Welcome!
Since people sometimes give the impression of '1v1 me bro' in the C-box and because PvP without any real consequences can be super fun may as well lay out a nice big RP thread for anyone to enjoy. If people remember my older Open PvP thread, Live training, this will be similar to that one except there will be lots more choice. Maybe this one will actually get some more attention that my last one.
The choice of not only who you will fight of my characters but also where you wish to fight them. But before I go into detail on those sections of the PvP I would like to, like last time, ask that the numbers you bring in, if you bring in more than one, aren't too massive so you can't just win with numbers alone. Keep it to less that 2:1 please.
Combatants;
Easy; Mostly here for if someone wants a more fun and possibly funny fight. - Eugenius, Jiralhanae Elder Advisor and Mystic: Armed with an Impaler and staff, as well as a notebook and prayer items, light armor. - Nek Dal, T'vaoan merchant and pilot: Armed with a human magnum and Kig-Yar B-P1 as well as a combat knife, normal clothing. - (Poor) Bep, Kig-Yar Scout: Plasma pistol and carbine with standard Covenant Kig-Yar armor.
Normal; A good challenge for decently skilled opponents. - Cad, Kig-Yar Major: Armed with a Needler, major shield, major armor and helmet, and a crystal saber. Either encountered alone or with his file of Kig-Yar minors - Chris Hyde, ONI Agent: Can either have just a magnum and the ONI uniform or ODST Recon armor with a suppressed SMG or Assault rifle, depends on what location.
Heroic; A tough fight, in this case due to enemy numbers and flight capabilities. - SSA-012, Yanme'e Swarm: Either the full swarm of twelve or just a few or possible just the Ultra. Weapons vary a lot but be sure to tell me how many you wish to face.
Legendary; You better bring the best you have or you will be slaughtered. - Kael Gel, T'vaoan Champion: Heavy Champion full body armor; focus rifle, Needle pistol, twin wrist blades, shield units, hologram, medical gel. Either encountered alone or with her personal file of three Commandos
Locations;
Keep in mind that some locations are more likely to have certain individuals in them, for example its more likely for Nek to be in a Kiggy's ships bridge or a Innie outpost than a Covenant bridge but any can work. You are welcome to suggest your own setting just so long as you give some description of the location so when I post I know what I'm working with. But these are just some of the more general ideas I had. - The interior and possibly bridge of a Kig-Yar/Covenant/Human vessel. - A forest area with a nice looking waterfall in the middle. - The ruins of a Human City. - Inside a Human or Covenant factory. - Inside a forerunner installation. - An Innie asteroid or planet base/outpost. - (A location of your choosing)
Objectives and opposition;
Don't worry to much about what side you are on or what species you are, we could easily come up with a reason why Covenant are after Covenant or UNSC after ONI. Again these are just general ideas for an objective but feel free to come up with your own. All of the kill objectives can be capture ones instead if you wish. Just please remember my ratio request. - The chosen Combatant is defending a location your team needs, take them out. - Your team is defending a vital location and the enemy Combatants are incoming, prepare for their assault. - The ship the Combatants are on is in need of capture, clear our the remaining enemy presence. - Your ship is on the verge of capture, defend the bridge with your lives! - A trade is being made between the Combatants and an Insurrectionist leader, eliminate/capture both/one of them. (Nek is a good fit for this) - A enemy force has been detected in the ruins of the city we were defending, get those squatters out of here. - This Forerunner facility is vital and we can let the enemy know of its location, make sure they don't report back. - This factory has been evacuated, but we can't let it be sabotaged, defend it. - The enemy factory must be destroyed, feed the defenders to their own machines and destroy it. - A lovely hostage situation (Rainbow Six Siege :3) - (An objective of your choosing)
Hope you enjoy - be sure to ask if you have any questions. You would be posting with a chosen enemy, location, and objective clearly marked at the top of your post with your character or team arriving in the body of your post. Them I would reply with the picked opposition in that situation and objective that you selected.

So Faclan first off my enemy I will be fighting is Nek, the event is a hybrid between your hand off event and a snag and grab. the objective, snag Nek and kill everyone else. It will be an Innie base tucked away in by a lake that has a waterfall falling into in a valley in the depths of a mountain range. I will be engaging the target as PFC Joseph Sherman, with two NPC sniper squads as unnamed NPC allies since I will have a large amount of targets to pick off. So Here's the starter post; oh and other sniper teams can join in if they want to, I was also hoping if maybe a certain section III oni agent would act as a handler for this op *Cough* Llau *Cough* PFC Joseph Sherman Undisclosed Location Operation Nightslash (Kiggy-Snatch XP) 1650 hours Mountain face ridgeline
Joseph had been selected for this op, he didn't know why, and him and Savannah were shipped off to some colony to deal with some innie issue. "You'll know the HVT when you see it,. However no kill shots on the HVT marines. We are trying to capture this target, dismissed marines....." Just great he thought to himself, as he crawled up near the edge of the ridgeline. He started setting up his sniper rifle as his spotter scanned the base. "Dam these guys have falcons, that'll be an issue if they get airborne."
Sherman unfolded the bipod for his rifle and set up, the shot was anywhere from 1400 to 1600 meters, the farthest shot he had ever taken he thought. Adjusting his scope for the shot, he scanned the base to look over the security. He counted atleast 8 men on the walls and another 4 on the perimeter. This didn't even include men inside the barracks, let alone the crews for the falcons. "We got our work cut out for us."
"No shit Sherlock, it's bout time to report in." She was right, they were suppose to report in every ten minutes, which was difficult in these mountains. "This is Bravo team reporting in, you copy Overlord actual."

