Rogue, "Unique" Geth Platform The Citadel Explanations
Rogue looked around the room. It was big, and full of beauty. It was in the Council Tower, in the Audience Chamber. Prior to coming to the Citadel, the Geth had been captured and "repaired". A Team sent from the Council managed to capture it, and a Quarian had hacked into it's systems and removed the Reaper's code that forced the affected Geth to revere them as Gods. These Geth were called "Heretics" by the Mainstream Geth, who resided beyond the Perseus Veil.
However, instead of returning to the Mainstream Geth after it's repair, it's consensus agree to stay and fight the Reaper threat, essentially becoming Rogue. After declaring it's temporary independence from the Mainstream Geth, the Quarian called it "Rogue". Seeing it as an appropriate name for itself, it went by the name Rogue. The Council then escorted Rogue back to the Citadel for questioning.
"You refused to return to the Geth beyond the Veil. Why?" Anderson, the Human Councilor, asked.
"Under current circumstances, delaying or stopping the Old Machine has more priority than returning to the True Geth." Rogue replied.
"Old Machine? You don't mean.." Anderson asked.
"You organics refer to them as, "Reapers"." Rogue said.
"Bah, more of that Reaper non-sense." The Turian Councilor whispered to the others.
"Rog-" Anderson attempted to say, before being cutoff.
"Non-sense? The Old Machine is real, we assure you." Rogue spoke.
"Enough on that subject. Anderson, you were saying?" The Asari Councilor said.
"Rogue, that's what you're called, right?" Anderson asked.
"Yes, that is what the Quarian labeled us." Rogue replied.
"You're to head to Syris, a Human colony out in the Terminus Systems. We have intel that someone's planning to raid the planet. We need you there to help stop it. We have teams already on route. Follow their lead." Anderson said.
"Yes, Anderson-Captain." Rogue replied.
"Won't it need a ship?" The Salarian Councilor asked.
"Unneeded. We contacted the True Geth prior to our arrival at this station. They agreed to send us a fighter that suits this platform's role. Currently, this platform houses 1,000 Programs. The ship sent to us contains 500 Programs. Once we return to the ship, the 500 Programs will upload into this Platform, increasing our efficiency." Rogue explained.
"Go, then." Anderson said.
Rogue left the Audience Chamber. On it's way out, it spotted the Quarian that named the platform. It didn't know if the Quarian had seen it, however, it did not matter. It took the elevator down from the Tower, and walked toward the Hanger where the Geth Fighter had been docked. Once there, it boarded the Fighter and deactivated itself in one of the storage rooms used to harbor inactive platforms while the Fighter was in flight.
The Fighter was different than the standardized Fighters most Geth used. It was colored black, and was equipped with a cloaking device along with an FTL Drive to move around systems as needed. It also had a bit more firepower than a regular Fighter, but that was about it. It was meant to serve a stealth/infiltration role, as well as a personal transport role. The reason it was colored black was for when the cloaking device ceased to work at any time. The Black hull would act as camouflage and blend in with the empty void of space.
The 1,000 Programs in the Platform transferred into the Fighter, joining the 500 already present. The Fighter undocked and flew out of the Hanger. As it left the Citadel, it engaged it's FTL Drive and set it's destination was set for the Mass Relay within the System. It would take a few hours to get there, despite how advance the Fighter was.

