereticy.

Ranger Ultra Rethas 'Rotai Aboard Covenant Stealth Corvette Malevolent Destroyer Rethas stood facing his troop bay of warriors, all of them ready for the coming battle. They had already been briefed on the coming battle, they would be playing second to the other rangers, working to destroy the human ship's engines, crippling it in space. It didn't bother Rethas in the slight, unlike his soldiers, who took it as an affront to their honor. Rethas was focused on success, proving the covenant's glory, and killing the enemy. He looked out at them through his helmet and gave a sigh, straightening his spine. "You know what I expect." He raised his arm he pointed to the umbilical as he usually did "Move." The troops turned and began to file into the ship, marching at a quick trot until they were all filled in. Rethas dropped onto the floor from his crate he used to address them and began to move to the pod, taking up position at the front. He activated the glyph on the door and stayed focused on the door. He was already thinking of the coming fight, and how he planned to approach it. He knew that the humans already knew they were there and so the element of surprise was gone, that left brute force, which Rethas was not opposed to. He suddenly remembered that there were two new soldiers added to his lance. Females, a sangheili named Lusa, and a skirmisher named Gat. Rethas hadn't even addressed them yet. Rethas turned to face them, looking them over with his helmet un-polarized so his features were visible. The bright purple scars and the burns on his face, as well as the black nub for his lower right mandible. "You are under my command now. You will not disappoint, or embarrass me. My command is harsh and my demands are harsher. There is no failure in my creche. Only victory" He said simply staring hard up into her eyes before turning away. Rezlek and Zale traded glances before giving off short chuckles. They each had two plasma rifles, and several grenades, Zale also had his blade. They wore standard ranger gear, except for Zale's classic helmet. Zale had been part of the ranger rotation before, and had kept his old helmet from the time. The were on either side of the two new warriors, neither really saying any thing, just waiting with Rethas. Rethas felt the ship shudder causing his heart to stir in his massive chest cavity. He hated space, and all his recent time in it didn't seem to have helped. His skills were sharp, his spirit was not. He waited patiently as the cutter began it's work. "You have your orders." he said simply over their battle net. File's three through six would move to secure more entry points as well as this floors main lifts. files two and one would take the engine rooms. The clang of metal echoed through the dead silence of the ship, and the doors sprang open to let them into a hail of gun fire. Rethas kicked the standing energy shield barricade out the breach, causing it to pop out and burst to life, giving them a new point of cover. Rethas stepped calmly through the bullets, returning deadly accurate green beams of energy. He took cover behind the shield and roared back into the ship. "Move!"

Ranger Major Lusa 'Qorahee Aboard Covenant Stealth Corvette Malevolent Destroyer A New BeginningRanger, Ranger, Ranger. The word echoed in her mind as if it were a great chant heard during one of the Prophet's sermons. When she had awoken early in what would have been the morning on Sangheilios, Lusa never would have guessed that she would now be considered one of them. The armor of these Rangers, whom surrounded her now, took on a dull purple-grey hue as they trotted the last winding hall before the hanger atrium. Some grunted to each other as they moved, but Lusa kept her eyes locked to the ground before he. It had only taken a few more wide steps for the doors at the end of the hall to open up too them, bathing them in the brighter glow of an active hanger. Complete silence seemed to permeate the creche as they neared the boarding craft that would take them on their journey. In front of them, a shorter Sangheili Male stood to adress them all. Lusa vaguely knew him as their leader, and he demanded respect.
His words were simple, and the Rangers around her tensed. When her leaders gaze rested upon her, she tensed as well. A small ammount of pressure on her inverted knee caused her to glance downward. Next to her, the skirmisher known as Gat preened herself. Lusa had almost forgotten her presence, and her posture eased as the brief memory of Gat volunteering with her flashed in her mind. Slowly, the female Sangheili brought her gaze back toward her leader, Rethas.
He was much closer now, so close that Lusa could see the details of his weathered face. Scars veined across it like some exotic fruit she had once seen on a human world. Rethas was close enough, that when he spoke, Lusa expected to smell his last meal on his breath. His helmet prevented this, of course. "You are under my command now. You will not disappoint, or embarrass me. My command is harsh and my demands are harsher. There is no failure in my creche. Only victory."