(Draken)
Nek Dal - T'vaoan Merchant 1800(so a little waiting for you :3) Hours - Insurrectionist base Waiting for the deal time.
Laying back in the padded sofa Nek let his feather mane rest on the sofa arm as he allowed himself some time to just lay down and rest. The sound of the waterfall through the window and the door was very calming and the sofe was pretty darn comfortable. Kind of like a long padded nest just for him as his four crew members milled about in other seats or watched the waterfall. All of the T'vaoan and Kig-Yar armed but just in normal clothing as they waited for the Innie lieutenant to show up. They had arrivrd yesterday, their small shuttle docked in the interior landing bay as his ship was waiting in orbit for them. Nek had a lot of respect for these Innies for actually making them feel welcome with not only a place to wait but also food and drink. Good food too, Nek taking another chunk of melon on his beak as he mmed happily and learnt back on the sofa. This trade meeting was already turning out to be a great venture so far as he looked down as his tac-pad beeped at him.
Bringing it up to be in front of his beak he quickly read over the message and nodded as he cheeped to get his crews attention. "She is arriving peeps, and would like to do the meeting outside since its a nice day and so he can leave sooner." The other Kig-Yar of different breeds nodded, taking a last beak full of the food and a drink before setting the plates back on the center table and following Nek out of the nice observation room. The base got worse the further they got away but once outside it was forgotten as the great smell of this valley greeting them on this nice sunny day. Nek stretching a little and unzipping his leather jacket, sleeves already rolled up, since it was getting to be a very warm day.
A Pelican was touching down on the landing pad and one of the Human guards directed him toward it. Spotting the older Human female stepping out of the back Nek bowed his head and then extended his hand which she gripped and shook with a big smile.
"Welcome Nek, I'm glad you accepted my invitation to discuss trade, more than just a few boxes."
Letting his arm fall back to his side Nek nodded as he replied. "That is correct Mistress, I have heard that your base here has trouble getting the supplies you need and we are willing to work out a deal. I guess we should start discussing what you would need an-"
The conversation continued as his crew stood dutifully behind him, sometimes looking back at the nice waterfall or all the green here, unaware they were all being watched through a scope as Nek and the female occasionally made gestures as Nek dutifully noted things on his tac-pad.

ONI Agent Lieutenant Michelangelo "Mike" Moretti - Section III
Overlord Actual Undisclosed Location "This is Bravo team reporting in, you copy Overlord actual." <<"Bravo team, this is Overlord Actual,">> answered Agent Moretti on the radio while his eyes were focused on the screens in front of him showing a digital map of the location, the marines' transponders, and the video feed of the area of each member of both Bravo and Alpha teams. <<"Your orders are to take the Kig-Yar and his crew alive for questioning. Do not, I repeat, do not shoot to wound the Kig-Yar. Wipe out everyone else, including the Insurrectionists' leader. She is your HVT, not the Kig-Yar.">> There was a pause before he continued. <<"I will be coming in with a team of ONI Agents and ODSTs to get the Kig-Yar, Alpha and Bravo, you will both be our back-ups. Understood? Over.">>He waited for their response, glancing back at the three other ONI field agents who were waiting around at the base they set up not far from the target's location with a five ODSTs who were checking their non-lethal weapons they were going to use on the Kig-Yar.

PFC Joseph Sherman Undisclosed Location Operation Nightslash 1655 hours Mountainside ridge line <<"Bravo team, this is Overlord Actual,">> The voice of overlord stopped for a second before continuing <<"Your orders are to take the Kig-Yar and his crew alive for questioning. Do not, I repeat, do not shoot to wound the Kig-Yar. Wipe out everyone else, including the Insurrectionists' leader. She is your HVT, not the Kig-Yar.">> He paused for another second before continuing <<"I will be coming in with a team of ONI Agents and ODSTs to get the Kig-Yar, Alpha and Bravo, you will both be our back-ups. Understood? Over.">>
"Copy that Overlord, Bravo team out." He said as he started to scan the area with his sniper. "Looks like we got our work cut out for us." He said to himself as he started to determine different locations he could hit targets at. "Bravo team, Alpha here. From the looks of it they have it laid out where we can't hit shit from our position, if you have a shot on the HVT you take it copy." "Copy that Alpha, Bravo out." Wow now the pressure is really on him, he thought. "Hey Sherman, you miss we're all dead you realize that right?" "Yeah Savannah I know...I know." ----- 1 hour and 5 minutes later -----Sherman followed the descent of the pelican to the landing pads, "Overlord this is Alpha team, HVT is Inbound, Bravo is gonna take the shot." He could hear on the comm channel. The Kig-Yar targets they were suppose to capture came out of the base, along with a human escort. "Shit I think he's gonna block my shot slightly"
"What!" Savannah said in a high pitched, yet soft, voice.
Sherman followed the Kig-Yar as it walked out to the landing pad, the bay door of the pelican dropping revealing their HVT, "Shit he's partially blocking the shot." He said out loud, also noticing that the distance of the shot was 1460 meters. Shit my best FFP was 1233 meters, he thought as he adjusted his cross-hair to try and get around it. He inhaled a deep breath. Flicking off the safety as he dropped his finger off the receiver and onto the trigger. He leveled the cross hair right above her shoulder. A small mountain breeze started to blow about 15 minutes ago. The wind-speed should be enough to curve it straight into her chest. With an exhale of his breath, Sherman squeezed the trigger. His gun jumped as he bullet flew from the shadows that had just started to cover them.

(Draken and Llau)
Nek Dal - T'vaoan Merchant 1802 Hours - Insurrectionist base Chat, chat, deals, chat, blind panic.
The dealings were going along very smoothly as Nek had been marking down the items the woman was requesting. He was actually pleased it was just things like food, water, and clothing as their last supplier who had been kind enough to bring the melons and other fruit he and his fellows had been snacking on had been stopped. She suspected the UNSC or Covenant had found him but Nek had just assumed the shipping lane had become to dangerous and so he had stop trying to run it. But it wasn't any dangerous like plasma weapons or hazardous materials so maybe these Innies were just trying to live in this nice valley and just had the weapons they had for protection. Well that was the hope at least as Nek nodded and saved the file where he had been recording her request and looked back up at her with as much of a smile he could do with his beak.
"This seems like a reasonable request and one I should be able to fill within two of your human weeks once I get back to the Kig-Yar fleet."
The female smiled and patted his shoulder as she shook his hand again. "Thanks, it will be a load off of our minds to have the food issue sorted o-" But that was as far as she got before her chest exploded. Nek spattered with blood and bits of bone and internals as he felt a heavy breeze pass over his shoulder. Then all hell broke loose. The distant sound of a sniper shot rang out followed by several other Humans falling as well as more shots ran out. Turning around toward the base Nek stumbled a little as he screeched for his crew to run, get into cover! They didn't need much encouragement and started to run - the Kig-Yar not stopping until they were inside. If Nek was thinking more clearly besides panic he would likely wonder why neither he or his crew had been targeted as after the last Human that was heading their way got in they slammed the doors shut.
Of the original twelve Humans that had been on guard outside five had fallen to the snipers initial barrage, including the female lieutenant, four had taken cover inside the Pelican as the pilot tried to start the engines. Likely to hunt down these snipers and light them up with auto cannon fire, the last three had made it inside with the Kig-Yar as they tried to figure out what the hell was going on...