Ryna’Boshra vas Kalway The Citadel Interesting
Ryna walked out of the laboratory escorted by two C-Sec officers. She wasn’t in cuffs or any other restraints but they made it clear she had to leave. They lead the Quarian through C-Sec then stopped her just outside the building. Waiting for her was a Salarian garbed as some sort of dignitary. “The Council would like to thank you for your assistance in our efforts to eradicate the Geth beyond the Veil,” he said, “However now that the threat is gone there is no need of your services any longer. As payment we have given you the ship you have asked for along with transferring the agreed amount of credits into your account.”
The Salarian leaned in closer and then whispered, “And a little extra to insure that what happened in the lab stays there. We don’t want anything to get out now would we?”
He then returned to a more neutral posture and said, “You are free to go and again we would like to thank you for your invaluable help.”
With that the Salarian disappeared into the crowd as her escorts returned to the C-Sec building. Ryna looked around for a moment to see if she was going to be approached by anyone else before she began making her way to the elevator.
That was the strangest thank you she ever got. It was an interesting time working with the various other races and she learned a lot. Then she was presented with a once in a lifetime opportunity. Her team came across a new platform of Geth. Though a few of her went down, she managed to stun it without having it self-destruct. Since Quarians were the ones that made the Geth and she was a great engineer, it was natural for the Council to ask her work on the Geth to make it friendly to the Council. Codenamed Project Rogue, after she tampered with its code it awoke. It was…different. It was pink and when it asked if this unit had a name it spoke with a female voice.
It was an opportunity of a lifetime but before Ryna could really study it they pulled her away from it. She didn’t get to save much data and what she did have C-Sec erased. She will probably never see it again. She gave a sigh. “See what happens when they ask for my help again,” she said to herself.
As orange and red clad Quarian neared the elevator she happened to look up. She wiped a three fingered hand over her visor for she had to be seeing things. She wasn’t. It was the Geth Rogue going down an elevator. Suddenly something became clear to her. Life was offering her another chance. She had to take it.
However before Ryna could catch up to it the door closed. She then quickly went to the next elevator and went down to the hangars. The door parted before her just to see the Geth fighter take off. She ran to the small freighter waiting for her. It was modest to say the least with only basic features and some supplies but it had an FTL drive and that’s all that mattered to her. She quickly hopped into the cockpit and took off after the Geth fighter. Before it was shot off by the Mass Effect Relay, she managed to get a lock on its destination. Syris? Why would it go there? No matter. All she knew was that that’s where she was going too. She set her course for the system then shot through the relay.

1st Luitenant Kaedar Hierlian Turian Interceptor Squadron Standing By
Luitenant K Dialed his team's radios frequency on his fighter's console. He rolled his shoulders and cracked his neck, he didn't really trust himself behind the wheel of any vehicle since his hot pursuit the last time he entered the terminus systems... He lost a lot of good soldiers that day: "Op command this is Luitenant Hierlian, me and my men are at the relay and ready to go." He realized it could be a while until the other teams arrived, but he made it a point to always be punctual.
He got some chatter from the rest of his squad and enhanced the frequency: "--tenant, I hear your a bit rusty on the controls, you sure your qualified to go for your trial run in the Terminus systems?" One soldier cracked, his name was Garotis, a trained star fighter: "Ah, Garo, I can always count on you to be my backup in the Terminus Systems." The Turian sounded blessed: "Well, that's very honoring si-" K interrupted: "And no where else." The whole squadron burst out laughing.
"So we are going to a human colony.. What do you think we will find?" One soldier asked. K paused: "Raiders.. Lots of them as Command put it. And I hope it's going to be a ground game this time..." he began remembering how badly his last mission there went and it put a shiver down his spine. There was an eerie silo ce about the squadron, out of respect, then the silence was broken by Garotis: "Who are the other teams assigned? From the look of the files they certainly aren't Turian military as well..." K agreed, this was an anomaly in his book, but his mind was eased after a brief thought on the matter: "Multiple Citadel Councilors must have pitched in some of their resources, combined species effort is good for the inter-species relations structure they have." It made a little sense, he guessed, the approaching geth ship however did raise an eyebrow... Well... If he had one.
Op Com finally got into contact with his squadron: "Red One this is Operation Command, your team will be the scouting party, go ahead and hit the relay, stay below the radar and secure an LZ on the surface, Operation Command out." K nodded: "YOU HEARD THE MAN! Hit the relay ladies, go! Go! Go!" They flew in formation and neared the relay. Kaedar prayed for the fate of his team as the squadron flew in formation alongside the relay, ready to jump.