Lusa met his gaze and held it, her own polarized visor keeping her expressions hidden. "Of course." Lusa hissed as he turned around, craning her neck in a respectful nod. Her mandibles twitched in annoyance as he stalked off, she would have responded right away, but if she had her helmet would have cracked into his own. Besides her, Gat barely contained an amused cackle, finally lifting her head from her shoulder plate. The pressure left her knee almost as subtly as it had arrived, and the two lurched toward the now open vessel.
Most space worthy vessels the size of a drop ship were cramped and uncomfortable, this was no different. Though she had never ventured into space herself, she assumed that the boarding craft they were in was now just as quiet. Above the shuttering of the craft, all she heard was her own breath. This went on for quiet some time, up until the boarding craft had finally caught up with the human vessel. It was a miracle, and a sign that the Corvette had done enough to destroy any repelling guns on the skin of the large hulking black mass. The Rangers around her, as though statues moments before, returned to life as the anxiety of dying in space had passed. They all seemed to shift in unison, as the ship shuddered. The umbilical had attached, and now it was time for the cutters to fulfill their purpose. If they failed and a breach was not properly made, they would be met with a very different battle. The heavy clang of metal striking metal resounded through the tiny space the Range occupied, and once again everyone shifted. Lusa gripped her plasma rifle tightly, she had her orders.
As soon as the umbilical gave access to the human ship, a hail of gunfire erupted from inside. Humans coursed through this ship like maggots underneath the skin of a dead rodent, and they had been ready for them. That fact mattered little, and Lusa was not surprised to see Rethas jump out fist into the hall of the human ship, activating an energy barrier as he did so. The Rangers in front of her began to file into the hall, and soon the air smelt of burnt flesh and boiling blood. Everything was in chaos when it was her and Gat's turn to enter the mayhem.
Humans hid behind melting barricades and traded fire with the advancing creche. Bullets glided past her helmeted head and pinged against the wall behind her, quickly, Lusa lunged toward the nearest barricade to her right and pinned herself to it. The humans behind this one had already perished, though there were still plenty of humans in the area. Gat thudded against the barricade beside her, muttering in her helmet about the uncomfortable sensation of her quills being flattened to her neck as they tried to straighten. Around her, members of the Creche took their positions, most of them now aware of their depleting shielding.
Once again muttering to herself, Gat slapped down a deployable energy shield directly behind them, and allowed it to spring to life. Human's had both side of the halls covered, and it would be more than annoying to trade fire, just to be shot from the front and the back. Now fully covered, Lusa tore a plasma grenade from her hip. The small blue ball glinted oddly in the stark white human lighting, but she had little time to reflect on that. Her thumb pressed the green symbol on the shell of the device, causing it to turn red and emanate an intense heat. She quickly tossed it over the barricade. The screams and calls of her targets alien language was all she needed to hear, before her and her skirmisher ally sprung from cover and fired upon the human barricades beyond theirs. A bright blue bolt of plasma bloomed from her rifle and smacked into the back of a fleeing human female, Gat dispatched two more with her needler rifle before the two ducked back into cover.
Silence emanated from her side of the hallway, and was broken by the whirring of alarms. Confused, Lusa glanced around their encampment to see that in random places, emergency blast doors began to lower. This began to happen to the hall in front of her, the side of the hall that lead to the engines. Lusa quickly forced herself into a standing position and surveyed the area in front of her. Empty, with a door closing to block the path of her file. Without much more thought on her part, Lusa lifted her right foot and let loose a vicious kick to the barrier in front of her. The large half melted piece of metal shrieked along the hall and wedged itself between the door and the floor before it could fully close. Gat had been tossed to the floor by this sudden action, but Lusa only looked back toward Rethas, waiting for further orders.