ONI Agent Lieutenant Michelangelo "Mike" Moretti - Section III Overlord Actual Undisclosed Location
<<"HVT target is down,">> He radioed to Alpha and Bravo with the confirmation as he continued watching the screens with no reaction to each hit from the sniper barrage. <<"Five of the Insurrectionists are down. Four have taken cover in their Pelican. The rest have seek shelter inside the building with the Kig-Yar.">>He then ordered, << "Bravo, target the pilot before he lifts off. If you need air support, I will order air support to take out the enemy Pelican. Alpha, move in and help Bravo clear and secure the perimeter. Copy?">>Agent Moretti peered down at his TAC-PAD, noting the time. The other ONI agents, ODSTs, including himself, were already geared up; though, he and the agents were wearing only a ballistic vest and their holster gear over dark civilian clothes since they have been on this planet, observing the Innies and the female Lieutenant for the past couple of weeks before finally calling in support after confirming to HIGH-COM of their initial findings of who the Innies were dealing with. He then spoke to the agents and the ODSTs. "Get to the Pelicans, tell the pilots to start the engines and wait until further orders. We will head to the location once both teams clear the area." "Yes sir," responded the agents with a salute, while one of the ODSTs did the same, but the rest quietly nodded as they saluted and the group headed out, while he continued to keep an eye on the screens and talk to Alpha and Bravo.

PFC Joseph Sherman Undisclosed Location Operation Nightslash
1802 hours Mountainside ridgeline
Sherman watched as the bullet lanced out from their position. A second later it ripped apart the chest of the Insurrectionist. Another sniper shot rang out as Alpha got to work, picking off targets on the wall. "Confirmed kill on HVT Alpha, switching targets." Sherman moved his sight to his next target, fired, and dropped him. He could hear Alpha dropping more targets before the pelican started taking off. << "Bravo, target the pilot before he lifts off. If you need air support, I will order air support to take out the enemy Pelican. Alpha, move in and help Bravo clear and secure the perimeter. Copy?">>
"Copy that Overlord."
Sherman kept his eye in his scope, the now closed bay door turning out of view. Luckily for Sherman, this opened up a shot on the Cockpit. Sherman took a quick breath, held it for a split second as he lined up a shot that would hopefully hit one of the pilots, and fired. Sherman decided to play it safe with a followup shot. Quickly bring the rifle to, he fired a second shot without adjusting, praying that either shot would hit something.

Nek Dal - T'vaoan Merchant 1805 Hours - Insurrectionist base Not good!
The small group, totaling less that ten chickens and men combined, that had managed to take cover in the villa base - quickly armed themselves those that were not armed and retreated deeper into the base, away from the front where the enemy was waiting. It was during this fallback time that they heard the crashing and splashing of the pelican.
The rounds had hit true, and one pilot had their head exploded inside their helmet as the other was hit in the neck with a ricochet. The Pelican quickly being lost for all forms of control. Unfortunately it was already off the ground as it slammed back down but started to boost forward as the thrusters were still on. It keep going forward right off the landing pad and down into the nice river. The Pelican becoming completely submerged in it as the four Innies in the back tried to swim to the surface and get out of the cold water.
The barracks, also unfortunately located outside, had just started to mobilize their two squads of Innies before they watched the Pelican get taken out. Having already seen their leader get blown to bits by the sniper fire they decided to wisely stay inside the building, hoping that things didn't get much worse.
Nek and his group of insiders soon found their way back to the room where they had been waiting before, the three humans that had made it in with his crew breaking off on the roam through the base to try and get into hidden vantage points or get some heavy weapons as Nek and his four crewmen worked on barring the door, Nek helping carry the furniture, as one of them worked to try and hail their in orbit ship so they could come and get them out of here. The panic quite evident.

ONI Agent Lieutenant Michelangelo "Mike" Moretti - Section III Overlord Actual Undisclosed Location Once the enemy's pelican was taken out, Moretti went out to the awaiting Pelican where the rest had been waiting, strapping his TAC-PAD to his forearm, while holding a bigger one to go over the villa base's layout with his team while they flew there. <<"Alpha and Bravo,">> He said into his headset's microphone, and informed them. <<"We're about to head off to the base right now and will approach from the North-West in five minutes. Both of your teams will act as over-watch.">>As the pelican took off toward the base, he went over their breach and entry plans one more time to keep it fresh in their minds, and so no one will screw anything up. "I'll take a team and we'll enter through the main entry," He tapped his finger on the screen and then said, "The rest of you can enter from the other side to keep them from running. Both teams will have someone who will handle the explosive entry and clear the area until we find them. One of you can handle the flash-bangs, and one person will go lethal, and then the rest will go non-lethal." He soon started to pass the TAC-PAD around so they can further familiarize themselves of the villa's layout of where their targets ran into to escape the sniper fire. "What happens if the space chickens have a weapon?" One of the ODSTs wondered. "Flash and take-down with your tazer. Once they're down, we'll restrain them." "And the Innies?" "Use lethal force on them if they fire at us," Moretti answered. "ONI only wants the space chickens; the leader, Nek, more importantly. There is no kill order on his crew though." "Are you going to join us, or are you going to stand around and act like you're an all-so-important ONI Spook...?" Another ODST muttered, sounding not-so-impressed with the agent's plan. Moretti stared at him, deadpan. "I may be Navy, but my rank would be a Captain in the marines. So cut the attitude or I'll write you up for insubordination. This is a joint-operation, not some pissing contest to see who can do the job better, Private. But to answer your question, yes, I am going to join, but we won't attack if I'm not able to negotiate them to stand down and surrender." Another ODST jabbed the private in the ribs to shut him up before he would get into further trouble. "We're actually going to do that, sir?" "They're merchants, not soldiers," Moretti replied. "They'd be more interested in deals than shooting at us first. So, please exercise trigger discipline." "Well, I sure hope you're right..."