Lieutenant-Commander Daniel McCoy SSV Arnhem Waiting
Commander McCoy was running around the ship. He had to get her ready for Admiral Hackett's inspection, or he'd hang. He was already lucky for getting such an afvanced ship at his rank. The Normandy Class. Similar to the original Normandy, but with subtle differences. Too subtle for the Commander to name.
Then the voice of the helmsman was heard. "Admiral Hacketis waiting for you on vid-com, Commander. I'd not let him wait."
"Thank you, Iceman. Tell them I'll be right up." was the Commander's reply. With that, he sped off to the conference room behind the star map. Upon entering the room, he could already see the hologramme. The Commander saluted, and then stood at ease.
"Commander, your assignment to the 5th fleet is over before it began. I am detaching the Arnhem for special operations. Now, onto your mission. The planet of Syris. It's a small colony of ours. We have received reports of pirates planning to invade. You were there at Elysium. You've fought these kind of bands before, and with Shepard... Indisposed... We're sending you. You won't be alone, though. I'm transferring Lieutenant Callaghan and gunnery Chief van Helsing to you. The Council is also sending several teams. You're representing the Alliance out there. Do what you can. Hackett out."
The hologramme faded away, and the Commander was left alone. He turned around, and using the commline with the helmsman he said "Iceman, take us out the moment the personnel transfers are completed. Destination Syris."

Urdnot Brux Shadow Broker Command shuttle Enroute to Syris
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN NOT RESPONDING!?" Roared Brux as he threw the Turian that gave him the news against a wall in fury.
"The team we had on Syris went dark during an expedition sir" the Turian said in a small whimper as the Krogan stood over him.
Brux gave an angry growl and knelt in front of the cowering figure.
"You have disappointed me Tigron." He said quietly before his arm darted out and threw Tigron into the closest airlock and jetted him out of Brux's ship, sealing the Turians fate.
Brux turned to the rest of his crew.
"Set a course for Syris I want to know what the hell happened there." He said in low, dangerous tone.
He turned and moved towards the comms room, the Shadow Broker was going to be displeased with the news he had.
(Will bring Drentak in when it makes sense for him to be there)

Esche - Salarian, STG Engineer. En Route to Syris Gettin' an ear full.
"It is unacceptable!"
Esche and the other three Operatives just watched the screen in their transport as they thundered toward the mission location. The mostly hidden Salarian handler continuing his berating.
"Completely unacceptable! It is a disgrace to the history of Special Task's that this enemy is unknown!" The Operatives just nodded, Esche glancing down at the console to see that they had nearly forty more minutes of this before they would arrive at Syris. "Not only that," the handler continued. "But other species are on their way there now, a Geth, Quarian, Human, Turian, and Krogan. Are you going to let STG get beaten by a Krogan!?" The operatives shook their heads as the screen momentarily went black, signal lost showing on the screen as the three Operatives took the time to double check their suits, shields, helmets, and weapons as they waited. But none of them moved from their spots as Esche did a quick pass of his helmet with his dark blue Omni-tool to check for faults before doing the same with his two thigh mounted pistols and small smg on his back. No faults detected. The thermal clips, Esche still thinking it was a foolish switch as the old system was far better for long field ops, on his chest and belt were also checked for faults, and finally his few cylinders of Scorpion ammo. With everything checked he just had time to stand back at attention before their handler showed back up.
"These connections are also unacceptable!" The Operatives just nodded again as they continued on their way...hoping to be the first to arrive on the scene so their handler and STG as a whole wouldn't get more cross with them not being five steps ahead of the other races of the galaxy.
(I was thinking the STG would arrive first? But fine either way.)

