.:: Member Ranks and Groups Information ::.
Right now, we have the following hierarchy:
Default Member Ranks – these are obtained simply by posting.
Lurker - Required Post Count: 0
Initiate Player - Required Post Count: 5
Novice Player - Required Post Count: 50
Apprentice Player - Required Post Count: 500
3lite Player - Required Post Count: 1337
Adept Player - Required Post Count: 2000
Expert Player - Required Post Count: 3000
Master Player - Required Post Count: 10000
Legendary Player - Required Post Count: 50000
Special Groups – Each of these are earned by role playing, being active, and simply being a helpful and respectful individual of the community. Each of these are earned and not handed out lightly. They are also for fun, and for us to show our appreciation to you for being active around the site and role-playing in the main missions, following the rules, etc. Please do not kiss ass, or hound those who are part of these groups and the staff team. That won't get you anywhere. Do what the description says, and you might just be voted and picked by the staff team.
NOTE: The staff will be deciding who to reward these ranks to, and not the community themselves.
Admiral/Fleet-Master - (Quick Summary: for well reputed active members of The Halo Community RPG)
To become an Admiral or Fleet-master (depending on if you are UNSC or Covenant), you'll have to earn RESPECT. Convince us you're a decent community member. Socialize and be active in the Canon and Non-Canon role-plays, and not just in the other boards.
To start off, you may attempt to:
1. Make a consistent amount of non-spam posts:
- a consistent introduction could make up for 5 posts (allowing people to get to know and understand you if you are new to the forum)
- good, consistent replies in both the role-play threads as well as the off topic discussions.
- create and participate in the forum role-plays.
2. Be a decent human being.
3. Be mindful of the Rules.
Veterans - (Quick Summary: for well known active members of The Halo Community RPG)
Some of you are already Veterans and know very well what that means. For those of you who just registered, Veterans are members of The Halo Community RPG, who have been here longer than two years, and who have been active and valuable to the community. We remember these members very well.
Paragon - (Quick Summary: for members of Valor, with significant contributions to The Halo Community RPG)
Only very few remarkable (near legendary) that have been here for 5 years, will be awarded this rank. If your current and future activity (how well you mind the rules and guidelines, how much you help other members around the site) stand out among the rest like a blinding beacon of light, we will nominate you to this member group.
Paladin - (Quick Summary: for very productive and active members of The Halo Community RPG; basically, you are a legend)
You have been part of this community for a very long time, 7+ years or more, and are regarded as the highest esteemed member for doing everything everyone else should be doing. They have stuck with us through thick and thin.
STAFF TEAM
Administration Team – The Head Admin and the Co-Admin(s). Those who are responsible and manage the whole site, and keep things in order. Do not ask for this position.
Current The Halo Community RPG administrators:
Llau (head admin)
BetaWülf (co-admin)
Global Moderator – An individual who is picked by the administration team, and one who serves as a bridge between the head administrator and the co-administrator(s) and the regular moderators. They hold more responsibility than the regular moderators, and also help the administrators a lot more around the site. Sometimes, they hold the fort down if either or both of the administration is MIA. Do not ask for this position.
Current The Halo Community RPG Global Moderator:
-Position currently closed until further notice
Moderators – They are in charge of keeping order within the community, and with other tasks and responsibilities given by the administrators, such as grading and accepting character profiles and site canon proposals, create main missions, and disciplinary actions to unruly members. Moderators are usually either privately picked by the staff, or have members fill out a form to be later voted on by the staff.
Current The Halo Community RPG Moderators:
Faclan
SPARTAN-A120
Mr. Prezident
Site Helpers – Technically, these individuals are staff, but do not hold any disciplinary powers like the main staff team does. They are helpers to the site, and are selected based on their Halo knowledge and good behavior by the staff: They can grade and accept character profiles and canon proposals, maintain canon information, help create main missions with the staff team, and help out members and guests with questions concerning Halo. Do not ask to become a Guardian or a Guru. The staff will nominate and choose who they wish to be one or the other that will be based on the individual's merit, site activity, and so forth, and then privately ask the member if they wish to have this position or not and accept the responsibility to be either a Guardian or a Guru.