Jiralhanae Chieftain Garatus Trial by Combat, Bloodstone arena, Doisac
Garatus sat upon his stone throne on a raised stone dais with stone seats cascading downwards to either side like jutting peaks leading up to the top of a mountain. And he was at the very top, he was the mountains face... its representative. He looked down at the simple stone circle that served as the judicial arena, flat and smooth with a depiction of Rukt made in bloodied bricks. The circle itself was wide and even, a ring represented by a circle of in-ground bricks, these ones of a blue stone. The smooth level stone went on quite a way past the edge of the ring, with ten feet between the half circle of stone seats that curved with the bloodied ring.
Garatus looked to each side of the arena, simple tents were at the end of where the stone seating half circle ended on each end. The tent to Garatus's right sat several Jiralhanae representatives, while on the left sat some of those damn T'vaoan. Some upstart young one named 'Roh Gel', who was accused of the murder of one of Garatus's own Kinsmen, and one or two others, including whichever one he chose to be his Champion when he chose Trial by Combat.
"We have gathered to this Moot today, to address the murder of Revalus, my own Cousin once removed," Garatus said as he stood up from his seat,"The accused, the T'vaoan Roh Gel, has elected Trial by Combat. If his Champion wins he has been deemed innocent in the eyes of the Gods, if his Champion is defeated he will be serve out his sentence for the murder of Revalus and of his Champion" Garatus finished looking over the crowd.
"Does the defendant or his Champion have anything to say, and do you both clearly understand the purpose of this Trial?" Garatus asked as the defendant stayed silent, Garatus waiting to see if the Champion had anything to say.

Kael Gel - T'vaoan Champion Bloodstone Arena, Doisac A fun family outing.
Despite Kaels normal mood being slightly angry right now she was livid. Not only had her good-for-nothing-idiot-foolish-poking his beak into everything son chosen Doisac as the location where they would try to get over the animosity between the two of them. He had then gone and been accused of murder and a sentence of slavery and possible death for it. But oh no, no ape was going to punish her boy while she still lived as that was both her job and her right as the mother. The Jiralhanae likely snickering at the commotion coming from the T'vaoan tent as Kael had a tight hold of Rohs beak, keeping him silent and looking at her, as she explained calmly what he had done wrong and what would happen now.
"You foolish chick!" She shouted, shaking Roh's skull as she continued. "Not only dragging us both to this Aecor forsaken place but then you go and get yourself accused of murder! And you didn't even murder anyone of importance, what kind of Gel killing is that!" Looking back as the Chieftain spoke up about this occasion she only narrowed her eyes and gave him a bit of a rude gesture before speaking up again. "Yes I get your damn trial and hold on I have some more berating to do!" Turning back to her boy she shook him again, lighter this time, before cuffing him across the mane and finally letting his beak go. Growling she shoved Roh back out of the ring by his bound hands before turning around and storming to the middle of the arena. Flicking out her blades as she put on her helmet and waited for the challenge to approach, muttering quiet curses about her foolish boy. Kael was glad that she had not trusted the apes supposed friendly treatment of other species and had insisted she keep her armor on at all times here. She had just left Dream Melter on their ship and had had her Pistol confiscated - but these foolish apes had clearly never caught a Gel as they had not tried to take her blades, a few of the crowd muttering about her long blades but they seemed to be waiting for the Chieftains opinion on these up to now hidden weapons as the female T'vaoan did a few practice swipes and stretches.
But Roh would have seen the smaller smile and a wink from her before Mama Kael shoved him back, Roh also finding a small blade in his hands after she shoved him, for his bonds, as she left. It seemed that even though the family members were at odds they still looked out for each other in this alien place....
(Hopefully alright BetaW, feel free to have Roh speak up as well. :>)

PFC Joseph Sherman Force Recon Sniper Operation Nightslash Undisclosed Location <<"Alpha and Bravo, We're about to head off to the base right now and will approach from the North-West in five minutes. Both of your teams will act as over-watch.">> rang out over the comms as he sighted in on the rebels popping up out of the water. The pelican crashing in the coolest of crashes. "Copy That, Bravo out." Flicking off his mic, Sherman pulled the trigger, his job bow alot more simpler. "You got to admit Savannah that was a pretty badass kill." All he heard was a snicker as Alpha team let rounds loose, trying to wipe up what was left of the pelican crew in the water. "Your one lucky shot Sherman, I'll give you that." She got up and proceeded to move to the other shooting position that had been designated in the briefing for the ONI Insertion. Sherman's gun kicked one more time, before he packed up and moved. He flicked his mic on and commed over to Alpha "Alpha, re-positioning for Phase 2, let me know if I hit those targets in the water."

Jiralhanae Chieftain Garatus Bloodstone arena, Doisac
Garatus continued to stand as many shouts and yells could be heard from the T'vaoan tent, before a somewhat familiar head poked out to yell at Garatus in confirmation of his question after rudely gesturing at him. Alright then... Garatus thought as all the seated Jiralhanae looked at each other and started muttering about this... unusual incident that was occurring, T'vaoan were so strange.
* Roh had buried his head in his lap, how could this possibly be happening to him? He hadn't killed anyone, honest! He had only sort of witnessed it... without actually seeing faces. He looked up from his lap to his mother walking towards him, not a good sign. Roh's eyes widened as his beak was clamped shut, Kael bellowing at him and shaking his head. A muffled and constant "Mhrrmmmm" was seething out of his shaking head with wide eyes like melons. Finally she bashed him on the top of the head and let his beak go, before pushing him backwards by his bound hands. He fell flat on his back from it, and at first was confused as Kael had given a small smile and winked at him just before she shoved him. After a very brief moment he realized there was now something in his hands, a small blade he realized before quickly disappearing it into his sleeve with a smile towards his Ma. Roh was pulled to his feet by the other T'vaoan that were there and he stood under the tent watching for and praying the Jiralhanae Champion was a pushover.
*
Garatus cocked his head to the side as the T'vaoan who was Champion flicked out wrist blades... he realized who it was now. Kael Gel, T'vaoan Champion whom also served under the Sangheili Field Marshal Til. Garatus vaulted himself over his stone podium and landed heavily just outside of the arena sending a light cloud of dust into the air."Are those blades your weapon of choice Kael?" Garatus said,"We have weapons from the main Covenant species for such occasions... if you desire to select something handheld" as Garatus spoke two other Jiralhanae clothed in studded red leather wheeled out weapon racks with more blades than one would have expected to have been on hand. As all the racks were finally brought out it came out to four of them, Jiralhanae, Sangheili, Kig-yar and Unggoy weapons were abound.
"Once you've picked whether you'll use your assassins blades... and or one of the provided weapons, the trial can begin for yourself and the elected Jiralhanae Champion" Garatus concluded, now flanked on either side by his two eldest Sons Fenarius and Rotonus, both dressed in studded green leather armor with scimitars on their backs.