Hey guys, sorry for not posting, 'Tis the season. Rogue, "Unique" Geth PlatformSyrisFrom Bad to WorseThe Geth Fighter dropped out from the Mass Relay in the Lethyr System, where the planet Syris was located. Once arriving in orbit of the planet, Rogue noticed an Alliance Fleet, headed by a Dreadnought ( MrKill, just a heads up, if you plan on making a Dreadnought, I just gave you a perfect entrance for your initial post) engaging a Pirate fleet close by. However, something was off. A massive cruiser, that resembled neither Pirate or Alliance ships, was engaging both Fleets. It was ripping right through them, it's massive frontward cannon shredding through kinetic barriers like butter. It released a large number of small strike craft, that appeared to fire deadly lasers from their red "eyes". The alien cruiser managed to bypass the two fleets and their defenses, however it was heavily damaged by the time it begun it's descent into the atmosphere. The Geth Fighter tried to get planetside quickly. As it was preparing to land, it noticed a metropolis-like city in the distance. The alien cruiser looked as if it was on a crash course, but it simply landed capsized in the center of the city. The aliens on board were likely going to attempt to repair the ship. The main cannon of the vessel pointed at the sky, so as soon as repairs were down, the ship could simply launch right into the sky and away from the planet. The Geth Fighter quickly docked in one of the many Hanger Bays laying on the edge of the metropolis. These were usually used by trade ships such as freighters to haul in cargo and such. However, the Hangers with big enough to dock large ships such as Normandy Frigates or Troop Transports, or lots of smaller ships such as Fighters or Shuttles. Once the magnetic clamps locked the Geth Fighter into place, the programs transferred from the Fighter to the Rogue Platform in one of the storage rooms. Rogue left the ship and tried getting out the building as quickly as possible. However, Pirates littered the building, so it was difficult to get it. Rogue had a few close corridor fights but eventually got out onto the streets. Pirates were also on the streets. Rogue aimed it's Spitfire at a small group of four Pirates, however, before he could eradicate them, they were shot in the back by the Aliens from the crashed cruiser. Rogue quickly checked Citadel databases and extranet sources. It appeared that these Aliens were known as "Collectors". Rogue ducked behind an overturned car. He peeked over the side, and saw that the Collectors were dragging the bodies of the Pirates back to their ship. Well, the ones still alive, at least. They were also abducting colonists in the streets using Seeker Swarms to petrify them. Rogue decided not to engage, as there were too many. He looked into the sky, and saw Pirate Fighters flying over the metropolis, only to be chased by Oculi, the Collector Strike Craft engaging the fleets from earlier. One Pirate Fighter's Engines caught fire, and it crashed into the side of a building not too far ahead. The building was lighting up like a candle as explosions rippled through it. Flying debris scattered everywhere, and falling debris managed to kill some of the Collectors up ahead. However, there was still too many to engage without being overwhelmed. Rogue maintained it's position behind the car, and simply waited. Perhaps reinforcements would arrive. Perhaps.

Drentak Raos Drell Assassin Syris
Drentak had been on this planet for nearly three days tracking his target, one of the more important leaders of the Pirates that fought the enemy that had just blundered in and started sending seeker swarms out.
He gave a prayer and activated his cloak, hiding him from the sight of suck creatures, and began to run for his safe house, the former home of some Vorcha that quickly fell to Drentak in a quiet battle, he made his way by one of the streets and watched a fighter crash into a nearby building, sending Debris everywhere.
The Debris fell short of where Drentak stood and he ran out across the street and into one of the adjacent buildings to the crash. As he entered he heard a whimper followed by a scream as a small human child was dragged from her hiding spot in a vent.
Drentak gave a small curse and pulled out his Scorpion, checking it for any faults before turning and shooting at one of the insectoid creatures, startling them for a second before releasing the screaming child and returning fire. Drentak ran for cover and dived into a dark corner of the building.
He searched his surroundings and saw an open ventilation duct, not pausing as he quietly climbed up into it and quietly moved through as the creatures below approached. Drentak slowed his breathing and stopped moving, hearing confused noises from below as the predators lost their prey. He hears their footsteps withdraw from where he lay in the vents and stayed absolutely still. He waited a few minutes before making his way back to the ground.
He activated his cloak once more and ran for his safe house, hoping to either wait for an opportunity to leave or for another party to arrive.
(I'll edit this if there are problems, its late I'm tired and this is about 5 minutes or rushedness.)