Ranger Ultra Rethas 'Rotai Boarding the human frigate Rethas watched his two new soldiers on the edge of his vision, wanting to see how they handled combat. He, however, didn't allow that to distract him from his current task. Though a small warrior, he was ferocious, and still towered over most humans. He weaved in and out of combat with an unnerving amount of coolness. Stepped from cover, firing a few trained shots, and then moving back into some for of cover before his victims had even hit the ground smoking. Rethas showed no emotion in battle, even if his face hadn't been hidden by his helmet, Rethas simply felt nothing in combat. Rethas only reacted, it was a process of scanning, reacting, and scanning while reacting, it was honestly quite simple. A simple chain of Find enemy, Kill enemy, dodge enemy. Of course it all came out more complicated than that, a slight side step to avoid one of the human grenades, a slight twist of his wrist so that his next round would tear through an un-armored face. Rethas was not a whirl wind of death like many of the commanding covenant seamed to be, instead he was a calm operator. Every twitch was calculated instinct, years of combat and training to culminate into a single smooth action. This was all with ranged weapons, when he used his blade he was comparable to a painter, simple strokes that yielded results. His fighting style was almost an affront to sangheili honor, it wasn't flourished or embellished. Rethas suddenly moved, bounding forward with sudden speed, he mounted a human barricade and launched himself over it. He had angled the jump so he would have an over head view of them, while Rezlek and Zale had positioned themselves on either side, giving the perfect flank. Rethas flew through the air gracefully, his weapon sweeping over the four imps hiding behind the metal wall. He fired twice, hitting one in the chest and spinning the other from a shoulder shot. Rezlek and Zale finished the job for him, filling the space with plasma, to assure the human's deaths. Rethas' arch took him skidding to the ground at the next line of human defenses, smacking into the heavy barricade with a slight grunt. A human attempted to blind fire into Rethas, jamming the barrel of it's weapon so that it would be facing out and down onto him. Rethas reacted quickly, grabbing the weapon and yanking the human over the barricade. With the human in his grasp Rethas simply wrapped his arm joint over the human's throat and twisted up, earning a pop and the human's sudden cooperation. Rethas stood, holding onto the back part of the human combat harness so to use him as a shield. The human fire stopped for a moment, but then cry from behind their ranks caused them to fire more. The human's body did well enough for what Rethas' needed, allowing him to back up into cover once more. Once behind cover he ejected his current ammunition canister, dropping the corpse and replacing the magazine with one from his harness. "Finish it." Rethas said over the battlenet, earning a few roars in response from his warriors. Their fighting turned feverish as the suddenly pushed the human lines more aggressively. Rethas rejoined the conflict, pushing the humans to the point of near defeat, only to have them retreat and lock down the area they were staged. Rethas stood and began to sprint towards one of the doors, only to have it close before he could slip past. He skidded to a halt, his chest plate tapping the bulkhead with a slight *ping*. He did notice, however, that the new warrior had managed to hold open on of the doors, using quick thinking. Rethas allowed himself a moment of enjoyment at the new warrior's quick thinking, but banished it as he approached Rezlek. "Get started." he said simply, to which Rezlek nodded and moved to the human terminal, pulling out a holographic pad and beginning his work. He would hack the main door they needed, the rest of the files would got through the entrance Lusa had made. Rethas pointed to the door. "Move." he said curtly, which earned him the thunder of all the sangheilie as the took off towards the open door. Most had to crouch through, but all made it to the other side. By the time they were all through Rezlek had opened the other door, leading towards the engines. Combat could be heard from the opposite door, but Rethas moved through the bulkhead into the corridor. His holographic display showed that they had to follow a central corridor to a junction that would lead them to three separate engine areas. "Rezlek, Zale, Lusa, Gat, with me to the far left corridor. File two, to the far right. Place anti-matter charges and then return to central junction to remove the final engine in unison." Rethas ordered over the battlenet, before finally reaching the junction. "Rezlek, two charges two Gat, two to you. Gat, place the chargers on the central coil." Schematics for the human engine would appear on both ranger's graphic displays, Gat's was higher up on a catwalk, which is why Rethas chose her for the job. He'd need her to stretch her wings a bit. Rethas turned towards the corridor and took the lead, placing his carbine on his back and flicking his blade to life. He stood at the door and looked over his shoulder. "Get ready." he said before jamming the blade into the middle of it. The heat from the blade began to heat the door, and soon enough the thin metal was red around a large enough side hole. Zale took up a covering position on Rethas' right, giving Lusa an expecting glance, before looking to Rethas' left. Before long, however, the door was fully heated, and whether Lusa was in position or not, Rethas removed his blade and kicked the mass of red metal, causing it to spark and fly from it's resting place, creating an oddly shaped hole, but one big enough for them all to fit. "Breach!"

Sean "Archangel" Daniels "Midnight Solace" Paris-class Frigate Boarding Action
One. Archangel thought as a bullet from his Sniper passed through a Ranger's helmet, instantly breaching the shields and shattering the glass of the helmet as the bullet pieced the Sangheili's skull. The Unggoy Rangers began looking around. Archangel's sniper was silenced, so they didn't exactly know where the bullet came from.