Nek Dal - T'vaoan Merchant 1815 Hours - Insurrectionist base (So some time passed to let Mike get to near the base :>) Surrender, fortify, and sneak.
By the time the ONI Pelican hand landed on the nicely vacated landing pad that the crashed Innie pelican used to occupy the area had been pacified for them. The Humans that were on the crashed Pelican either drowning in the crash or being shot while they surfaced. The small barracks off to the side of the base was still silent as the Innies inside it had stayed inside and away from the windows as the UNSC combined forces moved in. But when the Pelican finally landed the door opened and a metal bar with a white pillow case tied to it stuck out and jutterily waved, the Innies still staying away from the windows as they seemed to think their chances of living were pretty low so were trying to not fight. The UNSC not knowing exactly how many troops could be in there but they seemed to be wanting to surrender (Somthing for the snipers and Draken to do perhaps as Mike and ONI moves into the facility.)
Nek and his crew were all alone as four of them, Nek included did what they could to move the sofa and other furnite over to the door to try and bar it as the youngest female of the group tried to contact their ship on her more built up tac-pad. But it quickly become apparent that their communications were being blocked. Glancing down at his own tac-pad for the time Nek cursed in his own language as he could see that it was still four hours until his crew would come down to investigate personally as he had sent a report back just as he was heading to the meeting with the Innies. Doing his best to comfort his crew as they worked the mood was very tense and grim as they fell back to try and get behind what cover they could with the door barricaded.
The three Humans that had made it inside with them however where unknown; perhaps hiding, perhaps looking for weapons, or currently watching the ONI pelican down the scope of a rifle.

Kael Gel - T'vaoan Champion Bloodstone Arena, Doisac What did you just call Gel blades?
Looking over from her practicing and preparations for the coming trial by combat as the ape Chieftain spoke to her Kael squinted at him a bit behind her helmet before grunting in recognition of who it was...She had never liked him much anyway! Especially not after her compared the weapons of her ancestors to assassin weapons. Turning to face Garatus fully she pointed at him with her claws on her left hand, the left blade as well and hissed a bit with her right hand turning the other blade over slowly so the firelight would glint off it.
"These are weapons of face to face fighting, looking your enemy in the face before you send them to Aecor with blood filled screams. The ancient weapons of Gel and still a symbol of my Nest - so yes they will be my weapons to defend my foolish boy with until I can punish him myself." She said before returning to her practice and stretches as she waited for this champion to reveal itself.
She wasn't scared or worried about this fight. It would be very challenging as she had fought Jiralhanae before, even Garatus in a tiny scrap when they still both still served the Covenant. But it would be a tough battle, but even if she failed and was reduced to a mangled pile of mush on the ground the time she wasted with talking and the fight should give Roh enough time to cut his bonds and get away - the apes likely too busy watching the fight to stop him once it got underway.
(This is why Kael doesn't make many friends >.> . Hope the little blurb of them having fought before we alright :3 .)