Ryna’Boshra Vas Kalway Syris Alliance, Pirates, and Collectors Oh My!
Shortly after the Geth Fighter dropped into the Lethyr System Ryna’s freighter appeared. She regained her bearings then proceeded to follow the Fighter toward the planet Syris. She saw that there was a massive battle between ships clearly marked as Alliance and presumably pirates with a third party she never seen before. The massive cruiser looked like a strange rock formation floating in space but wielded a devastating beam that cut through fighters like a plasma torch through aluminum. Thankfully they were too wrapped up in their own battle to notice simple freighter.
Was this why the Geth was here? Was it here to study or help? When the Fighter flew down to the surface she was guessing the latter though the question ‘why just send one Geth?’ came to mind. She saw the Fighter dock at one of the Hangar Bays and docked hers nearby. After a quick minute of securing the ship and gearing up, the Quarian emerged with Geth Pulse Rifle in hand. To the outsider it may seem strange for a Quarian to wield a Geth weapon but she had it partially as a trophy and something to study but mostly because she genuinely liked the weapon. It was a good, versatile weapon.
At first she wasn’t sure where the Geth went but then she found a body. Soon there was another one and she found that there was a whole trail of them leading to the streets. She took cover at the threshold then peered around to see the Geth taking cover behind a capsized car. Further examination of the area revealed that there were insectoid aliens roaming the streets and they were everywhere. She heard rumors of strange aliens called Collectors though she never paid much attention to them for she was a Quarian whose focus was on the welfare of her fleet, not wraiths that were supposedly behind the disappearances of Human colonies.
There were a lot of them, too many for one being to take on alone. Probably why the Geth hasn’t engaged them. But why was it waiting there? Was it expecting reinforcements or something? Like her? Ryna didn’t fly the stealthiest of craft and figured it knew she was there but it didn’t make any attempts to engage her. Most likely because she was no threat and probably didn’t care. Maybe she should make contact with it first.
“Hey!” she whispered trying to get the Geth’s attention, “Need some help?”

Lieutenant-Commander Daniel McCoy SSV Arnhem Entering the system
McCoy stood next to the helmsman. The flight here had been uneventful, and he had mainly worked on old paperwork. He did not quite understand what was going on. He was detached from the regular chain, and under special orders from Hacket. The orders stated that he was to investigate the reports of pirates invading the colony. They also stated that under the Admiral's authority he could not be drafted into any militia or local fleet.
His thoughts were interrupted by Iceman speaking up. "Entering normal space in 5... 4... 3... 2... 1..." McCoy nodded. "Okay Iceman, activate stealth systems. Let's see what we see before making our presence known" he replied. The helmsman touched a few buttons and said "Stealth systems engaged. We are running silent."
The Commander looked out of the window before he checked a small, but detailed map of the system, showing the locations of both friendly and enemy ships. The Pirates hadn't showed up yet. He could see a small Alliance fleet. Probably patrolling the area. McCoy ordered Iceman to take her down to the planet, and to land at the designated hangar.
While the Arnhem was flying down, McCoy gathered a few Marines and got him and them fitted out. They waited in the airlock, and as soon as the ship was safely docked, he left the ship. He heard the VI say "Logged: Commanding Officer is ashore, XO Callaghan has the deck."