Two. Archangel thought as a second bullet passed through an Unggoy's chest, piecing his heart. He aimed at a second Unggoy, but rumbling throughout the Hanger caused him to stop. The Unggoy fell to his knees, along with a Kig-Yar right beside him. A second Sangheili was also present, but he managed to keep standing. Then explosions began to travel throughout the hanger, as if it was ripping apart. Before Archangel could get off the balcony, a large crate flung into him, sending him flying off the balcony.
He woke up five minutes later. He had been unconcious. He looked around him and saw floating debris everywhere, and realized he was in open space. He looked at a Frigate, and noticed a big chunk ripped off of it, originating from the hanger he was just at. He engaged the thruster pack on his back that he took from the armoury before getting on the balcony. Along the way he holstered his Sniper Rifle on his back and took out his Battle Rifle.
He arrived at the Hanger, and looked around. Corpses were floating in the remains of the Hanger, due to the lack of gravity. He quickly made it through a door and into a corridor as more Rangers were beginning to arrive in the ruined Hanger. He met up with a group of Marines in the large corridor. They were fending off a small force of Rangers. They were holding them off, for now, with the help of the MG Turret that had been set up on it's tripod behind a few large barricades. The barricades had openings that allowed the soldiers behind them to shoot through them, without exposing them too much.
Archangel took cover behind a barricade and began firing his Battle Rifle at the approaching Rangers. "Boys, I think our luck just skyrocketed." A nearby Sergeant said, acknowledging the arrival of the ODST. "Hell yeah!" A nearby Marine said.
This is going to be a long day... Archangel thought with a sigh.

Ranger Ultra Svo' Tandemai, Void Tamers, Righteous Descenders Making slow approaches to the Bridge Svo' turned around one of the ship's corridors, expecting a battle group of humans to be there. The Type-3 Camouflage was holding up for now, and it was the perfect time for sneak attacks and other unpleasant surprises for the humans. He was now at a crossroads between three distinct lanes leading to what appeared to be ways to the bridge. "Abator Lance, take the first lane with the Graceful Redeemers." The lances hurried to position, while Svo' softly spoke orders through the comms yet again. "Void Mashers, and Pillaging Angels, take the third pathway." "Righteous Descenders, follow me through the main path!" The soldiers under Svo's command silently raised their weapons in triumph, while he hooked his carbine to his back holster, and took out the great Energy Sword, and it hummed in response when he turned it on. He raised a hand indicating his Lance should wait for his signal while the other Lances did their orders. Opening comms with the other Creche having the blunt of the battle, he began to speak. "Rethas, I want a full-status report brother on ammunition left and Casualties taken from the humans." Before continuing on, Svo' had a long pause for a reply. "My creche are making it to the Bridge, make sure to meet up with my Lance when the Engine room is clear and disabled." After done with making sure the other Creche was doing as well as Svo', He slowly walked down the primitive pathway made out of metals long ago abolished on Sangheilios. After walking for some minutes, about ten of the humans have set up barricades, and with them were the imps. Svo' smiled as the confusedly went down another hallway due to the fake radar signals of the Type-3 Camouflage, he approached silently behind them. He made the signal that he was on point and shooting would begin when he made his first stab. He lunged forward, piercing one of the Imp's armor, and a great shout was heard before he died in a collapse. The other humans opened fire in protest and shock, while Svo's lance came out of Camouflage causing even more frantic noise of the human guns. Svo' lunged forward yet again, this time slicing one of the imp's torso off of his body. By this time the bullets were overwhelming Svo's shields and they broke. He dived to the side and avoided being the main focus of the battle. One of his Sangheili was doing great damage with her needler as it pierced the humans' skin and blew some of them apart to bits. Svo' hooked his energy sword with great finesse as he was used to doing this. He took out his Carbine yet again and fired into the humans. He took two out, and as he did so the few remaining fell. After stepping on one human's skull and smashing it into bits, Svo' continued on the floor now dirtied with blood towards the Bridge.