ONI Agent Lieutenant Michelangelo "Mike" Moretti - Section III Overlord Actual Undisclosed Location After the Pelican he and the others were in landed, the bay door opened, and he hand-signaled to the ODSTs to head out and form a perimeter to keep watch, while he and the other ONI agents followed behind once the ODSTs signaled and all-clear. Agent Moretti gazed around, checking to see if any of the Innies that were in the Pelican that was shot down by Sherman were alive, but the survivors either drowned in the freezing cold water or were shot by both sniper teams. He took out a flashlight from one of his pouches of his tactical vest, and shined the bright beam of light down to have a better look. Along the bank, he could hear someone coughing and moaning, just as one of the ODSTs spotted the white pillow being used as a flag of surrender in one of the buildings near by. "Sir," said the ODST private. "I think they're surrendering in the barracks. Orders?" Moretti glanced back at him. "You have your orders, but be careful." he then glanced at the others. "You two, follow me. I think I hear a survivor down here by the river. The rest of you keep a close eye on the other building where the Kig-Yar and the rest of the Innies ran into." "Copy that." They did what they were told. Sergeant Urban, the ODST who noticed the make-shift flag nodded, and the group split up and formed up at the door before shouting out to the group of Innies who were hiding inside. The Sergeant shouted loud and clear, "This is the UNSC ODSTs! Keep your hands up and don't move!" One of the ODSTs opened the door a bit, checking for traps before swinging it wide open. "Go! Go! Go!" Then they filed inside in a standard breach and clear formation. Moretti listened in on the radio as they ordered all the Innies to keep their hands up repeatedly as they started clearing the barracks. Then when he started searching for the one who was making pained sounds down near the river bank, the Italian suddenly heard them yell, "Drop your weapons!" a few times before eventually firing at whoever was trying to shoot at them, which from the sounds being heard, it sounded like they fired at more than one Innie. He closed his eyelids for a couple of moments and shook his head lightly before parting to continue looking with the two who he asked to follow him around the river bank. It didn't take them long to find the survivor who was moaning and groaning on the ground from being injured. The ODST he had with him, raised an arm up, fist closed. "Found him!" He said into Moretti's headset, and stood, weapon pointing at the down Innie, while Moretti and the other ONI agent approached them. Moretti and the agent pulled the shivering man away from the water, and the Italian roughly turned him over after they searched him for weapons he could try to use against them. He noticed a bullet hole through the man's shoulder, and knelt down on it, but not too much. The extent of his injuries was much more than that, and as far as he could tell, the Innie wouldn't even make it as hypothermia was beginning to set in, and it looked like he couldn't move his legs - his spine was probably injured pretty bad when the Pelican crashed into the river. The man screamed in agony in between coughs. "How many?" Moretti questioned. "AHHH! I don't - " "How... many...are inside the building?" He applied a little more pressure as he spoke to him harshly. "I don't know!" cried the man, grimacing in pain. "We already took out your friends, and some inside the barracks. I need to know how many our actually inside the other building." He paused, waiting for an answer, but the man kept in a silent pain. He stared at him sternly, and applied a little more weight to the wound. The man shouted, and hissed, "I'm not telling you nothing, asshole!" "Hmm..." Moretti gradually nodded at that, glancing around, and up at the other agent, who was shaking his head at the Innie. The ODST pointing the gun at the man didn't budge, but seemed to scoff at that; though, probably more so at the Innie calling Moretti an asshole, than what the agent was doing to the man. Smiling a little, and sighing, he returned his attention to the Innie, and slowly unholstered his handgun, and then pressed it against the man's forehead. "Look, buddy. If you tell me, then I don't have to kill you. I could arrest you, take you into custody, and the doctors on board the ship can save your ass before I talk to you. Maybe I'll even let you go after..." "Bullshit!" The man retorted. "You'll act all nice, until you interrogate me, and once you have what you want, you'll fucking kill me, you fucking ONI piece of shit!" The Lieutenant sighed heavily. "See, this is why we can never get along with you people..." He shook his head in disappointment. "Hmm. Here I am, trying to make a deal with you, and Innies like you shit on it, and ignore the war with the Covies. Your diplomatic skills are really good, by the way. Maybe you should stop being some Innie-tard and become a politician." "Fuck off! I'd rather die -" A gun shot echoed throughout the area, and the Innie's eyes glazed over when the bullet went through his head from Moretti's gun when the field agent shot him point blank; blood leaking out of the head wound. "Works for me." He said, and the other agent standing by him snickered. Though, it was more of a mercy killing, than killing him just because. At least, in Moretti's mind it was...could be his way of justifying it, or making himself feel less guilt. Though, part of him, with his Scaled Morality Training, wasn't feeling any guilt at all, but the other part of him, was having a hard time justifying of the obvious murder of the injured man. He stared at him for almost a minute, and muttered, mostly to reassure himself, "He did say he wanted to die...right?" He glanced up at the other field agent, who nodded and shrugged in response, and then the Italian forced a small smile on his face. Moretti patted the now dead Innie on the other shoulder and stood up, holding his gun at his side. He then radioed to his team, and both Alpha and Bravo, <<"We still don't exactly know how many are really inside of the other building. So, we're going to have to exercise extreme caution when we do. Both Alpha and Bravo, continue with your current orders.">> And then he spoke to the ODSTs who were still inside the barracks, "Sergeant Urban. What's your status on those Innies?" He and the other two started walking away from the river bank, and headed to higher ground where the buildings were. "Some of them have been killed, but only four have surrendered," Sergeant Urban answered. "We're currently finishing restraining them." "Alright, bring them out, and lay them down on the ground when you're done." Five minutes passed while they waited around, and then the ODSTs started exiting with the four Innies who surrendered and were taken prisoner. Once they started forcing them face down on the ground, Moretti scanned his eyes over them, and then spoke again to Bravo. <<"Bravo, keep an eye on these Innies. If they try to escape, shoot-to-kill.">>He then went up to the entrance to the building Nek was hiding in, and the group split up to do what Moretti ordered them to do as they waited until everyone was ready to breach inside. "Ready, Urban?" Moretti asked into the headset. "Ready, sir." Moretti reached up and knocked on the door, hard, several times. " Nek Dal? We know you're inside with the others! Surrender now and exit the building with your hands up, and no one will get hurt! If you don't, then we're coming in and forcing you to! You have sixty seconds to answer and comply with my demands! I repeat - 60 seconds to comply and surrender yourselves, or we'll come in and use force!" He leaned against the wall beside the door, and waited for a response, while he counted down the seconds on his TAC-PAD.