RADM. Arthur 'AJ' James Winchester SSV Aconcagua - Kilimanjaro Class Dreadnought Damaged The SSV Aconcagua, the most powerful System Alliance vessel in this system, was disabled by an alien vessel the Rear Admiral had never seen before. Out of his twelve ships, seven of them were nearly instantly destroyed by a powerful beam weapon and even more of his single ship fighters that he had ordered to be deployed were taken down. Out of the remaining and surviving Alliance Navy only one of them, the SSV Christian - a Heavy Cruiser, was still fully functioning. The fires that had spread to the bridge of the SSV Aconcagua had been put out, but the blackened and charred remains of what used to be a section of wall remained as a reminder on how close they had come to destruction. With the SSV Aconcagua out of action for now, with severed command points between the bridge and the engines, they had to rely on the SSV Christian for protection. "Anyone know what the fuck that was?" AJ asked, but got only doubtful replies. "Monitor the pirate fleet. Message the secondary bridge and order them to move us to a more reliable position. Take us towards the moon of this planet." AJ ordered. "And get my damn guns back online!"

1st Luitenant Kaedar Hierlian Syris Both Feet Planted
The Luitenant's team had seen a bit more than they expected, but the interceptors didn't suffer a single casualty at first encounter. From the space battles the clever Turians had figured out how the collector's ships worked... Enduring particle lasers emitted from a mobile gyro rotator. It could virtually target fighters at any angle, but the patterns of the fire were predictable, and the swift interceptors made their way to the surface. Kaedar was relieved, this was his chance to help turn the tide. He spoke to his comrades, with the courage of a General: "All right men, fly in formation Theta-14 towards the city... I've got a plan..."
He addressed the so-called plan as such: "I want my best airmen making a difference in the sky while I take a strike team down on the surface to rescue any survivors from peril. The bulk of our force will be offering air support to those on the ground, but I need three of you at all times at the ready for any requests directly from me... So sort it out and make sure not to leave the city until further orders... To the three of you coming down with me, I hope you packed your toothbrushes. Land at Lat: 420 Lon: 065 at the city grid, I'm picking up movement down there, weapons hot." He engaged his landing gear as the air support blazed past both sides.
When he landed it wasn't long until the others with him did the same. They formed up on him and he led his team through the streets. He pulled out his sniper and scoped out the streets and saw a Geth and a Quarian taking cover. His eyes scanned their positioning and he saw some collector troopers, jet packing down from a balcony. All the Turians raised their guns towards the Geth at eight and Kaedar lifted his hand: "Hold fire... We'll have time to ask questions later... Focus on the raiders." He closed his eyes and took a deep breath... Space... Sound is muffled by space... If they were in space now, the cold emptiness of space, they wouldn't be able to call for help: "Time to bring space to us, pick your targets." He whispers and he flows with biotic energy and lifts all the collectors into a pull field.
The collector troopers flailed from the unexpected gravity disruption. With the Turian's precise shots the collectors dropped quickly, and efficiently silenced: "Now take cover, and don't reveal yourselves... We don't want to draw any more attention... The collector's presence on this colony is much larger than ours... We need to be calculated about every decision." They all activated their tactical cloaks and set up in positions at the balcony. Kaedar was the first to raised his sniper rifle and aim at the "ring leader" of the advancing collector team. He flared his mandibles and pulled the trigger, firing a shoth clean through the collector's temple... Or at least what he beloved to be its temple, they had strange heads in his opinion. He took cover directly afterwards.

Lieutenant-Commander Daniel McCoy SSV Arnhem Time for Action
The team walked around the settlement for a time. The people were friendly, but not alltogether pleased with the Alliance there. Something about coming here to get away from the Alliance, only to have them come to them. McCoy didn't put much thought in it. From what he could tell, the planet was ill prepared for an invasion.
Then a massive ship descended. It landed some ways off from the settlement. Too far to leg it. They needed to get back to the Arnhem to get close. It took a few minutes, but eventually they got there. He turned to the helm. "Iceman, patch me in with the Alliance fleet up there." he said. The helmsman complied, and a moment later he told the Commander that he should be patched in.
"This is SSV Arnhem calling whoever's in command up there. What is that thing that just landed on the planet? What the hell is it, and how did those pirates get it?" he asked.
