Hey guys! This story takes place abourd HMS Titan, a patrol boat in service of the Royal Kelonnan Navy. Kelonna is a fictuinal kingdom island, that has about 700 million inhabitants. It is an absolute monarchy, meaning the king has all the power. There's also a Lord President, who is drawn from the House of Lords. Royal Kelonnan Navy Patrol Boats operate under a two-watch system, where a watch is 4 hours on, and then 4 hours off. The First Watch is commanded by the XO, and the Second Watch is commanded by the SO. The Skipper can take command whenever he pleases.

The ship
HMS Titan is the Royal Kelonnan Navy's 15th Shadowjumper Class Patrol Boat. She belongs to the 4th Patrol Flotilla, and her home port is Harrison Naval Base, on Grissom Island. The 4th Flotilla is commanded by Lord Fleet-Captain Ser Gregory Cevari, Knight-Commander of the Order of Kelon. The man became a war hero when he, as a young Ensign attached to a Marine Expeditionary Unit saved a platoon and single-highhandedly took out three insurrectionist machine gun positions firing upon said platoon.

Titan's mascot is a small statuette of Thor with his hammer, Mjolnir.

While some people might argue that the Shadowjumper class ships are corvettes, or even small frigates for countries with small navies, the Kelonnan Navy is so big that it considers these ships as mere patrolboats.

Crew
Thor has a crew of 40 men: 1 CO, 1 XO, 5 officers, 3 Warrant Officers and 33 enlistees. There are also 13 marines on board, who are commanded by a Sergeant (Whom I will name below). Lastly, there are 4 pilots (2 pilots; 2 copilots) of the Royal Kelonnan Air Force aboard, who fly the Seahawks. I will only name the officers and the Warrant Officers here. (In order of seniority)

So in total, there are 60 men and women aboard. I will probably not use everyone named in each post. They are there mostly for reference.

HMS Titan bridge

Justin was sitting in the raised chair on the bridge. The Captain's chair. He had earned this seat through years of hard work. Though at the age of 28 he was still young for a Lieutenant-Commander, his superiors had been convinced that he was fit for command of a Patrol Boat. He was posted aboard HMS Orion as a Lieutenant as her XO for a tour while he studied for Navy's Patrol Boat Command Certification Board. After he had completed it at the top of the group, he was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander and was given command of the Titan three months ago.

As he looked through the forward window, the Navigator suddenly spoke "Suspected FFV on radar, zero-one-four degrees off our port bow, range.. six miles."

Justin sat up, and turned to the Boatswain and said "Steer zero-one-four. Revolutions three-zero-zero-zero". The Boatswain then repeated the order while he set a course for the suspected fishing vessel.

Five minutes later, the ship came into visual range. It was a rather large boat, but unfortunately it was not the mother ship, which they had been hunting for. These ships were the most vital ones, and without them, more than one vessel would have to cease their fishing.  Justin grabbed the microphone from the dashboard and said "Hands to boarding stations, hands to boarding stations, hands to boarding stations. Assume damage control state Yankee". While he said it, his voice was heard all over the ship, and was followed by a few shouts of the men coming in action. State Yankee meant that one RHIB was going over, with 5 people in it: Two of his sailors and two marines, lead by the Executive Officer.

From his place on the Bridge, he saw that the RHIB was racing towards the vessel. The Titan was still turning while the RHIB was already a few hundred meters away. He missed leading boarding actions, but knew that was what would happen with his promotion.