Sponsoring Staff Member (delete this section if inappropriate):
Faction & Division: Holy Covenant Empire, Special Operations Group. He leads the Special Operations Creche of Indomitable Valor.
Rank: Special Operations Ultra
Name: Ved’as ‘Ko’serahai {Pronounced, Vay-Das Koe-ser-aye}
Race: Sangheili
Age: 53
Height: 8’ 7”
Weight: 512 Lbs.
Appearance: Ved’as is a fairly average Specimen of a Ko’serah Clansmen, shorter and lighter than the average Sangheili Ved’as is far more agile than most, able run faster and jump higher than most, as well as being what the humans would call a free running expert, Ved’as skin is a violet color, with deep Amber eyes set farther back from his mandibles than the average Sangheili, there is a massive scar across his chest from a close encounter with a Heretic General’s energy sword, as well as three self-inflicted ones across the top of his bumpy head, each one represents a fallen comrade. Ved’as claws are long and his cloven feet soft, designed to sneak up on his enemies. Ved’as Special Operations Combat Harness is the same as any other Ultra’s dark maroon armor, albeit with some minor modifications to fit his slighter frame, as well as allow for his longer talons. The armor is oddly devoid of scuffs and scratches, with only three being readily apparent. One carves from his right shoulder to left hip, the other all the way down the right thigh, and the third from the very front above his lower left mandible to the very back of his helmet. The aforementioned helmet is adorned with glyphs running all the way up the right hand side.
Preferred Equipment: Ved’as carries a fair bit of equipment for a Special Operator, however still very little in comparison to some of the regulars.
2x Type-1 Energy Weapons, Swords: These are Ved’as’ calling cards, when one sees a rather small Sangheili with two of these superheated Plasma blades on his back, more than likely it is Ved’as. They are both normal energy blades, and are magnetically clamped onto his back. They are hitched high up above his shoulder blades so the handles are almost visible, this makes them easier to reach very quickly.
1x Energy Garrote: This weapon is a staple in any accomplished Special Operator’s arsenal. Its use as a Stealth Combat Weapon has few equals, even something the size of a Sangheili can perform close-range assassinations using this when equipped with Active Camouflage. Ved’as carries one clamped to the small of his back, given that it is rarely guaranteed that he will need it.
1x Type-27 DER: This is one of the few Covenant weapons designed specifically with Special Operators and covert operations in general in mind. The plasma weapon has a dampening system to significantly reduce the noise and visibility of the fired plasma bolts. However as a result the weapon has significantly reduced lethality, meaning that it has to be charged like a Plasma Pistol before each shot.
Strengths: Ved’as is a highly proficient hand to hand combatant, his unique physiology for a Sangheili allows him to be quick and agile, rather than the usual brute force and zealous courage favored by his brethren. This catches people off guard, allowing him a second of an edge. Ved’as skills in Energy Sword combat in impressive, even for someone of his ranking. However his skill with DEWs is rather lacking, barely getting a passing grade at War College, thus he prefers hand to hand combat. Ved’as is almost always able to keep a cool head, even under intense fire or when a mission begins to fall apart, he does not fall to his knees and beg the gods for mercy; instead he presses on and makes the best of whatever has happened.
Weaknesses: Ved’as is, at the end of the day, rather small for a Sangheili. So while his ability to dodge and weave and generally jump about to avoid being hit, one or two good hits from a larger opponent and he’ll be going down. His lack of zealous prayer and constant stating of scriptures or other things related to the gods, other Sangheili often times dislike him, leading to a certain amount of tension between him and other Zealous races in the Covenant. Ved’as is very detail oriented, often times focusing on the finer points of any given mission, and will often miss the bigger picture,
NPCs:
Doros ‘Muramai, Special Operations Major: A classically trained Muram assassin, Doros is the spitting image of what a ‘Muram clansmen should look like. His sand-tone mottled skin is perfect for blending into desert environments, the obviously pronounced talons on his feet and hands are long and wickedly sharp. He is shorter and lither than the average Sangheili, standing at 9’ 1”, and weighing almost ninety pounds less. He is an accomplished swordsman, however rarely uses his sword as he prefers his Clannish weapons, several ‘Muram throwing knives and three darts, though he does use a Plasma Rifle. Doros’ armor is scuffed and scratched all over, as well as having a long discolored patch on the breastplate, from a close encounter with a Heretic’s energy sword.
Two other unnamed Special Operations Majors.
Approved for use here by Faclan.
So Faclan I will be taking on Kael Gel and four members of SSA-12. They shall be fighting in the ruins of a human city long since destroyed in a campaign that either of them may have been a part of. Due to the fact that the city was destroyed almost ten years ago, the surrounding tropical rain forest has begun to creep back into it, thick creeper-like vines cover most of the city, and several small trees have sprouted throughout it. Evidence of a massive battle are everywhere, big honkin' holes in walls and buildings, as well as pits that have been smashed into the ground and such. Cars and broken tanks/aircraft are a fairly common sight. Objective wise, Ved'as is going to be hunting Kael and attempting to crush the life from her avian lungs. Special Operations Ultra Ved'as 'Koh'serahaiThe ruins of Meridius, human city, Decimus VII~Out of the Darkness~The Phantom hurtled across the Azure sky of Decimus VII, the subtle whine of its engines was the only noise that cut through the stillness of the hot day they were high enough that the massive craft would not be very easy to spot, unless of course one was looking for it, and it was certainly the only noise that cut through the still silence on the inside, aside from the occasional judder or shake, caused by any number of factors, Ved’as Je’at ‘Ko’serahai liked to think that it was the T’vaoan they had been sent to kill, firing some manner of projectiles from the destroyed city below, however he severely doubted they would even expect they were coming. Few ever did, and fewer still were able to do anything about it before a plasma blade was buried in their back. But even Ved’as was aware that they were not hunting any random rogue Unggoy Creche, or a bunch of Kig-Yar pirates causing trouble, no. This was Kael Gel, a T’vaoan Champion, and a good one too. They had both survived contact with a Demon, which made this particular T’vaoan rather dangerous by anyone’s standards. Ved’as was pulled from his thoughts by a red light blinking on, indicating it was about time to drop. The lithe Sangheili stood up and strode to the massive doors on either side as the Phantom pulled into a stomach flipping drop, swooping to a low enough altitude that the passengers could jump. The drop ceased and a green light flashed on overhead, and the door opened.
Ved’as jumped, Doros and the other two majors followed swiftly behind, landing and coming up in a roll as the Phantom rocketed away across the sun-lit sky. The group of Special Operators melted into the trees, slinking along in the shadows for several minutes before they came upon the city, Active Camouflage activated as the four Sangheili stalked towards their quarry, weapons at the ready.

(Draken and Llau) Nek Dal - T'vaoan Merchant 1810 Hours - Insurrectionist base Waiting as the booms sound.
Unfortunately for Nek and his crew they were all way to deep into the Innie compound to hear the demands made of them as they cautiously watched the door, pistols and Kig-Yar rifles tightly held as they waited for the killers to try and make it it. It would be tricky to know if Nek would have taken the deal and walked out with his crew, all he had seen so far were these people killed the Humans they were trying to work with and shoot at them. So despite his cowardice he may have refused the demands as he would prefer to have at least a 1% chance of survival for the five of them rather than just walk to their execution like those do-do's he had read about...But all conjecture really since he and his crew had heard nothing, just muffled gunshots through their barricaded room as the three Innies that had made it into the base as well began to launch attacks - A general alert for help being broadcast from the young females Tac-Pad, hoping that the radio jamming would stop just for a moment.
Once the time had expired door to the base had been 'opened', however it was blasted or otherwise. One of the Innies was waiting around the corner of the hallway with two SMG's, and after waiting to hear footsteps she ducked from around the corner and started to unload them, shouting anti UNSC things and the like. The other two Innies no-where to be seen as of right now, but it was a large base. If the ONI team could get to the security center they would easily be able to ascertain the location of the T'vaoan and likely the Innies too so they could lock them away safely - and use the PA system to deliver the demands again.
(Ledle) Kael Gel - T'vaoan Champion, accompanied by some Yanme'e Ruined Human City. Searching for info...
Grunting in exertion as she pulled helmet up and into a building through the window sill Kael kept most of her weapons holstered as her own night vision, augmented by her helmets, quickly lit up the room. She knew it was here, somewhere in this city. Her file and the rest of Adaptable Gambit searching it in teams as Kael moved over to a few computers and started to tap away to try and activate them.
The city was barely worth looking into when it was still standing, and even less so after it had been leveled, but recently Kael had been informed that a secret ONI base was hidden around it. That was enough for her to take some troops and journey back to this place. Four of the bugs in her general area as her other Commandos were in the other corners of the city, searching as well.
It was a semi long-shot that the info she wanted was here. But the chance of a ONI base untouched by any other Covenant besides her was too good to pass up. Although she was being hunted she didn't know nor would likely care why as the computers around her started to boot up. Clicking her tongue she sat on the remains of a file cabinet and started to peruse the slightly flickering screen. Only glancing up and nodding at one of the Swarm's Soldiers as he landed on the large hole in the wall to let her know that three other swarm members were also searching this section for other locations to check before the bug flew off and Kael returned to the computer.