Ranger Major Lusa 'Qorahee
Aboard Covenant Stealth Corvette Malevolent Destroyer
A New Beginning
The sound of human automatic fie died down as they moved off to regroup. She could not see them now, but she could hear their footsteps through the gap she had created in the right hall blast door with the barrier. Now, a certain number of her kind moved through that same gap to complete their objectives. Some spittle dripped from her lower left mandible to the neck of her helmet as she swayed her gaze back toward Rethas. Her file would be moving to a different part of the human ship.
Gat, who was once again standing on her feet, trotted toward the main door keeping them from their objective. Lusa followed closely, noticing that one the her Sangheili peers was already opening it for them. Silence settled around her, and her ragged gasps of air filled her helmet. Soon, they would be advancing toward the engine room. If she had learned anything from watching human ships being cleaved in two, it would be that human engines were highly volatile pieces of machinery. The charges that they intended to implant would cripple the chances of human escape, but they may also do this before she was able to get off of the vessel.
A buzzing sensation traveled down her spine as the main door yielded to Covenant Technology, quickly, the group advanced down the main corridor and toward the location of the ships engines. Upon arrival, one of the Sangheili, Zale, took position on the right side of the metal entrance. A quick glance from Rethas let her know to take the left, and so she did. Her plasma rifle felt hot against her palm as she pushed herself against the wall. Though, she knew it was far less than the amount of heat Rethas energy sword was now delivering to the door in front of him. Plasma and molten metal arced from the door, followed by a few sparks. The humans would know of their arrival, that much was obvious.
It only took a few moments for Rethas to finish his hole, and past that much was a blur. The clang of boot against metal filled their side of the corridor as Rethas launched the metal door inward on itself. Metal sparked along the human engine room, and Rethas dived in. Immediately, the discharge of human weapons once again filled her helmet. It took little time for Zale and herself to push in behind him. Almost instantly, the Inside of her helmet filled with the shimmering blue light of her impacted shields. Blindly, she discharged her rifle toward the other side of the room and charged forward.
Her mandibles spasmed as her left knee caught the edge of a table, though that minor discomfort was likely little to what the human she fell on top of felt. Now, she gazed down upon the face of a human female, her helmet's glass jamming her face to the floor. She screamed something in that strange human language as her cheeks became wet. Lusa, pressed her hands to the floor on either side of the human, arched her neck back, and brought down her head like a hammer against the humans skull. Gore covered her helmet, and Lusa wiped a palm acoss it. Around her, humans were retreating further back into the engine room, her shields still rippled violently with energy, but she took little notice of that as she fired on the fleeing humans from her belly. A bolt of plasma globbed onto another humans head, and it quickly ended his life, quick kills pleased her.

Ranger Ultra Rethas 'Rotai Taking human engines Rethas moved through the hole quickly, taking the lead as the first rounds all began to ping off of his shields. He moved into cover behind a human crate and allowed his shields to regain strength. He watched as Zale and Rezlek moved in together, Rezlek covering Zale as Zale moved low along the wall. Rethas flicked his gaze towards the new warrior just in time to see her go sprawling. An angry growl escaped his throat before he let out a roar. "No mistakes!" he shouted, ignoring the fact that she had managed to kill three humans all while in the after glow of a tumble. He stomped over to her and grabbed the scruff of her armor, heaving with all his strength he lifted the female, holding her so she could regain her footing. Once she was standing he gave a swat to the back of her helmet like a disobedient child, having to reach up on his feet to do so. He returned his focus to the fight, suddenly springing forward and running towards the human line. Rezlek had managed to garner the humans full attention by throwing grenades at them, giving Rethas the opening to slip into their midst. Rethas vaulted the small human barricade and began his work, flicking the blade so it sliced through metal and flesh. He spun and sliced a human's foot, then lunged into a heavy stab that went through one human and into another, skewering them both so that he could raise them up and fling them into a group that was behind him. Rethas put a boot onto a human box and used it as a place to push off from and launch out of the fray. The humans were depleting his shields to much and he needed cover. Luckily for him Rezlek and Zale drew their attention as they both launched into the human side of the barricade. Rethas moved behind a human crate while he let his dangerously low shields replenish. As he waited his battle net suddenly sprang to life, as the new ultra spoke "Rethas, I want a full-status report brother on ammunition left and Casualties taken from the humans. My creche are making it to the Bridge, make sure to meet up with my Lance when the Engine room is clear and disabled."
Rethas clinched his mandibles in agitation. "It will be done." he roared over the screams and gunfire.