Jiralhanae Chieftain Garatus the Deathless, Restorer of Tribes, Slayer of Shadowed Imps. Bloodstone Arena, Doisac. Indigent bird....
Garatus rolled his eyes at Kael as she became agitated and recognized him, T'vaoan were such easily provoked creatures, especially the ones from Clan Gel. Garatus snorted before speaking in response to Kael, annoyed by her indigent denial of her peoples true ways, as pirates and assassins. "Your blades have pierced more backs than you can count, denial of such is futile T'vaoan. Your... Aecor, is not here Kael, only Rukt watches over us on this world" Garatus stated with several hoots of agreement from the watchers, "Tribe, elect your champion!" Garatus commanded, many names were shouted but then Garatus's name was uttered and then latched onto by the crowd, 'Garatus' and his many titles being shouted.
Garatus raised a closed fist into the air and the crowd went silent, Garatus moved to the opposite side of the arena from Kael and took hold of his hammer. "The people have spoken Kael, you shall face me in single combat, any trickery will not be tolerated. If your blades are poisoned speak now so it cant be counted against your son later. I am ready, when you are" Garatus said, readying himself as his two eldest sons went to guard Roh.

Kael Gel - T'vaoan Champion Bloodstone Arena, Doisac Calm...look for an opening.
Getting into a right mood from the apes incessant stomping all over her nests history Kael gave him a rude gesture and started to move over to him to show him what a proper front stab looked like before she stopped. Blinking under her helmet her rational post prison mind took over as she hissed quietly and hopped back over to her side of the arena. The Ape was getting into her head to get her rage, and it was working, that couldn't stand. She needed to relax if she was going to stab up some big ape or at least give Roh enough time to cut his bonds and leg it.
Speaking of Roh she turned around to look at him, as Garatus was asking the mob to elect their champion, and nodding at him a bit while making a little slash motion with her wrist blades before continuing the gesture to turn around and face Garatus. Sweeping her arm back the other direction before dropping into a fighting stance. Looking over her opponent she quickly picked out the unarmed portions of his body; mouth, chin, inner elbow, feet, palms...this was going to be tricky as she rolled her eyes and stuck both her blades in her beak with an audible suck and slurp before pulling them out and waving them a bit.
"No poison here - you going to need your gravity generators because your not strong enough to crush a little small birdy?" She asked in a mocking tone, waiting for the swing so she could move in and try to attack...

Jiralhanae Chieftain Garatus the Deathless, Restorer of Tribes, Slayer of Shadowed Imps. Bloodstone Arena, Doisac. What a rude T'vaoan!
Garatus rolled his eyes when Kael gave him a rude gesture... again. Kig-yar and their subspecies were such rude things, always cursing and gesturing obscenely, not to mention the acrid smell the gave off commonly. Garatus suppressed his mild disgust and let out a sigh as Kael started to come at him, his grip on his hammer tightening before Kael went back to her own side of the arena. He was curious why Kael kept making slashing gestures at him, was she trying to intimidate him? If so she should have probably recited some of the gratuitous acts of violence she had committed in the past, though, Garatus had done quite a bit of that himself. He prided himself in his flair for violent actions, though he regretted one incident from his days as a Captain....
Garatus's face twisted in disgust as Kael sucked on her blades to show there was no poison, he secretly hoped she cut her tongue in the process. He nodded in acknowledgement of the lack of poison(presumably, in theory if it was a venom it could be ingested and only cause ill affects if entering the blood stream), his lip retracting to show gleaming white fangs when she questioned him on his gravity generators. "They're already off. I'm aggressive yes, but I'm not stupid enough to let work me into a berserking. Let's begin this old woman" Garatus growled.
Garatus roared with a thunderous echo and charged, hammer raised to the side. He closed the distance quickly, making a leap halfway through the charge and swung in a sideways arch as his feet were about to touch down. His will was iron, his hammer unyielding, objectives clear. Kill Kael Gel.

(BetaW) Kael Gel - T'vaoan Champion Bloodstone Arena, Doisac Searching for an opening.
Despite the lack of the gravity generators in the large hunk of unbalanced killing tool that Garatus's wielded Kael knew that any full impact, even a glancing blow, would likely be the end of her. That much mass and power would smash through her armor and leave her crippled for the killing blow. She would need to nearly always be on the defensive as the ape grinned at her and confirmed they were off - not that it was hard to see as the emitters were not glowing and there wasn't the quiet humm around the room.
Despite her rage and anger at the situation she found herself in Kael's first action was likely one that surprised Garatus and the watchers to this death fight. Sweeping her left leg back she crossed her arms across her chests and gave a deep bow as Garatus roared and started to move, a traditional Gel bow that Roh at least would recognize before she snapped her head up and hissed in response to the charge as the hammer was swung wide at her.
The first move was obvious as she did a quick hop back to avoid the strike, but she didn't move in to land a strike of her own yet. Kael seeing that Garatus could still ram his shoulder forward or just sweep back as his weapon was so much longer than hers. So Kael kept on the defensive as she waited for chance to move in. But except for that first hiss she was now silent as she saved her breath for energy not idle threats now that the battle had started...Aecor cursed Jiralhanae, this is why I hate fighting them, their accursed reach and tenacity to not just die after one good stab...
